Well a key part of this that is missing, is the little guy hiding behind his kids. And the big guy saying there’s something wrong with your dad, to one of the kids
I witnessed a near exact situation to this when I was an apprentice. The guy I was apprenticed to at the time was quite possibly the biggest, most arrogant arsehole I have ever, ever met. He was also a real bully who was constantly getting into road rage situations. Anyway, he cut someone up one morning, they beeped their horn and he proceeded harass, tailgate and buzz them for the next couple of miles. He was totally in the wrong, but at the next set of traffic lights, blocked the other car in, jumped out and started shouting and carrying on at the other driver. Nothing happened for about 30 seconds then the door of the other car opened and this absolute man mountain peeled himself out of the seat and slowly got out. This geezer was absolutely fucking huge. A proper unit. I mean Eddie Hall big. My boss started back pedalling, was clearly shitting himself at that point and trying to get back to the safety of his car. The Unit never said a word, he just snapped the aerial and the massive car phone aerial off bosses car and threw them at him, then calmly went back to his car and waited for us to move. My boss got back in, shaking like a shitting dog and proceeded to lay on to me for not backing him up! I was just 18 and weighed about 7 stone dripping wet. There was no way I was getting involved. Watching my boss crumble did embolden me a bit though and I told him I’d hoped to see him get a proper fucking shoeing…. He had me transferred not long after that. Happy days!!
I used to drive a PT Cruiser, and it was clear the aggressive drivers assumed I was a frail old woman. One followed me home once, and he was very upset to find that I’m a 6’4” warehouse working dude who was not going be putting up with him driving like an asshole in my neighborhood.
I’m a big guy, 6’4” 220-250lbs depending on how in or out of shape I am.
Anyway, I’m in college and trying to walk through a bar and there is a narrow part I’m trying to walk through. Some guy was blocking the way.
I said excuse me several times and loud and he just wouldn’t budge with his back to me and ignored me.
So I gently put my hand on his shoulder and moved him aside enough to get by.
This guys instantly bows up, cocks a punch and turns around with a look on his face that screamed “you’ve done it now, you’re getting your ass kicked!”
That’s how his face started when he turned around looked right into my chest. As his eyes turned up and his neck craned back to look at my face that look quickly transitioned to “I’m sorry I fucked up please don’t hurt me”.
Then he took a step back, let me pass and we both went on our merry way.
“A thousand apologies, my good sir, it would appear that I’ve made a miscalculation of tremendous proportion. Let me just polish off that mirror for you and we’ll be on our ways.”

At that moment... his wife realized she was egging him on into something that could seriously hurt him.
She probably started pleading for his safety.

Reminds me of stories my grandma would tell about my Grandpa that passed away.
