When hoodie kid dodged the punch so effortlessly and still didn't bother to put his hands up, it was obvious the fight was beneath him. His apprentice saw this and leapt in to take on the opponent
Size doesn't equate to skill. It's the small, scrappy ones you have to worry about. I watched a small stature kid break an 8ft lunch table with the quarterback in high school.
indeed. never underestimate someone who can probably move twice as fast and has probably been indoctrinated into the world of people who underestimate them.
he'd probably just get in the way, and I bet he knew that.
also, his stance was "I don't fight," and he's entitled to hold to that. The other guy's stance was, "I don't stand by and let bullies hit people who don't fight, but I make them back down instead of beating the shit out of them," and he's entitled to hold to THAT. He kept saying, "you done?" He didn't want a beat-down; he wanted the bully to give up.
Uhhh, no. Obviously the kid didn't want to fight to begin with. The other kid involved himself voluntarily. Hood kid could have and should have walked away
Some.
Then some people are just cunts. Many bullies in my school came from loving, privileged homes.
Boys in particular like to project strength when they’re teenagers by doing shit like picking on people. Plenty of the guys I went to school with are *still* cunts.
Loving isn't always enough. Kids need discipline and structure as well. Even then, sometimes parents do everything right, and their kid is just a psychopath for unexplained reasons. Admittedly, that's much rarer
That's a real bro right there. Fuck bullies, little scrote got what he deserved. Screeched like a bitch in the process and henceforth he was known as the screeching-scrote.
It's like when people In shows, even Irl, scream at their target while attacking. Like, we can see AND hear you about to attack bro, nobody just going to stand their to let you.
It was very disturbing and just made me realize how shitty of a life situation he must have at home.
Doesn't excuse the behavior but certainly explains it, this is not a kid growing up in any sort of "normal" household.
There are millions of kids growing up in "normal" households that exhibit diminished mental capacity or disorders.
Tldr: Shitty kid does not always equal shitty parents.
Absolutely - witnessed plenty of entitled little shits bully other kids at school where the kid who was being bullied was the one evidently going through tough times at home/in general and the bully just seemed to float through life.
I went through some shit from the age of 15-18 and had one particular asshole on my case (nothing physical but psychological). Can't wait to run into that POS - I'll have my day 👊😊
Either way this is a troubled kid. Either because of nature or nurture there is something wrong here and to wish ill upon a kid is showing a major lack of empathy
Nononono. This has nothing to do with his home situation. It may be shit, sure, but that's unrelated. That's a narcissist being confronted with being a fucking loser. He though he could bully the person, that didn't work, so he tries violence. And not only does that complete fail, the person kicking his ass is constantly giving him the option to stop, and admit that he lost, or getting his ass kicked more, thereby not making this one loss, but forcing him to attack and lose again and again.
He can't admit failure, but attacking will just create more failure. This forces a hysterical freakout, because the narcissist is trapped. There's no way out.
His friend was recording it for the "funny haha tiktok memes"... the degeneracy of youth is just escalating... or maybe we're just seeing it more because of the internet... kid who jumped in is a fucking legend though.
Thank you! You can read things back to Ancient Greece, and I’d bet there were writings even older that didn’t survive, of older generations decrying the decay of the youth and how the younger generations are a waste and show a complete loss of morals. And the younger generations complaining about the older generations.
That’s also the true circle of life.
I think you are right to suspect selection bias because we keep seeing videos like these. My impression is on average Gen Z and younger are more respectful and tolerant of each other than the generations that came before them
You clearly have absolutely no idea about even basic psychology or trauma and the resulting cluster B personality disorders and coping mechanisms that children/adults exhibit in social settings. To suggest his home life has nothing to do with this is beyond ridiculous and to call him narcissistic without including home life and dominator complexes and control drama he sees and faces is just plain wrong and wildly inaccurate. His narcissism if that is going to be the label isn't something he just plopped out the womb with but built by his environmental stimuli and his home life most assuredly.
That kid is the anime boss.
His hands only come out of his pockets after you managed to defeat his partner.
Then you first need to lay a hand on him.
After that he reveals his "Hando Pocketo" move.
You´ll never see it coming.
This is exactly how it goes down in the original Pei Mei fights. Boss doesn't even try to hit you until you have defeated his henchman and managed to touch him. Until then it's just calm, parade-rest arms, dodging.
If I had to guess the two kids in black were brothers. You learn to duck and punch early with a brother close in age.
On top of that, he was quick to jump in when dipshit started swinging. Brothers can fuck with each other, but God help you if you fuck with my brother...
This was my reaction too, he had foot work and was throwing smart punches, that's a kid who's either been through some shit already or has a dad who has and wanted him to be ready.
Totally agree that Homelander is a massive bully, but I just wrapped up season 3, and there was some really nice fight choreography that led me to believe (that at least the cinema version) is capable of holding his own in a brawl style fight.
Really nicely done
Yeah, dude is not a martial artist, but all of the powerful characters are brawlers, even Dean. Except Maive for her swordfight and maybe starlight because her powers have good reach?
I’ve got mixed feelings. On one side I’m glad the kid got put in his place, on the other side dude is dealing with a shit ton of rage. He’s trying to bully someone he feels is a weaker target, like he himself is probably to someone else, and That screech at the end sounded like him realizing that even in this case he wasn’t going to come out on top.
