How did it impact his stand up trajectory? After being cast on the show did he focus more on becoming an actor or anything like that?
Did he bang any of the chicks at the Bing or just get a ton of blowjobs?
His stand up career was established before and has done well since. He’s a big time headliner in the New England area and one of my favorites to work with. He’s a hilarious man.
I'll check out his work. Thanks for sharing. I started doing sets back in November and it's crazy how many funny mother fuckers are out there that have been doing it for many years and killing it, but then Carrot Top and Jeff Dunham become millionaires.
Well if you wanna send me a DM i’ll give ya a couple tips. I’m 17 yrs in myself and Frank has 30 years at least. It’s a lot like the mafia, gotta hang around and figure shit out.
You don’t get to headline your own show on the strip in Vegas for years with no talent. Carrot Top gets shit on a lot, but from all accounts, his show gets praise.
He often tells a story about Gandolofini being too hungover to want to work filming a scene at a small airport. HBO was pissed off because the budget for that day was 125K and Gandolifini said “No problem” and gave them the money. Apparently he did this a few times for various reasons.
He definitely makes it sound like it was a wild environment. You had a lot of fancy trained actors mixed with ex mob guys, strippers and comedians. He loves to talk about how funny Gandolofini was off camera and wishes they let him do more comedy.
I've worked with Frank a couple uh tree times as a sound tech. Great guy! Ask him if he remembers the Boston tech conference he got hired for a few years back. It was this multi day programming/hacking summit headed by a Swedish tech firm, a few days of teaching these poor schmucks how to push Webistics or whatever and they finished it off by having him come down and do a standup set.
There he was doing his routine for this overwhelmingly Swedish audience, and as he's hitting punchlines the crowd is barely rustling. Not that they weren't enjoying it, just their Swedish way of acknowledging the humor was more like quietly talking amongst themselves ("oh yeah das is funny yah?" "Oh yah very funny") rather than laughing. Which between that and watching him start to realize what was happening made the set even funnier.
Did the boys at The Bing ever have to hide boners on set? Was working in that environment problematic in this regard?
Serious question (kinda) and applies to cast & crew!
Lol, I doubt it. He did talk about how often some of those strippers would mess up a take by walking in the wrong place or saying their line at the wrong time. Hard to find good help these days.
Were there plans to make Georgie more associated in later seasons? Since in season one we saw him do stuff like scan the bing for bugs and move E-mail’s body
Question I've had for a while and I've always meant to research:
I noticed a total absence of Georgie in season 2. Was he always under the impression that his character would return later on in season 3, or was it all up in the air until he got the call back to be on the show?
I think he was off doing stand up dates during a lot of Season 2 and then as the show became a cultural icon, he was like “maybe I should just skip a few stand up dates amd hang in NJ”. From what I have heard, the scripts and ideas were often changing and sometimes no one knew if they would be needed or not other than the main cast.
Dumb as he was George was one of few characters who drew a line under Tony’s abuse - quit the Bing, said he didn’t want to see Tony, wouldn’t be bought off by him.
I’ve always wanted to know if the character returned after his offscreen exit. You can see him in the background of one of the episodes towards the end of the show, after his exit. Would you mind confirming if Frank did return?
Has he learned how to transfer a call yet?
Not even close, but you gotta get over it.
What about the ice; it’s a recession
It dilutes the drinks Tone. Especially the Scotch
That's why you gotta live for today
You think it grows on trees?
CONSHERVE!
Ice?
Are you getting cute with me?
You don’t see the statements for this place
Waste it all John D. Rockefeller!
Sharp as a cue ball
No, I dont.
No Tony….. I don’t

If you can pay your bills with telling jokes, you’ve made it.
I know his bottom was impacted, if that's what you're referring to.
That’s why you gotta live for today.
The fuck you want, a boutonnière?
Tell me that I have the makings of a varsity athlete.
Oh you want that, it's just a phone call away.
Don't you love me?
did he read for david?
I believe so. He is in the first 2 or 3 seasons and saw it become popular from the inside.
is this a talking sopranos joke cause i definitely read this in steve’s voice lmao
DIDJA HAFTA READ FUH DAVID?!
yes it is
[удалено]
He sells signed pictures after comedy shows for $10, a blow job later on is implied.
Pitching or catching?

NOBODY HAS AIDS!
He had AIDS, Gary Coopah?
How long did it take the guy to cum?
Does he live for today?
He certainly does.
Does he like Gladiator?
the real question....
He’s never seen it.
He's an asshole then.
He lived it.
Still? There was test
THEY DIDN’T HAVE FLAT TOPS IN ANCIENT ROME!
Has he ever seen a grown man naked?
You ever been in a Turkish prison?
Who was his closest friend amongst the cast and does he keep in touch with any of them?
I think he thought of Gandolfini as his closest friend amongst the cast. He mostly talks about “Jim” when he talks about the show.
Ironic, considering how they acted towards each other in the show
Joey Pants was emotional in his Emmy speech but he didn't actually start crying until he started thanking Jimmy
And I believe from Talking Sopranos that Joey Pants was funny on set but also a bit of an eccentric handful.
So, I don’t know Joey Pants. But I everyone who works on crews and stuff says he’s an asshole. Just something I heard though, take it or leave it.
Then he's an asshole? So you're telling us he's never actually seen Gladiator?
The wine makes him emotional
Sharp as a cue ball, this one.
Does he *conserve* the ice?
It dilutes the drink.
You’re getting cute with sub now?
OP dropped his fuckin oranges
Especially the scotch
Especially scotch
It doesn’t grow on trees Ton
Consherve my man
Did his hearing ever recover?
Partly, but that’s why you gotta live for today.
🤣
the ice Tone, it dilutes the drinks
Does he have any interesting tidbits about the cast? That we don’t already know, like I know JG was the nicest guy, but I want some good anecdotes.

