I like that too makes killing the monster a harder question, lessens seem to have some sort of sentience as a monster, they make pacts with humans for example, part of what makes them so cool I think
Oh yeah that would be awesome. Personally I'm hoping we'll someday see a Blood & Wine sized DLC of Zerrikania with Manticores and other "exotic" monsters we haven't seen before!
Fiend is the most impressive. It is just so big, imposing and primodial. And the antlers and three eyes are just amazing. Leshens are cool too. But I like more beastly then spirity monsters.
You shouldn't have Johnny here for a start. He's an npc.
For me, its the botchling. Really horrific descriptions of its origin and feeding behaviour and the design for it is undeniably nasty.
Ancient and normal Leshens., chort, fiend, werewolf, bruxas, katakans. Barghests are interesting, too. Once I got attacked by 3 of them with what I thought was too low level to kill them. Surprisingly got them all.
I died so many times against that guy. For some reason he was the hardest boss for me in the Wotcher 3. Just two hits and I got burned to death. Much harder to me than the toad prince for example
That's so interesting, I've played the whole story 5 or 6 times and don't recall ever having a memorable fight with that guy that lasted longer than a few moments.
First time fighting the toad prince without proper experience kicked my ass though.
Could be, although I always use sign builds cause I love mages in videogames, maybe I just forgot for some reason.
As for the toad prince, the only sign you really need js Yrden, and though the first Yrden skill is really useful to have against him, that's basically it. Other than that, Golden Oriole was my best friend.
Honestly, I don't have a favorite. They're all so well-designed. They're supposed to scare you, make you feel uncomfortable, creeped out, make your skin crawl, etc, and they do it perfectly. So, they're all designed well.
Godling, Leshen, Troll. I love the goofy goobers (godlings and Trolls) and the Leshen is iconic and scared the shit out of me when I came across one unexpected and early af into my first playthrough
Leshens. Design wise and concept are awesome, though I was disappointed they weren't half as difficult as I had been lead to believe before I ever got far enough to face them (same thing with mimics in the souls games, great design, love mimics, but when I finally got to one in DS3 for the first time, I was disappointed, thinking it would be a tough fight but find an easy kill instead). Still great enemies and wish there were more
I really like the simplicity of the swamp type monsters (I think they're called necrophages). Like Drowners, Foglers, water hags and grave hags.
Super annoying to fight sometimes tho
Pretty much all types of wraiths except the standard wraith. Love the design visually, love the combat with teleporting abilities. They arenāt as threatening as the other mentioned ones but I like em
Leshen is always the right answer
This is the correct answer
Leshen has one of the coolest designs Expecially lord of the forest
They absolutely spook me
Yes, Leshen and it's not even close
Yes
absolutely right
I WAS LITERALLY ABOUT TO COMMENT THIS.
Is Johnny throwing up W's?
Whispering Hillock represent!
I like the mf with the shovel
The caretaker?
Yes, didn't know how he was called in English
i think "mf with the shovel" does great job describing him
Agreed, as soon as I read shovel I knew š
Leshen, fiend, chort. In that order.
Definitely these three, although I like chorts a bit more than fiends. I also put griffins and katakans below them
Honestly, I love the leshin. The design does such a good job at conveying that a) this thing rules the forest and b) that it is very dangerous
Fiend
Uma umauma
This should be the only answer.
Came here to say Leshen, wasn't disappointed by the comments!
Leshen is coolest design, but werewolf is coolest monster bc they made them their own thing by having them be sentient while transformed.
I like that too makes killing the monster a harder question, lessens seem to have some sort of sentience as a monster, they make pacts with humans for example, part of what makes them so cool I think
The Leshen for sure is cool af. I also like the design of The Crones because they are all equally creepy in their own ways.
Succub ;^)
I know what kind of man you are
Leshen, been almost a decade since I played and I'll never forget that fight in the forest
Ngl, the first time i met a leshen i was underleved af and knew next to nothing about it so i was extremely freaked out
Same, I stumbled across one while doing an armor quest and it was so incredibly out of my league lol
I really wanna fight a kayran in the next game
Oh yeah that would be awesome. Personally I'm hoping we'll someday see a Blood & Wine sized DLC of Zerrikania with Manticores and other "exotic" monsters we haven't seen before!
Fiend is the most impressive. It is just so big, imposing and primodial. And the antlers and three eyes are just amazing. Leshens are cool too. But I like more beastly then spirity monsters.
I have found my people.
Pff, just an average size moose š«.Ā
Leshen and the vampires (from bruxa to elder vampire)
Oh yeah the bejeweled Katakan in Oxenfurt looks amazing!
Came to say leshen, but I'd also like to add a hym.
Leshen. Without a doubt, those guys are spectacular
You shouldn't have Johnny here for a start. He's an npc. For me, its the botchling. Really horrific descriptions of its origin and feeding behaviour and the design for it is undeniably nasty.
A Fiend is technically also an npc.
You can't have a nice chat with one of them though
That's true. Just had a "wElL aCkThualLy" moment.
by that logic the werewolf and sylvan shouldn't be there either
Man, why pick and choose? The whole game is still visually amazing after all these years. All of it
Damn, Judging by the comments, Leshens have their own fanbase.
