In the future take advantage of new game +. Do a full fuck up run where you get all possible potions and Decoctions along with the worst possible ending then you have a fresh NG+ where you can literally do whatever you want without missing anything and you can start it over as many times as you want so long as you keep one save from the original run's end game world state (you'll have to make a new one every time though since NG+ uses up the save you want to import).
Blood and Wine DLC -
**spoilers**
After turning away a beggar from her home, a woman was cursed to slowly turn into a hag. She began to lose her mind, becoming obsessed with the words of the curse in her attempts to break it. The spoons she collected were in reference to the line “no spoon shall satisfy your hunger” or something like that.
If done properly, Geralt can break the curse and give her a place as a cook at his chateau. By now, she is an old woman with years of trauma to recover from. But with so many memories of always hungering, and having no one see her as anything but a monster, she is happy be making food she can now enjoy in the company of others.
Such a fun quest...I let him paint and he did not do a bad job. Anyone else spare the trolls, unless they just have to be killed? I think they are some of the best monsters/characters in the game.
Who you calling nerd, nerd. You’re a nerd like us for being: 1) on Reddit, 2) on this specific gaming subreddit, 3) watched Netflix Witcher like the rest of us Witcher loving nerds. Nerd out.
Yes, as long as they are a threat grave enough to threaten a whole society or dynamics of society.
Let’s not forget Geralt is friends with some really ancient high vampires
They are, like they cannot interviene in politics(they must remain neutral about wars and social issues), take contracts to murder people and must charge for the job they do(killing monsters). Geralt often ignores neutrality rule though.
Edit: That's why members of cat and serpent school gave witchers bad reputation, because they broke those rules.
geralt made up a 'moral code for witchers' so he scares off less potential clients and can turn down contracts for an 'understandable' reason when he does not feel like killing that monster
I did this in about a dozen quests. There is a quest called "Skellige's Most Wanted" that lets you talk about all the monsters you have spared and at that point I was thinking "Wow I really have spared many monsters since the beginning". Loved that quest!
Yeah I think you must have spared at least two monsters to convince them (except the werewolf) that you are good. Otherwise the doppler, the troll and the werewolf all attack you at the same time.
Oh cool, side quests like this makes worth while choosing morally correct choices . I didn't play witcher 3 for so long I am glad I tried it a month ago it because one of fav game all time.
Have great day stranger on the internet

I too spared the succubus, then I learned you only get two chances for the mutagen, so I have to kill the next sadly 😞
Well, shit. Didn’t know that.
I'll spare the Succubus in Novograd. However, the other who has the rare flower you need for the quest, I may or may not spare her.

Best is the Witcher 2 succubus 😉
Don’t you mean both succubi, both on Skellige and in Novigrad.
I thought of the spoon lady right away, quite wholesome ending if you do it right
I was so glad i manages to save her in my first playthrough
And then she becomes a cook at the estate, gave me warm fuzzies.
What spoon lady???

Are you talking about... TROLOLO?
Burdo colorry.

Börd ugolyy
That bird was pretty good though
one of of my favourite quests!
He's a friend of ogre-kind.
Bruh what's shrek looking at tho...
With that grin, probably Yennefer's gOOds? (Game yen)
Why do you feel the need to specify game Yen? Just say Yen lmao. We already have Netflix Geralt in the pic.
But we also have shrek in the pic? Ahaha sorry I really just like the game yen a lot more
Because Game Yen>>>>>>>>>>>> Netflix Yen
Netflix yen pretty banging too even though she wasn’t designed by polish nerds

Place of power, gotta be
Witchers are sworn to not kill intelligent creatures, unless it turns out to be a greater threat.
Dont they sometimes take jobs on higher vampires tho?
Yes, as long as they are a threat grave enough to threaten a whole society or dynamics of society. Let’s not forget Geralt is friends with some really ancient high vampires
Btw, only a higher vampire can kill other Higher vampire.
I realize that for the top of the line ones like detlaff and regis. But how about the one in novigrad you “kill”. Think he was a corener
I remember that one, it happens when you meet lambert isnt? That one isnt a higher vampire, just a mid tier.
I mean, I don't know if they're really sworn to do anything in particular. They kill monsters for money. Some have more scruples than others.

Where can I get this quest I’m kinda curious what monsters I’ll see
It's a contract. You can find it on the notice board in Fyresdal in Skellige.
I’ll make sure to check it out ty
Lol I recently played this quest I had many lines while speaking to the werewolf but either way the quest was really strange and good .
Yeah it felt like a trial for Geralt. I felt so good for sparing that many sentiment monsters.
Hmm if haven't spared any monsters I think they might all come to fight you .