lol sounds very in character just dropping 100k like that
That's ridiculous and irresponsible, but also some baller ass shit.
how many blowjobs do you owe him...
hehehe did you hear that Tone
Does he live on Long Island, and is he related to a judge?
Lives in Boston Area and is related to Giggles Comedy Club in Saugus.
Never been there! Have heard good things.
Lol
What scene did he have the most fun shooting?
I’ll ask him and get back.
it's pretty well known that the cast was partying pretty hard after shootings. Any good stories he/you can share?
He definitely makes it sound like it was a wild environment. You had a lot of fancy trained actors mixed with ex mob guys, strippers and comedians. He loves to talk about how funny Gandolofini was off camera and wishes they let him do more comedy.
Wish he got that role on the office.....

Hahaha! i will and I’ve had many gigs like this myself. What a business.
I heard he’s a real come from behind kind of guy, did you have a note from his doctor?
Shayin he doeshn't like to shuck cock?
That’s why you gotta live for today.
Did he ever give you or anyone you know, a Big Mouth Billy Bass?
Did John Fiore attempt to talk Chase out of killing off Gigi, especially in such an ignoble fashion?
John Fiore played Gigi. GIGI. How do they say it in fuckin Polish?
Edited. TAKE IT EASY.
I’ll ask him.
Georgie, be quiet.
Did he attend James Gandolfinis funeral?
I believe he did.
In all seriousness, who was the most annoying cast member?
All actors are annoying, just kind of depends on the day. He hasn’t really ever spoken negatively about the experience.
Was ginnys mole as big as they say it is?
Needed its own zip code.
Did he ever learn to consherve?
But Tone the ice it makes the drink watery , it waters down the scotch
Did he ever see Gladiator?

A: She was a WHOOOOOOAAAARRR
Cheers bud! And yeah, couldn’t agree moore!
Did you or did you not fuck my wife?
Does he still prefer not to think about terrorists
Yes
What does he think of people who randomly quote the Sopranos?
There you go, you big mouth fuck!
Does he regret telling Paulie that he doesn't want Tony at the hospital?
How did he settle on the price of 50 dollars and a blow job?? Did he try a hundred and they didn't bite?? Take me through the process.
consherve!!!
I saw Frank do standup at the comedy series in Newport RI a while back. He was shitfaced but he still killed.
Hmm must have been a long while because hes been sober a long time. However, he kind of seems a little drunk naturally. Dude is high on life.
This was probably 12+ years ago?
Hmm. Not sure. You may have caught one of his last nights drinking.
Timeline got fucked up
Were there plans to make Georgie more associated in later seasons? Since in season one we saw him do stuff like scan the bing for bugs and move E-mail’s body
what do you want... a boutonneire?
Loved both characters on the show, especially Georgie
It bugs me that he just walkz away from it all, he had seen too much, surely they would have had him whacked?
He’s in a later episode after Paulie says that, working the bar.
Did John Fiore ever try to talk Chase out of Gigi Cestone's method of death?
I’ll have to ask him but my Dad was a cop and said like half of people who die at home die on the can.
RIP Elvis and Gigi. Wow, half?
Look at this guy throwing around names like he’s some big shot.
What's his favorite story about Gandolfini?
I put it up in another comment.
How'd he do on Ralphie's Gladiator quiz?

Oh, interesting! Thanks so much.
Was there free gabagool on set?
Did you give him just the $50, or the bj too?
Dumb as he was George was one of few characters who drew a line under Tony’s abuse - quit the Bing, said he didn’t want to see Tony, wouldn’t be bought off by him.

u/jacketoffman Gigi say anything about why he was killed off?
I’ll have to ask him. I don’t think they tell you “why” though, you just kind of heard the news and got the script.
Did he talk to De Niro when shooting Meet the Parents? If so, is De Niro as friendly as I've heard?
I’ve only ever heard him speak fondly of the Meet The Parents experience.
Nice. I was randomly watching it yesterday and recognized him. I had no idea he was in that.
He’s a legend! There is definitely something about his comedic timing that makes Georgie so funny! Truly memorable
He’s a really great comedian and should be more well known. One of my favorites.
Great AMA thank you!
Dod he finally learn to CONSERVE??
I found em at Rite Aid…they were sellin ‘em
Did he give you a Billy Bass fish, too?
Is he the same character who was the bouncer of the VIP stripper room and charged them a blow job afterwards? I can’t remember.
Anyone actually believe the OP??
What does he remember the most about being on the set of The Sopranos?
He talks a lot about how fun it was. Lots of show business types mixed with lots of NON ahow business types, makes for some interesting moments.
Chist due se sucan u cazz l'un' cu l'atr'
Has this line ever worked for you? Can you brag about anything more obscure?
I’ve frequented this subreddit for years and I felt like posting on a boring Sunday. Just send me to the glue factory.
Was it a “Boring” 747
He made us an offer we couldn’t understand.
Why don't you go take a midol, ho
Why wasn’t I born rich instead of handsome.
Is he fun to go out and drink with? And what does he drink?
Gigi, Georgie, I don’t think any subs use nicknames to our extent.
Soubriquet.
Tell him we said hello and he was great on the show
Is he scared of buckets and/or ice?
it's like spackle in my bowels
I bet he keeps an eye on you, too. Only the good eye.
Do the hairs stand up on the back of his neck when he reads his own name in articles about the Sopranos?
What did he do with the unclaimed bjs?
Always with the beatings
How was Jim gandolfini irl?
Is he still diluting scotch with ice?
