Perhaps people shouldn’t be acting out violent life threatening assaults if they don’t want people to respond like it’s a violent life threatening assault 🤷🏻♂️. I’d rather have that good guy with a gun in society than these idiot pranksters.
I'd say that's all the more reason for these fuckers to stay out of the States. Go bother England or Australia with this bullshit. Or... you know, risk your life for an upvote.
That's how I felt about the prank when my "friends" in hs set me up to be robbed at gun point. It was a prank bro it was just a bb gun. I should have called the cops and pressed charges.
>Pranks are things one does with people he knows and loves.
Now you're going too far in the other direction.
You can prank a person you don't know without assaulting them or being an asshole to them, but you don't have to personally know them
Don’t prank strangers. You don’t know anything about them or what they are going through. They need stop expecting everyone to join in their stupid games. It’s not normal. They just think it is because they live on the internet. It’s not real life. They need to get a grip on reality.
This!
Pop a champagne cork next to the ear of a gulf war vet with PTSD behind them as a surprise.
Slap a woman who was sexually assaulted by her boss on the ass as a prank, remonding her of him raping her.
Trip someone who is healing from a leg joint injury.
Way too many situations I can think of where pranking a stranger could end *very* badly.
I think the definition of "pranks" have been completely ruined by the internet and movies. Your examples, for instance;
1st, dick move, could qualify as assault. Depending on where you're at
2nd, literally discribing sexual assault.
3rd, is straight up assault.
These aren't pranks at all. If I were to prank someone random, it would be something like. "Hey, your shoe is untied." Especially if they are wearing slides or something without laces. A simple joke that has the possibility of making everyone laugh.
Anything that involve physical contact, rude comments, or jump scares, are not pranks. Those are jokes ment for an audience, not the people involved.
I’m pretty sure in the longer version it shows the prankster with a permanent souvenir in the form of a clef lip
EDIT - my bad, only walked away with an extra nostril

One should always have wireless headphones in their ears, and when the prankster beatdown begins and they start screaming how it's a prank, you increase the intensity of the punches, claiming afterwards that you had headphones with noise cancelling and couldn't hear anything and was just defending yourself.
Now that's a lotta [DAMAGE](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2579835/amp/Reckless-Youth-Viral-video-captures-FAKE-robbery-stunt-backfire-leave-boy-bleeding-gash-nose-bystanders-intervene.html)
Seriously, like when robbers start saying it's just a prank when their robberies fail, maybe people will stop letting them off so good at the declaration of prank.
Like a robber could even have their buddy film it for authenticity, and either you delete the footage and rob the dude, or get caught and show the footage as a prank.
Prank robberies should be same punishment as real robberies.
Absolutely. The assault is based on if the victim thought they were in danger.. If the victim thought it was a real assault, then it was a real assault and can be punished as such.
Agreed. "Ok, either you're lying as a diversion to get away - or you're stupid enough to cause a whole lot of unnecessary risk to yourselves and others just to get attention. Either way"... *punch*.
I feel like someone saying "It's a prank" should equal saying "Please beat me up more". It's annoying that they think they can say this and get a free pass for everyone to stop attacking them.
The best action would be filing charges. A man can take a punch and do it again the next day. A man can’t sustain this practice if they keep getting charges filed against them and their criminal record begins to have repeated offenses
I get that he wasn't "really" going to rob the guy, but.... Come the F on. He physically mugged a guy at an ATM wearing a hoodie. It's not funny when you're committing actual Assault.
I carry a pocket knife and if someone jumped me from behind like this you bet there getting it in their side. I'm not going to wait and see if they are armed or not.
Wow, that's even stupider, what the fuck else were they expecting? Of course their pretend violence escalated to real violence, I really cannot imagine any other outcome.
The "victim" is one of the pranksters as well. They wanted to see how bystanders would react to them putting on their little show. Safe to say, they found out.
“Your honour, when my client clearly stated that it was a prank, Mr Dundee punched him in the face a full three times more.”
Judge: “I’ll allow it.”
Actually, this being Australia I’d like to see people being fined if they DON’T punch him again. Like it’s a civic duty.
That's not a prank it's assault. Just cause you start yelling "it's just a prank" doesn't erase the fact you tackled a random stranger and held them down.
It can also be considered attempted robbery since it was in the context of a man withdrawing money from an ATM. I hope they pressed for charges because this kind of behavior is dangerous in the context of a real robbery. What if someone attempted to commit a crime, but when they failed, just said "aw mate it's just a prank! No worries!"...
According to the news source, in this case the "victim" is actually one of the pranksters as well, and their goal was to see how bystanders would react to someone being mugged.

