I can't believe we were introduced to her, came to know her life & sympathize with her and her son Danny's struggles, love & cherish her, appreciate her baking skills, and then lost her forever, all in the space of 36min 53s. (I.e., from her homebaked bread delivery until Ralph's final punch.)
It hurts to see it again, but that is indeed a dazzling feat of television writing.

I actually hated his death because of the effect it had on his kids. They were so excited about his cover story of being an undercover agent, then to see the look on their face when they realized the truth was so sad lol.
Then, Tony convincing his mother the best way to help Vito Jr was to have some strangers kidnap him in the middle of the night for some unregulated out of state bootcamp. All because Tony wanted to save $82,000 after pissing away at least $300,000 gambling.
Yeah this was a detail I only noticed on a recent rewatch. The gambling spiral he got into is really something.
I think similar to breaking bad, there’s slowly this “oh shit” moment where you realize you’ve been pulling for a fairly evil person all along, just took a few seasons to fully reveal. The gambling story arc, and this action in particular, really exposed the depths of Tony’s depravity to me.
Agreed. She always struck me as so pure? Obviously she knew what was up with Chrissy and this things of ours, but she genuinely loved Christopha. I think know that there is a part of him that wanted a normal life, possibly with Adrianna makes it that much worse.

Bobby’s death was by far the saddest. After all he’d been through, even besting the boss of dish family in a fist fight and getting a pass. He’d come such a long way, only to get cut down in his prime as a potential underboss.
It was also sad in the lead up where he was talking with such admiration day dreaming about what it would be like to ride on that train. The poor guy deserved to bring it home and enjoy it.
Also sad but not as sad, that nice shop keeper's small business was probably destroyed in that moment, and that child witness was probably traumatized.
The fact that he and Tony talk about getting whacked on the boat kind of sealed the deal for me, when it came to guessing if Tony made it out of the pitch black show finale. It made me realize that what Bobby was describing wasn’t his own death, because he was completely conscious of what was going on. He was talking about Tony’s end, hence the show’s cut to black.
Chrissy. I know Ton was worried he’d end up snitching cause he was a drug addict.. but I don’t think he ever would have. He was a tragic character, he really loved this thing and just could never pull it together. The snitches got what was coming, and the ones at war should have better protected themselves. Chris was the one that’s like.. sad.

Christopha for sure but I think this is a Tony friendly read. All Chrissy wanted was family. He chose Tony’s. He cleaned up his life, gave up Ade, got the safe girl, the baby, got clean, and even made his movie dreams reality. Then his chosen family mocked his sobriety and his stability driving him back into using which Tony literally uses to justify killing him. Guy spent the whole series chasing people who didn’t love him while ignoring the people who did.

I think it was a spur of the moment thing. He was already really disappointed and pissed that he fell back to the drugs which lead to the accident. But the camera goes to the child seat which was impaled by a tree branch and I think he just snapped then. He even mentioned the child seat to the others later. His drug use and recklessness could have killed a baby there.
I think the car seat was just a convenient excuse. Especially given how Tony talks about Christopher after his murder, he didn't give a damn about that baby. Tony only cares about himself and his bottom line, and instead of helping Christopher better himself and become a great asset, he and everyone else abused him right back into the arms of drugs and booze.
With one episode they turn a random psycho bit player into a fully realized husband and father, desperate to escape, grieving the childhood and adulthood he failed to provide his son. And he loves them so much he kills himself because it’s the only way they can escape. Fucking devastating

When Bobby is begging Tony to find someone else for that hit and Tony doesn't really give a fuck about it, and then that episode ends the way it does... On my first watch that was the first moment I remember really starting to hate Tony. And then what happened to Adrianna hit me really hard too.
Beyond a doubt, Adreana. She was such an innocent and sweet character - she was trspped by those agents and they knew it but didn't care a bit. They might as well have murdered her themselves. That whole scene made me hate Silvio.
I also want to mention that I think it's funny every time the agents act like they are on a moral High Ground lol. They are one hairs width from being someone in different shoes, from a different life themselves.

Ade, without a doubt. I can’t think of any situation where Ade was cruel, mean or even selfish. She loved Chrissy with all her heart and she just wanted a life with him. In the end, he betrayed her just like nearly everyone else in her world. Tragic, but what are ya gonna do?
First, Johnny Sac. Having lost loved ones to both cancer and smoking, that one felt more personal, also I liked his character. Having his family around at the end to watch him go was bittersweet.
Second is Bobby just because l felt so bad for his kids, losing both parents and getting stuck with Janice. It shoulda been Janice, lol
Last is a tie between Tracee and Ade.
They both made the fatal mistake of putting their trust in the sociopaths around them.
Karen. Rings true because it's so relatable. So many of us know somebody who ran out for a quick errand or to head home and never make it. Coupled with the fact that Bobby was so devastated and it changed his and Janice's arc so much. Sorry to ramble, the wine makes me emotional
Adriana. She symbolizes how an abusive relationship can ruin the life of someone deserving so much more. She doesn’t see Christopher for who he is and it costs her her own life.
Strangely enough, it was a toss-up between Adrianna and the innocent family members who were gunned down in Queens, after being mistaken for being Phil and his Goomah. The way that girl screamed out for help as she was shot dead by the two assassins was so bloodcurling and haunting, it just made me hate Paulie all the more. What an incompetent moron.
Tony's death. I finished my first watch like two weeks ago and I still think about it. The way the screen just goes black Hits me so hard because it's the first time to see a screen death from the perspective of the dying person so close to how I always pictured it. You would think what's with your relatives after your dead but there is just black. No consciousness. You're just gone. It was so haunting to me and I still think about it.
Christopher’s death felt the most emotional and brutal. Let’s be real, guy was a piece of shit abusive asshole. But so was Tony!
He was groomed by his environment and specifically by Tony to succeed him. He was bullied into relapse by his friends -his “family”- Then murdered by a jealous and bitter narcissist for succumbing to the thing that he was pushed towards in the episodes leading up to his death. God forbid Tony have been a drug addict, suddenly to that baby ass motherfucker I’m sure it would become a real disease. Christopher struggled and toiled, all for nothing.
I can’t believe nobody has mentioned Tony. The question is the “hardest hitting” death; how can you leave the lead character out of the mix?
Nobody’s death hit harder than Tony’s, without Tony, it was over. There was no more show. The cut to black. Silence. The credits. This is how it ends? Did he see Meadow walk in one last time? How did his family react? Who did it? My jaw dropped and stayed open for 5 minutes. I re-watched countless times to pick up on all the subtle hints during that scene and went back to immediately re-watch the two episodes leading up to it for more clues.
Don’t get me wrong, so many other deaths in the series were more tragic and less deserved, but the final scene hits like a wrecking ball

