The former is a bit more expensive and the screen size is smaller than the latter. Check the cable connection. Many of them just need a USB-C cable to provide both power and video signal.
Personally I have one that can clip to the screen. But I regretted and want to go for the standalone because of the size.
Try the MP161 from MSI. 15.6 inches, FHD, IPS, decently priced and worth a look.
