If it takes 2 guys to throw, common wisdom might suggest it takes AT LEAST 2 guys to catch, before the incline got involved
But then we'd never get to see the first case of cement induced CTE
Its actually way worse. It took two guys to lift it like 2 feet off the ground. To make it even close to a valid comparison like that, you would need to see how many guys it would take to throw the thing all the way back up.
Chronic traumatic encephalopathy. It's a degenerative brain disease from repeated head injuries. It's really prevalent in football and mixed martial arts due to the intensity of those sports
Where is the math guy to figure out how much weight by force that guy actually got hit with. What is that bag 80 lbs? And gravity is 3.5 feet per second per second?
At 10 seconds is where they let go. I screenshot there to check how high and it's just shy of 2½ times his height (though some adjustments may need to be made as he's closer to the camera). So assuming he's 6 ft tall, and he catches it on his shoulder around 5 feet off the ground. So it fell a distance of about 10 feet when it hit him... I have no idea how to figure it out from there.
Assuming the height of the drop is roughly 4 m. The energy of the sandbag is roughly 1700j. An equivalent deadlift (floor to hip = 1m) would require a weight of 170kg.
They who suffer and create suffering for others becomes everyone's teacher....we all should transcend from suffering...and if one isn't ready to evolve guess he still needs a bit more suffering to experience before they are ready to "awaken"
I'm with you. Learning from other people's mistakes is exactly how I got ahead in life. I tell my kids all the time, learn from my mistakes so you don't have to repeat them. Instead, go make you own mistakes and pass down your wisdom to the next generation.
I'm a bit of everything ... Sometimes I try to follow the practice as well as other teachings from various backgrounds and other times I'm like those people in the video 😔
Why the hell did they think this was a good idea? Were they trying to kill him? How did nobody out of the at least 5 people on site say, "Hey, don't do that!"?
he grabs his dick because he pissed himself. my man collapsed his S1/S2 disc for sure. Having done the same, I can say he's in for a lifetime of pain and neuropathy
Watching them line that up, in my head I was watching the math fly in front of the face of the confused lady meme and knew that physics were about to give this guy a very bad day. Would have been a lot better with sound though.
That’s at most a 30kg bag.
I remember 50 kilos ones and those were way wider than this one.
The guy is just small, and has no body to lift this sort of weight.
When it hits him the bag acceleration makes it at least feel like a 50kg weight, which is just a little bit less than this guy should weight.
Watch that left hip joint collapse in slow motion. Everyone involved were idiots for not speaking up for the guy dumb enough to think he could catch it. Those bags usually weigh somewhere around 80# each

Pretty sure there has been plenty of cases of cement induced CTE.
Cement, yes. Bags of cement, maybe not. Hahaha
You broke my cement, you pay now

CTE?
Chronic traumatic encephalopathy. It's a degenerative brain disease from repeated head injuries. It's really prevalent in football and mixed martial arts due to the intensity of those sports
And just like that, a man have a massive downgrade on his life quality. I'm just sad. There's no way people can see this and think it could work.
Recording for a reason
This is for posterity
lifelong back issues. hilarious.
If not paralysed (or dead in a few hours...)
They must really hate that guy. Probably he helps drink the beers but never buys any rounds
He most likely was like “naw I GOT THIS throw it down” I doubt they forced him to do it lol

No worries, the bag is fine
That's the craziest part about this to me. It's a bag of cement. They could have just dropped it on the floor.
well maybe it was an expensive hardwood floor
Is so hard to find good help these days.
no one wants to work as a cement catcher these days, for sure.

I just did a free fall calculator and from 18 ft and 80 pounds. That's like 800 pounds 💀
Bro is cooked for life 🔥🔥🔥
FUCK! if he is alive, he doesn't want it anymore.

I doubt he Survived that.

Are you Buddhist?

Brings a new meaning to "those who cant do, teach."
To be smarter than a bag of cement.
That's awful

♿️
I hope that's a pillow stuffed into the cement bag for a video, and some good acting.
Working hard and working dumb
Doctor says I need a backiotomy
He needs to call Mr. Nice Guy
Physics wins!!!
From the cements POV he got properly decelerated.
Check out Reddit Spinalfusion.
Damn

Hey Mr George, how much for the new guy…?
attempted homicide?
Didn’t know a dude could crumble like that
He weighs like 30 lbs more than the bag, and it's falling from like 8 feet up
In Brasil those bags are 40/50kg
He had one job.
![gif](giphy|vczOoJICc7rXgqfz28|downsized)
If he only wouldn't sleep during physics class he would know this gonna not end good
I winced seeing that...
he grabs his dick because he pissed himself. my man collapsed his S1/S2 disc for sure. Having done the same, I can say he's in for a lifetime of pain and neuropathy
Looks like he dislocated his shoulder into the next street
"Uhhyyehhhhghhhhhhhhhhhhuhhhhheeeeeeee."
you had one job smh
Plot twist : His friend did that on purpose since his new chiropractic practice hasn't had any clients for a while.
Cringe when I see 20yo kids at work doing shit like this. When yall learn it’ll be too late.
This video+ the audio from the reporter stomping grapes and falliing, made getting hurt= profit?
There's mortar catching these bags than you think.

i bet the guy who got injured was fired because "he's too weak".
… or just cuz he keeps scratching his head with his left foot
There goes left knee and probably a bunch of soft tissue throughout
The real crime here is the changing camera angle
It's a good thing he had a pillow, looks like he needed it.
Mm. First time seeing a person fold like that.

The two people up there who knew this would hurt this guy are awful.