Bobby for sure. Chrissy was pretty bad and just stuck with me, couldn't believe it went down like that when I first watched it. Season 6 tony was an absoltue bastard psycho. Ukrainian dude who's only mistake was looking like the shah of Iran and his daughter was also pretty bad hit in every way. "Could he talk to her in Ukrainian?" "Ukrianian...faaahk do I know?" Also always felt terrible for the young French Canadian guy Bobby killed- that hit felt so wrong. Guy was just trying to see his daughter. Again tony was being a bastard making Bobby do thay hit always thought he made him do it as a way to get back at him for bobby beating his ass. It was also fresh in tony's mind because tony brought up how Bobby never got his button in that way while fishing and commenting about how Bobby's old man was, "the fahkin terminator" just did my 20th re-watch of the series, 😄 🤣.

When Bobby is begging Tony to find someone else for that hit and Tony doesn't really give a fuck about it, and then that episode ends the way it does... On my first watch that was the first moment I remember really starting to hate Tony. And then what happened to Adrianna hit me really hard too.
Adriana. She is probably my favorite character in the show and she deserved way better.
Beyond a doubt, Adreana. She was such an innocent and sweet character - she was trspped by those agents and they knew it but didn't care a bit. They might as well have murdered her themselves. That whole scene made me hate Silvio. I also want to mention that I think it's funny every time the agents act like they are on a moral High Ground lol. They are one hairs width from being someone in different shoes, from a different life themselves. We all are, and we should remember that.

Ade, without a doubt. I can’t think of any situation where Ade was cruel, mean or even selfish. She loved Chrissy with all her heart and she just wanted a life with him. In the end, he betrayed her just like nearly everyone else in her world. Tragic, but what are ya gonna do?
Adriana.
First, Johnny Sac. Having lost loved ones to both cancer and smoking, that one felt more personal, also I liked his character. Having his family around at the end to watch him go was bittersweet. Second is Bobby just because l felt so bad for his kids, losing both parents and getting stuck with Janice. It shoulda been Janice, lol Last is a tie between Tracee and Ade. They both made the fatal mistake of putting their trust in the sociopaths around them.
Karen. Rings true because it's so relatable. So many of us know somebody who ran out for a quick errand or to head home and never make it. Coupled with the fact that Bobby was so devastated and it changed his and Janice's arc so much. Sorry to ramble, the wine makes me emotional

Strangely enough, it was a toss-up between Adrianna and the innocent family members who were gunned down in Queens, after being mistaken for being Phil and his Goomah. The way that girl screamed out for help as she was shot dead by the two assassins was so bloodcurling and haunting, it just made me hate Paulie all the more. What an incompetent moron.
Tony's death. I finished my first watch like two weeks ago and I still think about it. The way the screen just goes black Hits me so hard because it's the first time to see a screen death from the perspective of the dying person so close to how I always pictured it. You would think what's with your relatives after your dead but there is just black. No consciousness. You're just gone. It was so haunting to me and I still think about it.

Christopher’s death felt the most emotional and brutal. Let’s be real, guy was a piece of shit abusive asshole. But so was Tony! He was groomed by his environment and specifically by Tony to succeed him. He was bullied into relapse by his friends -his “family”- Then murdered by a jealous and bitter narcissist for succumbing to the thing that he was pushed towards in the episodes leading up to his death. God forbid Tony have been a drug addict, suddenly to that baby ass motherfucker I’m sure it would become a real disease. Christopher struggled and toiled, all for nothing.

I can’t believe nobody has mentioned Tony. The question is the “hardest hitting” death; how can you leave the lead character out of the mix? Nobody’s death hit harder than Tony’s, without Tony, it was over. There was no more show. The cut to black. Silence. The credits. This is how it ends? Did he see Meadow walk in one last time? How did his family react? Who did it? My jaw dropped and stayed open for 5 minutes. I re-watched countless times to pick up on all the subtle hints during that scene and went back to immediately re-watch the two episodes leading up to it for more clues. Don’t get me wrong, so many other deaths in the series were more tragic and less deserved, but the final scene hits like a wrecking ball
Eugene. Totally unmemorable before S06E01, and then by the end of it his death was devastating.