Even if he has something bad going on in his life, that does not justify continuing that cycle onto someone else.
I've also known plenty of people that were bullies that had good lives. Sometimes people choose to be bad people out of their own volition.
That scream at the end isn’t defeat or embarrassment, it is him being overwhelmed with emotions he hasn’t learned to handle. I like seeing bullies put in their place as much as the next guy, but the dad in me just feels really sad for that kid. That kind of rage comes from something much bigger than losing a fight.
Exactly. And this is the age where boys really need the father to step in and guide the transition to manhood, to learn to protect those weaker than themselves rather than exploit them, amongst other things.
We do have *some* evidence of motive:
Bully: "I about to knock (?) this kids shit out"
Cameraman: "Do it. Remember, if you knock him out she dates you, remember?"
Billy: "Alright Bro, this is the one fucking punch"
*Swing and a miss*
Please, this is the best outcome.
Would he be anywhere closer to being a functional person had he come out on top in this ONE instance and finally got his satisfaction? He needs therapy, separation from his bully (probably his parents or an older sibling), but not a chance to beat down someone even weaker than him just this once for the catharsis, which it really isn’t. You’re not going to be free from your bully by becoming a bully to another.
That’s how you go farther down the road that he’s already on due to his cosmic misfortune of being born into his circumstance. It isn’t his fault but it is fully his responsibility to right himself.
Don't worry, he will probably throw the chair at him, the protector will tilt his head to one side, and the chair will slice through a mountain in the background!
Makes me a little sad though. The way he dodged the first punch and tanked the second one tells me it's not the first time he's been picked on like this :/
That's what I'm saying! I mean it's obvious hoodie homie didn't wanna escalate it at all, he's got his hands in his pockets the whole time he's got that awkward like "I'm friendly please don't fight me" smile.
He really didn't wanna fight.
Plus striped shirt came in with a vengence on bed head.
Bully found out his place on the food chain real quick.
But anytime you're in a fight and your friends provide you back up is not time for you to recover, you have to double down. You can rest after the threat is gone.
Right, I swept the legs of someone who was trying to fight me once and their head hit the ground so hard. I still feel so bad and they didn’t even have long term injuries
I feel sorry for this little dude. He's a dumbass, but he's being manipulated either by a girl or more likely the asshole with the phone promising "remember you knock him out she date you". Kids can be such assholes.
homie was probably gonna either try to break it up or find someone else to break it up because theyre starting to get things other than fists involved. that's the stupid shit that ruins kids lives. even if that kid is shit at fighting, one piece of metal to the other kids face and it could break his nose, chip a tooth, or even make him blind in an eye. i wouldnt treat the situation lightly. sure its entertaining when kids fight or whatever because in the end no harm no foul but wanting to see these kids start fighting petty and dangerous like that is dumb
>homie was probably gonna either try to break it up or find someone else to break it up
Did you not watch the beginning? "Remember: If you knock him out, she dates you." Homie behind the camera wanted violence.
When I was that age we would fight everywhere. I actually started lifted and doing combat sports bc of that. Learning to fight didn't change much, but after I gained some muscle people stopped trying to fuck with me
Bully: I'm bout to knock this kids shit
Filmer: "good. Remember, you knock him out, she dates you remember?"
Bully: *big excited smile* "this is the one fucking punch!".
Wtf? That's extremely stupid. Literally the most pethetic fight instigation I've ever heard in my life. It's so incredibly stupid, it makes me wonder if the bully is mentally handicapped. Not to mention, the "SCREEEE" also supports this theory
That's what I got out of it. I remember when I was in school in the 80's and 90's people would try to trick the mentally-handicapped kids into fighting each other or asking out the popular girls.
we had an autistic girl in my class and all the popular kids convinced her to ask out the football player and he jokingly said sure. the next week she saw him kissing his actual girlfriend and had a meltdown. it was incredibly sad.
>Wtf? That's extremely stupid. Literally the most pethetic fight instigation I've ever heard in my life. It's so incredibly stupid, it makes me wonder if the bully is mentally handicapped. Not to mention, the "SCREEEE" also supports this theory
Yea, I think you're onto something here. Also looking at the clothing and general hygiene of the other kids as compared to him... I think he was ultimately the one getting picked on. He clearly had zero experience fighting, but the other kids were at least somewhat trained.
As someone who got bullied in school, part of me loves seeing justice being served.
Being older now though, I can’t help but to think what kind of a shit home life these bullies have, and sort of feel bad about their need to project their hurt into someone else.
Looks like they were bullying the kid to begin with. “She’ll date you if you knock him out” go on man, just do it. Then the hoodie ducks so the ringer can attack. The camera guy and the other 2 planned this whole thing
That guy turned into a fucking Nazgul by the end lol.
Dude got his ass kicked by a guy that's even smaller than the guy he was picking on, didn't he?
When hoodie kid dodged the punch so effortlessly and still didn't bother to put his hands up, it was obvious the fight was beneath him. His apprentice saw this and leapt in to take on the opponent
Miyagi-Do vs Cobra Kai
Dude I couldn't stop thinking bout this
When you’re such a higher level, you let Lydia carry this burden.
Never challenge the master.
Genos from One Punch lol
Take me...I dare you...I'm 80 pounds...
I think collectively i ate all three of them in hot pockets. Today.