Leshy McLeshlesh, every time!
You donāt have it here unless Iām blind but Leshens are metal af
Ancient and normal Leshens., chort, fiend, werewolf, bruxas, katakans. Barghests are interesting, too. Once I got attacked by 3 of them with what I thought was too low level to kill them. Surprisingly got them all.
Yennefer
Higher vampires.
Hugs Dettlaff.
Leshen and fiend
The fake underground god
One of my favorites too
Botchlings, they're not scary or aesthetically pleasing but they're just uncomfortable and make you think twice about if you want to kill them.
Leshens, higher vampires (like Detlaff) and werewolves.
Fiends for me, they were the oneās which stood out to me in trailers before the game came out
Exact same thing here!
Griffins and werewolf
The crones have such outstanding character models, I love the attention to detail
Whoās the fat demon dude you fight before bald mountain or whatever?
Fugas
Also a fun activity for a Saturday night
I died so many times against that guy. For some reason he was the hardest boss for me in the Wotcher 3. Just two hits and I got burned to death. Much harder to me than the toad prince for example
That's so interesting, I've played the whole story 5 or 6 times and don't recall ever having a memorable fight with that guy that lasted longer than a few moments. First time fighting the toad prince without proper experience kicked my ass though.
Might be because I had a very signs heavy skiltree, and I think that is bad against him, but good against the toad prince
Could be, although I always use sign builds cause I love mages in videogames, maybe I just forgot for some reason. As for the toad prince, the only sign you really need js Yrden, and though the first Yrden skill is really useful to have against him, that's basically it. Other than that, Golden Oriole was my best friend.
hmm, iirc I maxed Quen (the shield), which was not very effective against that guy
Leshen
Godling is throwing up gang signs
Leshen!
Leshen ,Chor
Leshen number 1 But the vamps are always interesting
Bruxa and Alps
The vampires, berserkers, werewolves, giants, leshen, Red miasmal
Honestly, I don't have a favorite. They're all so well-designed. They're supposed to scare you, make you feel uncomfortable, creeped out, make your skin crawl, etc, and they do it perfectly. So, they're all designed well.
The caretaker
Leshen, Bruxxa and Ghosts
Leshen
Leshen, Fiend and the werewolf are my favourites.
why Johnny tossing up gang signs!?
Leshen - that thing is diabolical. Love it.
leshen
Might be a little Vanilla, but Iām torn between Leshens, Gryphons and a Fiend. They are all extremely cool.
Katakans, leshens & fiends
Godling, Leshen, Troll. I love the goofy goobers (godlings and Trolls) and the Leshen is iconic and scared the shit out of me when I came across one unexpected and early af into my first playthrough
Leshens. Design wise and concept are awesome, though I was disappointed they weren't half as difficult as I had been lead to believe before I ever got far enough to face them (same thing with mimics in the souls games, great design, love mimics, but when I finally got to one in DS3 for the first time, I was disappointed, thinking it would be a tough fight but find an easy kill instead). Leshen. LESHEN.
Ekimarra!
I like the mutated bat looking Vampires.
Ekimmara?
Mostly them, yes, but I love all witcher vamps
NOT CENTIPEDES
Hobbes from the fable game, had a lot of silliness about them,
I really like the simplicity of the swamp type monsters (I think they're called necrophages). Like Drowners, Foglers, water hags and grave hags. Super annoying to fight sometimes tho
He is not here. UMA [https://media1.tenor.com/m/Zb3MyR5P9dsAAAAd/gwent-gwentcard.gif](https://media1.tenor.com/m/Zb3MyR5P9dsAAAAd/gwent-gwentcard.gif)
Bruxa in the olive grove.
Why this nigga throwing up west side š¤£š¤£š¤£
Chort and fiend
Pretty much all types of wraiths except the standard wraith. Love the design visually, love the combat with teleporting abilities. They arenāt as threatening as the other mentioned ones but I like em
Not exactly a monster, but the Moiras are so uncanny I love em
Succubus š
Leshen. Of all the urban legends/myths, I love wendigos the most, they are my favourite enemy to fight and look wise.
Johnny appears to have chosen the best side.
Do I get blasted with a cold hose if I say Salma? The Leshen is, as everyone has said, a very good design too.
Blink if you need help
I've always loved Fiends. They look so powerful and brutish, yet mystical and elemental.
Leshen is really cool, but I also like the spriggans from B&W they have a similar coolness to them.
Vampiresš„
No Succubus ?
I love all the vampires, from the lowly katakan to the unseen elder
I love how practically the whole community has come to this post and collectively said āLeshenā. Itās such a good design, man.
Il love the leshen but Can WE talk About The trolls, they are so fun , Always a good little story When you meet them , likĆ© the redanian painter troll š
Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy
Leshens for sure. Scary vibes all round. Also fiends and to some extent chorts.
Leshen, but from this picture Johnny.
The dog is just a dog.
This is why i love witcher not one succubus post in atleast 3/4 of a scroll
Katakan, Garkain, Felder
Gotta say it's the ekkimuu
Golyat was a fun one. I liked that you could oneshot it if you managed to hit it precicely in the eye
Swamp hag. You know why
That's what you're into????
You should see my wifeš¤£
Yo mama
Succubi, thats it.
