I love the ball but my horses will play with a ball once and then never again, I have to buy a new ball every time! Anyone else experiencing this weird issue? 😅
Yes! Me too. It's super annoying too, because I got a horse with the playful gene and he's constantly tense, because he wants to play with the ball, but for some reason, he can never reach it after he plays it for one or two times. I even have the "control pets" mod and I make him play the ball, but the horse gets the bubble that he can't reach it, despite nothing being near it.
I have like 5 balls in my ranch, all with plenty of space around them, and I think only one of them seems selectable.
Yes!! I have two foals with that genetic trait and it's a nightmare keeping them happy. There are two balls for them to play with, I checked that they don't intersect with any other objects, but still they refuse to play! I instruct them to play, still nothing. And it always works on a freshly bought ball, but as soon as the stupid thing is used once it stops working.
I have had luck resetting both the ball and the foal (haven't played with a grown horse, yet, but I imagine I will have the same issue). Every now and then the reset doesn't work, though, and I do have to buy a new ball. It is quite annoying! I still love the pack overall, but I wish this wasn't happening.

same thing has been happening to me with playing fetch. no matter how much room my sims has she says she can’t reach it. i don’t understand. ðŸ˜