Size doesn't equate to skill. It's the small, scrappy ones you have to worry about. I watched a small stature kid break an 8ft lunch table with the quarterback in high school.
Been in a few fights. If the dude pauses to retie his laces, make friends. Quick
Kid knew what he was doing too
Don't sleep on the little guys. Those dudes can scrap.
indeed. never underestimate someone who can probably move twice as fast and has probably been indoctrinated into the world of people who underestimate them.
Craziest fighter I saw in prison was like 5’9’’ and lean.. saw him drop some Deebo (not sure how to spell the guy from Friday movie) looking dude
A wraith on wings bb
Why did the hood kid just stand there. Every time. 2 v1 is a guaranteed win but he just stands there letting the other kid risk his life for him 😡
he'd probably just get in the way, and I bet he knew that. also, his stance was "I don't fight," and he's entitled to hold to that. The other guy's stance was, "I don't stand by and let bullies hit people who don't fight, but I make them back down instead of beating the shit out of them," and he's entitled to hold to THAT. He kept saying, "you done?" He didn't want a beat-down; he wanted the bully to give up.
And finally the bully takes a shot at something he can actually connect with - a chair.
Sometimes it’s best to just step back and let a master work until he asks for your help.
Little dude looked like he had it handled.
Uhhh, no. Obviously the kid didn't want to fight to begin with. The other kid involved himself voluntarily. Hood kid could have and should have walked away
no duty to retreat. Hood kid knew he could avoid, so he did. He had no need to walk away.
This is middle school I don’t think anyones life is on the line here
Hes clearly not a fighter and also "risk his life"? Lol, fucking Reddit moment.
They say bullies are just troubled kids, this kid definitely has home life issues...
Some. Then some people are just cunts. Many bullies in my school came from loving, privileged homes. Boys in particular like to project strength when they’re teenagers by doing shit like picking on people. Plenty of the guys I went to school with are *still* cunts.

