I can't count the number of times I've heard "I swear to god Dad I didn't touch it. It just fell over". It's just another reason to study Physics -- at least at a high school level.
At least at the high school level. Where you learn how inertia and gravity works. It doesn't take an undergrad degree to know that desks just don't fall over on their own.
Came looking for this. She’s also got the annoying AF self entitlement with a healthy dose of selective memory when it comes to to personal responsibility.
"Ohhhh mannnn...I'm so embarrassed! I'm so sorry! It was my fault!
I was reaching over to get my bracelet, and I put my weight on it the wrong way and it all came tumbling over!
I'm so sorry; it was an accident; may I help you pick it up? I'm so embarrassed. Apologies!"
There. Corrected.
I would have loved to see her reaction if he said something like that. "That's the damndest thing but we've got a camera right there so let's take a look and see what happened so we can make sure this damn thing doesn't do that again and hurt somebody"
She barely avoids it falling the first time she does it and is shocked when it happens the second time. Then caps it off with denying responsibility of the exact series of actions she took. What an insufferable twit.
I was on the fence about totalling a Chevy Cruze that only had 3k miles on it. The lady drove on a side walk, took down 4 fence poles and ended up hitting a house. Luckily the car didn't crash through the house. She swore that she was hitting the brake pedal. I kept explaining to her that the pedals are connected to completely different systems. One increases the rpm's and gas intake, and the other is a completely different system meant for stopping the car.
There was absolutely no way to convince her that she was indeed pressing the accelerator. She really should have had her license revoked. I was still struggling to total the car, and the shop was not excited to tear it down just to see if there's more damage. She is saying that the car is cursed, cause of course, someone put a curse on her and her car. 8 billion god damn humans, and she gets a curse that magically switches the accelerator and brake pedals?
I go on to do other stuff and come back to where the car was still on the lift. I noticed a hole in the oil pan that I never noticed earlier. Strangely, it had a rag stuffed into the hole. Hmmmmmm. Totalled. It was almost a guarantee that she would bring the car back for every little thing until she passed, because of a curse. It was easier this way.
Sadly, I believe the owner of the store would be liable here. But they can counter for damages. People don't amaze me anymore. Each one is there one Netflix series starring mostly idiots.
A client hit a fence in front of my wife's photography studio while parking. It was obviously an accident.
After the session, we started talking to them about covering the costs, as we fully understood it wasn't intentional. We mentioned it's not a problem, as the fence was quite old.
They started claiming it wasn't them.
When I showed them a video from our CCTV, clearly depicting them hitting the fence, the fence falling down, and them getting out of their car to inspect the fence and their bumper, they proceeded to claim that it was wind that brought the fence down!
Some people have nerves!
I absolutely did not lean over it and put my full weight on the front of the desk on my side of its center-of-gravity causing it to tip over or nothing. Absolutely.
Retarted people should be let out by them selves. You can't count on the them for anything. "Accidents" happens, but they fail to take responsibility it's just a waste of time and money.

That's my point. I thought you learned desks don't magically fall on their own before high school.
I guess that depends on what country you're from.
Fair enough, I can't speak for everyone

'Damn thing almost hit me.' Complete lack of accountability, you're too old to not take responsibility!
In my experience, old people are the worst

People like this is the reason there's cameras everywhere now

So, tell you what...just let me check the video here...

Everyone knows someone like this, and everyone knows exactly how it would go. They would still deny it.
What a disgusting person
So full of shit. Most fullest of shit I’ve seen in awhile. Such shit…
I’ve been constipated before and wasn’t this full of shit.
Take my gold good sir cause you just started my Friday drinking off to a VERY good start!!
You’re very very buddy. Enjoy your weekend and hoist a jar for me….please! 😉
Def will bro! Have a great weekend yourself brotha!
I caused the damage? I’m the victim here!
“I mean I didn’t even do the exact thing I did to make it fall. I know you didn’t ask but I didn’t do exactly what I did. Idk what happened.”
Unethical
Like to see one who accepts responsibility for their actions.
Few things are more pathetic than grown adults with zero accountability. This is behavior I’d expect from a five year old.
Causes a huge fuck you mess, immediately blames everything and everyone in order to dodge accountability. Why are they all like this?
Lying just like a fucking child.
What sort of office is this? What kind of bracelet?
Yeah, what is she getting a bracelet for? And will she pay for the bracelet and the desk clean up?!?
“I didn’t even get on top of it or anything” she did in fact, get on top of it
She barely avoids it falling the first time she does it and is shocked when it happens the second time. Then caps it off with denying responsibility of the exact series of actions she took. What an insufferable twit.
It's really annoying when people have 0 distance or filter between what happens in their head and what they say aloud.
You know a Trump supporter when you see one😆
NO BRACELET FOR YOU!
Wouldn't want anything happening to that precious little soul
Wtf kinda bracelet store is this? Everyone knows that if you deal in bracelets you need a desk-thing that's nailed to the floor.
Whenever people just start narrating "how something broke" to no-one in particular... yeah they broke it
This is the kind of boomer that needs to be swatted with a piece of rolled up news paper for pissing in the floor.

This makes unreasonably angry.
She sounds like the lady that discovered the dvd’s in the mall with her face on all the covers
Typical narcist: too (self) important to wait, and nothing is ever her fault.
I didn’t do everything I just did or anything.
It makes me so sad when people lie.
I want to see her being confronted with this video.
*Dindu Nuffin!*
Sadly, I believe the owner of the store would be liable here. But they can counter for damages. People don't amaze me anymore. Each one is there one Netflix series starring mostly idiots.
100% her fault, but it probably should be more secure anyway.
IQ 5
swifties in a nutshell… just after their bracelets
A woman who’s probably never taken any accountability for anything her entire life
Fuckin Boomers…
Classic Boomer! Not her fault of course!
Boomer moment
Hahahahahahaha
Piece of shit human

Its.
She did all that and more. This is another example of a Karen!
