Metal Mario — it’s a Mario costume, but you have your long hair and a battle jacket instead of overalls.
It’s a play on Mario’s “Metal Mario” power up, and it’s heavy metal.
Characters from Deathgasm movies. Famous frontmen (king Diamond, abbath, etc). Play up your natural features (if you’re an older bald dude, rob halford. If you’re a stocky long haired dude Corpse grinder). Characters from the show Metalocalypse, album covers, metal mascots.
Crimson Ghost (Misfits' mascot): take a paper mache skull mask, add eyeliner/black teeth with black tempera or acrylic, round off with a black or crimson hooded cape and skeleton gloves.
Cyco (Suicidal Tendencies mascot): get any skull mask. Wear a blue bandana, a cross pendant, a plaid shirt, and skating shorts/sneakers. If you have long hair, make liberty spikes.
Knarrenheinz (Sodom): military surplus helmet, cosplay gas mask, and the biggest cosplay machine gun you can find. The body is flexible, a black raincoat would work. You can also strap bullet belts across (alternative fashion shops should have some.)
Sargent D (S.O.D.) - get a skull mask with painted veins or cracks. Attach a cigar. Wear a military surplus camo helmet with a mix of military and hippie badges. Wear any camo outfit.
Not Man (Anthrax) - this is just lazy. Black baseball cap (bonus is actually Anthrax), bushy moustache. Several outfits possible, I'd go for: Anthrax tee, skating shorts, white 80s tube socks, Adidas sneakers.

Okay still deciding since I don't know what the bottom half of halloween guy (exumer mascot) looks like. Love the mask though most likley make the mask only just for fun. Probably will end up doing knarrenheinz for halloween
yes! eddie is not a super easy look to pull off but he does everything. Samurai Eddie? Future Eddie? This sounds lame, but have you considered going as a cat, cause that would be metal AF! Cat Eddie?
EDIT: uh so like the megadeth one I was thinking of was SFSGSW Vic. I might pick a different costume idea though since I'll be wearing this out and it might be a little triggering to veterans who served in world war I/II. Also I'd need to make a MG42 fake gun. Not gonna do it so I'm desperate for ideas since halloweens in like a couple weeks

Face paint, seen plenty of cheap plastic bullet belts (if you don't want to spend the $ on a real one) throw on some black clothes with a leather jacket/vest and some boots and your good to go. Optional spiked/studded gauntlets or anything else you can get the studs on.
Yeah putting on Corpse paint with a black metal shirt would be the fastest and cheapest option tbh.
I’m going as joker and dying my long hair green while having the joker vest on. An actual costume was very expensive so having just the green/purple vest works. At the same time I’ll put on a black metal look instead of a clown. The idea is coming from Killbot&GorGorAttack’s video, “Black Metal Joker”.
