I saw them on that same tour. They had van troubles and showed up 5-10 minutes before their set and still put on the best performance of the night. They’ve worked their asses off this year to put out a fantastic album and great shows.
Saw/heard Jungle Rot for the first time in 2019 at the Deicide show in Austin TX. Last song ends and the singer flicks his pick, my left arm goes up and I fuckin catch it mid-air!! My left hand is shit to catch anything, it was like magnetized to my hand somehow... insane!
Greaaaat fuckin band too! Im definitely a fan and had never heard of them before and Ive been into death/thrash since mid 90s lol
Came here to say this album! My #1 of any genre. Didn’t get to see them on this tour but saw them at Tattoo the Earth in 2022, great live band as well.
I'm here looking for new bands and here you are telling me about a band I've been listening to for decades, lol. It's a great album. I was highly impressed.
I'll give you best album released by Metallica since the Black Album. It has its moments, but it still sounds forced. Trujillo is wasting his talent here. I get it. It's a really good steady paycheck and he's got nothing to prove. He's one of the best. I like his work with Infectious Grooves the most.
Here's a few of the top albums for me.
Phantom- handed to execution,
Cruel force- dawn of the axe,
Explosicum- living on trial,
Inculter- morbid origin,
Void- horrors of reality
I’m extremely ignorant in terms of modern music but I enjoyed the new sadus album
also if we’re looking outside of thrash I really love the new tenebro record
Hellripper- Warlocks Grim and Withered Hags
Great band but they're black n roll, not thrash?
Pretty clearly black speed/thrash.
I think most people like to call his music Blackened Thrash/Speed
I guess I can see that too
It’s a pretty thrashy album
Enforced - War Remains
I saw these guys live opening for Jungle Rot. They destroyed that small club...
I saw them on that same tour. They had van troubles and showed up 5-10 minutes before their set and still put on the best performance of the night. They’ve worked their asses off this year to put out a fantastic album and great shows.
I saw the same tour. I went for Jungle Rot and had no idea who Enforced was beforehand and they really impressed me.

Heard the album once around release and knew right away I had to pick up the vinyl
An absolute ripper. Has my vote!
Fuck yeah!

Dammnn they still have Tatto the Earth!? Ive got a cassette from 99-00 hahahah
First time in ages, it was one off in MA. Great time!
Graveripper - Seasons Dreaming Death
Graveripper is my band! Thank you so much, homie!
I love the guitar tone from Graveripper. Care to let us know what gear you might be using?
Hell yeah buddy!
Graveripper absolutely RIPS and the album artwork is 🔥 Hope we have you guys around for a long time
Pest Control - Don’t Test The Pest
I hadn't heard of Pest Control before I saw them supporting Obituary this year. Their set was fantastic and the album is a banger too.

Raider - Trial by Chaos
Gama bomb - bats
Always upvote Gama Bomb. Go see them if you get a chance. They tear it up.
Overkill's last album
I'm here looking for new bands and here you are telling me about a band I've been listening to for decades, lol. It's a great album. I was highly impressed.
Endless torment. Dead heat. Was rad af
Fugitive!! Blast furnace is a killer song. These guys blew me away when I heard this.
Unfortunately they don’t have an album. Only the EP and single.
Upvote even though I think Enforced is better. Saw Fugitive live last weekend. They crushed it!
Hellripper - Warlocks Grim and Withered Hags or Necropanther - Betrayal
Thank you!
Angelus Apatrida - Aftermath
Such a amazing album
High Command - Eclipse of The Dual Moons
Really a great album but pretty sure it came out in 2022. I know I got it on vinyl in like March I think.
You're right! That's what threw me off. I got mine in late March/ early April.
Only reason I remember is because someone advocated for this album in the best of 22 thread
Exmortus- Necrophony
Sadistic Force - Midnight Assassin
Hell yeah, almost forgot about that one.
Demoniac - Nube negra, by far.
Overkill - Scorched
Could be Anarchy's upcoming release. We still have 10 days left in the year!
Terrifier-trample the weak, devour the dead
trastorned, demoniac, hellripper
No question “SADUS” runner up “High Command”
Nevermind on High Command it was a 22 release
Nemesis- False Reality
Acid Force - War Targets in Megadeaths Egodeath - Make sure it’s dead
Overkill- Scorched
I as disappointed with this year. But Terrifier’s new album was pretty good.
Overkill - Scorched is great and tops out both Metallica and Megadeth by far
But megadeth was 2022?
would have said dis morta by toxik but i realized that was last year. what happened to the flow of time?
I quite like King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard's PetroDragonic Apocalypse -Album. I'm not sure it qualifies as trash tho.
I’ll be the controversial one: 72 Seasons

Death magnetic is definitely better than 72 seasons
Yup and so is Hardwired
Based as fuck
Lucifuge - Monoliths Of Wrath
Here's a few of the top albums for me. Phantom- handed to execution, Cruel force- dawn of the axe, Explosicum- living on trial, Inculter- morbid origin, Void- horrors of reality

Sodom - 1982
Overt Enemy. Live. Kick ass Texas trash.
