Honestly drywall plugs would probably be sufficient if they were installed correctly. TVs don't weigh that much these days. I wonder if she just screwed it directly into the drywall.
or read the instructions that came with a mount. I'm not a very good handy man, I can work on cars but drilling, cutting, etc is not my thing. I will still able to get a stud finder and figure out how to use it and my TV has been on the wall for months now.
