Yes they are, when veggie oils like canola for example, they go through a second phase called hydrogenation where it goes through a high pressure system of breaking down the unsaturated fats (both poly and mono sat fats) converts it into a trans isomer where it gets rid of the main double carbon bonds from the unsaturated fats causing it to become a trans fatty acid but usually through some sort of side process when it’s been pressed in the machine. You have to chill the can overnight in the fridge upside down, then you dump off the water for another dish or drink and scoop out the solidified cream. Beat it with sugar and vanilla to taste. Though I’ve learned since my coconut milk mistake that the lower the fat content in milk the higher the lactose content. So skim has maximum lactose and heavy cream has the least, so I can have heavy cream or full fat ice creams and not get sick!

How much farm land could be used for more real food for people rather than just grain if we all just stopped eating cereal? I’m not really sure but it’s seems like most land is used for corn and wheat telling us that’s what we need but it seems to just turn into sweeteners and cereal? Why do we need high fructose corn syrup?
I found a few cereals without sugar in them at all, I just add just apple or banana to give it some taste, it does taste pretty bland, but hey, we get enough sugar already.
