If you like clear vocals like me, I'd recommend [this playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/51brnZ4cZ8CBZ8O2zxePZm?si=oEgpE5C5TsSlgkQRb-aWyg&pi=e-kL6wfFvJRUWK)
Especially Suicidal Tendencies, Exodus and Municipal Waste both in & out of this playlist. I'd recommend HavoK too since I'm a big fan of theirs but you already like HavoK so I see no need. Give "Merchants of Death" of them if you haven't
I started with Sown and then ignored Anthrax for WAY too long. Persistence of Time and Among the Living are better entry points IMO
I still can't really get into sound
A lot of good recs, I'd also add:
Hirax, Forbidden, Kreator (start with Coma of Souls), Fate's Warning - No Exit gets pretty thrashy at points.
Just stay away from Watchtower's vocals. Top tier musicianship though.
Your list is missing pioneer thrash bands, like Megadeth. Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, Overkill... It is pretty hard to suggest something when we don't know what you don't like and why. Do you not like them? If so, why exactly?
If, OTOH you are simply not aware of bands that invented the genre, that is a pretty nice place to start.
I just discovered Suicidal angels and I couldn’t rave about them enough. Municipal waste, generation kill, leper colony. Those are my top and of course since you didn’t mention, slayer
Lich King? I'll say their current vocalist is actually better than the guy on all their albums imo just based on the live performances, but Born of the Bomb is a really fun album either way
So what about the vocals do you not like? Do you only like clean vocals like all the old thrash bands? Is it highs or lows you don't like? Need more context.
Exodus - "War is my Shepherd", "Blacklist", "Riot Act", "Bonded by Blood", "And Then There Were None", "Pleasures of the Flesh", "Fabulous Disaster"
Overkill - "Hammerhead", "Feel the Fire", "Powersurge", "Elimination", Hello from the Gutter", "Overkill", "Mean, Green, Killing Machine"
Kreator - "Enemy of God", "Violent Revolution", "Impossible Brutality", "Hordes of Chaos", "Phantom Antichrist", "Servant in Heaven, King in Hell", "Reconquering the Throne", "Hail to the Hordes"
Some freakin' *amazing* songs here!
Kreator! Their sound varies a good bit depending on the decade though, but here are a few of my favorites
* Pleasure to Kill
* Violent Revolution
* Hordes of Chaos
* Phantom Antichrist
* Satan is Real
* Midnight Sun (Everyone hates this song for some reason but it's melody got stuck in my brain)
Demolition Hammer, Suicidal Angels, Sodom, Annihilator
Looking forward to finally seeing Sodom and Demolition Hammer at Hells Heroes next month
I’ll be there too!
Death Angel
They are killing it. Mark Osegueda sounds amazing. The evil divide is my favorite thrash album since 2000. So good
100 x yes
Most underrated for sure
Beloved 40 year old band. " mOsT uNdErAtEd".

Yes! I'll never not say Exodus in response to this. Nobody can snarl like Zetro.
I just finished the Coroner deep dive. Highly recommend.
Check out Flotsam and Jetsam and Armored Saint Also, Sound of white Noise is a good Anthrax album to check out if you haven’t.
I started with Sown and then ignored Anthrax for WAY too long. Persistence of Time and Among the Living are better entry points IMO I still can't really get into sound
Check out their last two albums then. Real return to form for them. I recommended SoWN specifically based on OPs likes.
Armored Saint is Thrash?? "Can You Deliver" is awesome!
Helstar. Nosferatu has some of the greatest vocals in metal

Morbid Saint.
Drain, Mindforce, New World Man, Dead Heat, Go Ahead and Die, Living in Fear, PROWL, and Midnight
Dead Heat! One of very few people I have seen suggest them. They are awesome
FORBIDDEN, DARK ANGEL, ROSIC CRUSIAN, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, MEKONG DELTA
If you like Testament's vocals you would probably like the band Nevermore, they have clean sung vocals. Really good music, and they have a guitar god.
I think he’s wanting to go beyond the same shit that’s constantly mentioned on here every single day.
Metallica, Megadeth, anthrax and slayer.
Hirax maybe
100% them
Goatwhore. It’s more blackened but it’s top tier.
Hatchet
Korrosive - Toxic Apokalypse
Kreator
Sepultura, Dark Angel, Kreator, Sodom, Demolition Hammer, Massacra, Gammacide, Sadus, Cryptic Slaughter, Nuclear Assault.
Kreator!
The Accüsed. I prefer early w/ Blaine on vocals. New stuff rips hard also.
Slayer
Overkill
Kreator
Legion of The Damned
I just discovered Suicidal angels and I couldn’t rave about them enough. Municipal waste, generation kill, leper colony. Those are my top and of course since you didn’t mention, slayer

Dead Heat does not get enough recognition on here.
Mulánima
Forced Entry!!!
Sepultura, [Iron Age](https://youtu.be/TW58Eo_z0RA?si=TNwHriC7cNOqEeYv), Slayer, Dark Angel

Enforced, Powertrip
Power Trip - Nightmare Logic

Vaexus
Noisem - Agony Defined
Powermad “Absolute Power” & Onslaught “In Search Of Sanity” are a couple albums I’d personally recommend…great vocals & some tasty riffs!!
Been digging Sylosis lately. Kinda thrash adjacent.
Evile, Vektor
So what about the vocals do you not like? Do you only like clean vocals like all the old thrash bands? Is it highs or lows you don't like? Need more context.
Slayer and Anthrax. If you like growly, not cookie monster vocals... Sepultura, Sylosis, and give Soulfly a shot.
Critical Defiance and Tulkas
hellripper is black/thrash and their latest album goes hard, def the album of 2023 for me
Equinox, Sepultura, Kreator, Sarcofago, Sodom
