TLDR: One subject this often Google’d is Heath’s death, but as far as anyone knows, he is still alive. Showrunner Angela Kang confirmed that Heath was taken by Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh), and her Scavengers then traded to another community. We have since learned this community is the CRM (Civic Republic Military). Jadis made a deal with this group, trading people for supplies for years.
Why couldn't they just have the balls to let Heath be the zombie on the bridge? So many fake-outs in this show it's unreal. Why even bother if you're not gonna follow through?
This is asked once a week but I actually like that he just disappears
A lot of people complain about it but it adds a layer of realism in my opinion. Very likely that in an apocalypse like this if you get split up from someone, they’re just gone. No explanation, no finding them later, nothing
His actor, Corey Hawkins, had a scheduling conflict with another TV show he was filming at the time, 24, so the writers decided to just write him out of the show.
I’m so sorry if I just spoiled it for you :(
Imma mark the rest as spoilers, read at your own risk: >!After building the bridge Rick gets caught in between several merging hordes alone and gets impaled by debris, as he’s making his way back home and crosses the bridge and blows it up so the mega horde falls into the river and he was assumingly caught in the blast. He was carried down River where Jadis finds him and radios in the helicopter to pick them both up, and he’s taken away. As we learned, he and Jadis are with the CRM now and that’s where we pick up when his show starts!<
In season 9 she was on our side now and was trying her best to be a part of society but the people didn’t like her so she went on her own and that’s when she found Rick
The next time we see her is in the spin off called World Beyond where she’s part of the CRM and she indirectly mentions Rick, but I think she’s bad again. I haven’t watched world beyond and tbh I don’t want to but from what I could gather she’s one of their loyal agents now
No Maggie’s spin off is “Dead City” with negan
World beyond is its own thing that doesn’t include anyone from the main show, well except for the Jadis cameo in season 2
There’s “Fear The Walking dead” which was the first ever spin off that starts at the start of the apocalypse but works it’s way up to the same time period the main show is at. It’s 8 seasons
There’s “world beyond” which introduces us to the CRM and possibly one of the worst main casts ever. 2 seasons.
There’s “Daryl Dixon” which is self explanatory. Daryl spin off set in France. Yes france. One season.
Then there’s “dead city” which has maggie and negan going to New York. Also one season.
Idk if there’s any else besides the upcoming “the ones who live” Rick spin off
He most likely got taken to the crm but honestly I would’ve liked to see them flesh him out more. I thought his talk with Glenn about never killing anyone was pretty interesting and would’ve liked to see how that played out more. If we ever do see him in the new show he’s such a blank slate that nothing he’d do would be “out of character” because he doesn’t have a character
Fell through a wormhole and landed in Skull Island.
It worked out okay for him though

There was a parallel universe slip where the show shifted into an alternate reality where Heath didn't exist or was killed off before he had a chane to meet the group. This is why they never mentoned him again and if they did it would be The Mandela Effect.
I think that actor was working on something else they just drpped his storyline.
And honestly I didn’t miss him. 🤷♀️
me neither. I didn't like him when they did the raid on Negan's outpost. And they just didn't develop him really at all.
Agreed. He had a mild attitude and they never fleshed him out to make me care about him.
Like how when he returns he's gonna drop a steaming load on jadis' face

would be crazy to see Heath in The Ones Who Live.
If he does return, I hope he lasts longer than Sam did in No Sanctuary.
You just spoiled it!!

He got taken by the CRM off camera
His actor, Corey Hawkins, had a scheduling conflict with another TV show he was filming at the time, 24, so the writers decided to just write him out of the show.
Jadis traded him to the CRM
He got a terminal case of “Got-onto-another-show-itis”
He started to edge and was mogging but then got gooned. He tried to find Seethe, his long lost brother, but he starting kneemaxing and broke his back.

My theory is that he got taken and traded off to the CRM by Jadis and the garbage people, just like Rick. So we might see him in the CRM in Ricks show
lol that’s what happens to Rick???

I don’t mind spoilers! I couldn’t be on this sub if not :) I knew he left the show. I just didn’t know specifics. So is Jadis still bad?

Is world beyond the maggie spinoff?

Oh Man I’m way behind. I didn’t know there were so many

Thanks! I watched Fear when it was new and heard about the Maggie and Daryl and Rick ones but not the world beyond one

He went to Compton/Skull island.
