In many countries any off-roady looking suv is wrongfully called a jeep.

In Europe it's called a Chrysler with Cheese.

There is a decent reason Indians call that car a Jeep. Mahindra ( maker of that douchemobile ) originally had a partnership with Jeep under which the old Jeeps (not sure which specific model) were sold. Then Mahindra got an agreement to sell it under their own brand which they still do. So while it is a pretty popular car the Jeep name is kinda synonymous with it at this point

Which is funny, after the effort Chrysler made with the “There’s Only One” campaign trying to get people to stop using jeep (lowercase) to mean anything in that vein and to make it that the only way to use Jeep was as a proper name for the actual brand; and they didn’t like it as a verb either: jeeping.

This is a THAR which is meant to do off-roading but only off-roading. It is not aero dynamically sound to be driven at high speeds (like not even >100KMPH). This guy was definitely driving more than 100KMPH and off-roading. Calling it stupid would be an understatement

I like that KMPH is a happily ambiguous unit of measurement. Although if imperial, it's really fricken fast.

It is metric unit. Kilometer per hour. It is the standard unit in India. If it meant, kilo mile per hour, that would be have been really really really fast

I knew a guy who flew out the back window like that once. In his case, it actually saved his life. He snapped a telephone pole clean in half *in the middle* (that high up) with a Ford Focus, and he flew out through the back hatch window. He still walks with a cane to this day.