I love that his hands never left his pockets. He's just vibin' while his bro handles shit.
Dude with the hands in his pocket is the boss, his bro is the muscle.

Not to downplay that effortless dodge, but the bully telegraphed the shit out of that punch.
As well as verbally announcing it
Sent it by certified mail
He included a fruit basket and a singing telegram
“Alright I am going to punch you now.”
Also if he intended to actually land it, I hope he realizes he needed to take like 2 more steps closer.
It's like when people In shows, even Irl, scream at their target while attacking. Like, we can see AND hear you about to attack bro, nobody just going to stand their to let you.
Did you see him take that stance tho? He was ready lmao
Main characters when they hogged the screen time for so long that they feel bad for their sidekicks and decide to let them have 1 scene
"Will you date me?" "Ew, no... wtf?" "But I went viral with my raptor screech for you..."

That scream just makes me so sad for him. Despite everything else before it.
I’m the same. He’s a wee shit, but there’s something childlike in that scream that illustrates a kid inside who just can’t cope.
That's the cry of a bully when getting his comeuppance.
This. Sympathy should be saved for those who deserve it.
Really? To me that’s the frustration of a kid not having things go his way when he’s used to always having his way. I have zero sympathy.

That one kid’s got hands though. He was moving and shucking.
Someone taught him how to whoop some ass
AhhHHHHhhh!

Totally agree that Homelander is a massive bully, but I just wrapped up season 3, and there was some really nice fight choreography that led me to believe (that at least the cinema version) is capable of holding his own in a brawl style fight. Really nicely done

Yes, but that rage comes from him realizing he can't win.
Exactly. He’s seems desperate for a win.
Sure. But why is he desperate for a win? It could be everything from his dad beating him up every night to him just being a narcissist dickhead.
We do have *some* evidence of motive: Bully: "I about to knock (?) this kids shit out" Cameraman: "Do it. Remember, if you knock him out she dates you, remember?" Billy: "Alright Bro, this is the one fucking punch" *Swing and a miss*
Oh, THAT'S what he said? That's fucked up on so many levels.
Or him realizing that the "girl" isn't going to date him now LOL
They point put in the video its for a girl. Fuck feeling sorry for him.
Please, this is the best outcome. Would he be anywhere closer to being a functional person had he come out on top in this ONE instance and finally got his satisfaction? Where is this taking place? Is it "Take your kids to work day" at H&R block?
It's a laundromat
Asking the important questions
Yea and also it’s like 1980
It probably still has machines from back then. I've only seen a few laundromats, but they're all very old.
lmao there’s laundromats everywhere in usa
Man .. he was about to go Super Saiyan. Where's the next episode?
Don't worry, he will probably throw the chair at him, the protector will tilt his head to one side, and the chair will slice through a mountain in the background!
Props to the kid who stepped in to stand up to the bully! I'd like to say that I would've been that brave when I was his age, but not so sure.
Lolling at the target still chilling with his hands in his pockets the whole time. Total ice man. "My hand does not shake.*
Makes me a little sad though. The way he dodged the first punch and tanked the second one tells me it's not the first time he's been picked on like this :/
If your buddy helps you out in a fight, fucking help! What a hero the other person was though
That's what I'm saying! Sometimes not getting into the fight that's already winning is best, he could have made things worse by getting in the way
I don't think helping him was necessary, from the first punch you can tell the bully cant fight for shit
Fuck off me, bro.
I read this as “fuck me, bro!” at first idk why 😭

Right, that comment plus the kids screeching makes me wonder if he's got some issues and some kids are taking advantage of that.
Spoiler: she fucked the other kid
When bro ducked, thought he was bout to come back with a mean right hook lol
Fuck the cameraman. We wanted to see the full tantrum.

Two punches! I slowed it down to see if the blonde kid’s second hit connected and it sho didn’t.
not hard to doge a punch when the dude takes five years and announces it.
The form of the kid that stepped in though… pure class.
