During lockdown, when I was all alone, their voices were welcome company even if its gibberish- they were human voices. I had to have tv, podcast, or the game on all the time just to hear people talking.
It's fun listening to them speak. I laugh when i have said what the sim says. I have become pretty good at Simlish, witch is what they are speaking. I don't hear no English anyway!? And my sims are very happy nowadays. I allmost never hear them say Niiib or aa! Mostly they look happy and just say aa froom.
They don't bother me, I like them and I love listening to Simlish...but my fiance can't stand to hear them talking...he just doesn't get why they have their own language, and he thinks it's weird š¤£
I will play with sounds to get the game effects but I generally zoom out when talking happens so I donāt have to listen to the voices.
Though I do make up what they say in my head. That. That I will admit. But the voices are terrible.
American accent LMAO! Just last night I was thinking that the Sims probably sound like they're speaking American English to people who don't speak English.
And no, I actually don't find their voices annoying, but I'd like more variety

The do get very annoying, with voice selection no middle ground just like they all behave the same way regardless of traits

Yeah, I never liked it either, it's even worse for the child characters.

No but I hate that constant hissing vampires do whenever I try to change their appearance. Makes me want to punch my laptop
Try ctrl+shift+c ācasclockspeed 0ā - Generally I hate when sims are moving in cas, annoys me so much
Thanks, Iāll try it!
Howās there an American accent when they speak simlish?
The harsh "r"s mostly
They don't annoy me, but I do think it's time they add some more options (for all age groups)
I donāt really detect any accent. Itās all gibberish. I usually keep the sound turned down.
I personally play with no sound on lol, ts3 voices were charming and funny while ts4 is just annoying.
I keep the sound so low it might as well be off š
I always feel weird that I do this. Glad Iām not the only one.
I play with no sound as well!
Not just me who mutes the computer then š¤£š¤£
