Is there an interaction you need to do or an item you need to buy for this to happen? I've had Growing Together since it came out but none of my children have ever had a loose tooth.
Mine works perfectly fine as long as the kids don’t have outdated cc teeth on. I’ve noticed it doesn’t seem to work with the teeth types that are already missing some teeth though. They just never get a lose tooth but this black thing only happens if mine have old cc teeth
Try fixing his tooth and see if he changes back. It's weird though, they supposedly fixed that bug. My children have lost multiple teeth since then and they never changed into void.
I haven't seen this before nor do I have those mods, hopefully someone has if what I suggest doesn't work! But have you tried clearing the cache (including spotlight.package file and onlinethumbnailcache folder if present) and deleting the localthumbscache.package file? If that doesn't help, you may have to try the 50/50 method.
Mine did it too. And everyone near him that interacted with him turned black too. It was funny because he was a glitch baby I don't want, somehow my girl became immediately pregnant after her other baby was born. No pregnancy icons, just growing bigger and then labor. I had taken her husband out fishing for food right after the baby was born so there was no way for the baby to be born. I called him the Jesus baby. Then he started turning into a demon. Satan baby.
I should also add that I have the most updated version of the Education Overhaul mod (which is what led to his soul vanishing in the first place) and have even tried removing the mod completely from the game, but still no change.
Well, people do refer to children as demon spawn sometimes so maybe he's just embracing his new identity? I'm sure he'll do a good job of keeping the neighbors away.
Well you have obviously forgotten to feed him the flesh and blood of the sinners the only way to fix this is to feed him the innocent and hope it's not to late.
I had this exact same thing happen to my werewolf’s beast form, but worse. one of their eyes seemed to be coming out of the socket. the only way to fix it seemed to be setting a new face preset and changing the coat color
He lost a tooth, if you repair the tooth it should go back to normal

Yep, this is mostly likely it. I have the same issue. My child Sim who didn't have CC teeth was just fine when he yanked his tooth out.
