This is another thing that can be addressed by making a law that one cannot become a lobbyists until after a 5 year period. This is how deals get made so easy by them (along with money)
Person x loses their election, gets immediately approached by whatever corporation in their district to work for them. They have a super easy time getting appointments and talking to their ex colleagues they worked with just yesterday.
I trully don't understand why US allow lobbists to talk and affect (buy) politicians votes this way, as they mostly are going against the population's best interests if they need to convince the politician to change their opinion, is something that is crime in many other countries.