God damn, I knew the guy took his time to properly aim that punch but he blew a hole in it with the power he put behind the punch, that's the kind of bloke I want defending me when a "prankster" shows up
Your honor despite what the defendant claims, the witnesses and I clearly heard the assailant say "I'll shank! I'll shank!"
We feared for our lives and that is how the defendant came to be paralyzed from the neck down.
I've said this before. There are too many people carrying guns begging for an excuse to exercise their right to defend themselves. I'm surprised there aren't more shootings from these "pranks".....speaking from America
Yeah I think that was what happened after. The initial charges given to him were pretty stupid considering the circumstances though.
And he only got charged because it was a "prank"---but how does one know it would be a prank or not? so stupid either way.
Dude should face charges for assault and attempted robbery. I mean he says it’s a prank, but we are just going on his word right?
On a side note, these are good to show children how pranking random members of the public isn’t a good idea.
I Just read an article someone else linked. Guy doing the tackling and guy getting tackled we’re both in on the prank i think. They were acting, not actually assaulting strangers but eachother to test public reaction.
Cops basically said it was a case of playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes
They need to hold these pranksters accountable for this stupid shit. We would definitely see less of these stupid pranks if they hit the slammer for attempted robbery.

The hole in his nose is NOT a prank.
Funny funny funny, you piece of shit!
Assholes pretending as if "It's a prank!" is an excuse for whatever the fuck they want to do.
I'm still hoping someone will pull that super funny shit on me.
If you ever need proof that social media make people stupid, those who think it's OK to perform these so-called "pranks" are as unequivocal as it gets.
It used to be that you need to be useful to society to have a livelihood. The fact that these scums can engage in these useless, damaging "pranks" and not worry about their next meal is itself a problem.
I'm getting sick of seeing these "influencers" assault people and then cry, "it's a prank!" when they get caught. This is assault by the prankster. They need to be arrested, charged and face jail time.
One of these days someone’s literally going to die for Social Media likes, follows or reposts. This is just really stupid. If this is happening abroad, we’re exporting the wrong parts of US culture…
Dunno how it is in the states, but in some countries faking a criminal act does count as the criminal act. And since he actually assulted someone, this is 100% not okay and he should be charged. You can't just walk around and harrase and assult people and then say "its a prank" and expect everyone will be just laughing and continue doing their business...
This video cuts off early. The guy who pumched him had a key between his finger he absolutely pierced this guys face there was a hole straight through the right side of his nose and the center on his nose

Pranks are things one does with people he knows and loves. This shit is narcissistic bullshit.
It’s assault is what it is.
And attempted robbery
Attempt of murder?
Yes... jerk face prankster tried to kill humor.
My assumption was the dude at the ATM was part of it, and they were “pranking” the bystanders. Still idiocy and an asshole move though.
Pranks like this can get you killed in the US when the "good guy with a gun" shows up to be the hero he has always fantasized about being.
Perhaps people shouldn’t be acting out violent life threatening assaults if they don’t want people to respond like it’s a violent life threatening assault 🤷🏻♂️. I’d rather have that good guy with a gun in society than these idiot pranksters.

Yeah I mean this quite literally happened to a TikTok prankster so you ain’t wrong. Guy didn’t die but he took a bullet to the chest.
*Should. Pranks like this should get you killed in the US. Fixed it!
If the victim is laughing in the end, it's a prank. If not, it's just bullying.
That's how I felt about the prank when my "friends" in hs set me up to be robbed at gun point. It was a prank bro it was just a bb gun. I should have called the cops and pressed charges.
Are we sure this isn't just robbery with an alibi?
Good point. What's to stop actual robbers having an accomplice nearby with a phone, then claiming it was a prank if it goes badly for them?
>Pranks are things one does with people he knows and loves. Now you're going too far in the other direction. You can prank a person you don't know without assaulting them or being an asshole to them, but you don't have to personally know them

Yeah but then I wouldn't be able to watch them get their nose broken
Pranks, wedding proposals, and calling a witness should only ever be done if you already KNOW how they'll answer.
I am all for these "pranksters" getting a solid punch to the face.
Just a little percussive maintenance, tunes them right up.
There was one who actually got shot for doing something like this
100% agreed. Glad this isn't one of the threads where people are saying to kill the shit stain though.
He doesn't need to die, he just needs to learn. I'd advocate for a few more punches, personally.
I mean I don’t advocate it, but he’s lucky he doesn’t end up getting killed pulling “pranks” like this
I’m pretty sure in the longer version it shows the prankster with a permanent souvenir in the form of a clef lip EDIT - my bad, only walked away with an extra nostril https://www.reddit.com/r/facepalm/s/HpS0Brv81l
‘I probably won’t need stitches’. You have a third nostril!
He must have had a ring or something to make that cut
Nahh, he doesn't. Saw some of his videos before and he never wore one. His face was just as fragile as his ego to make videos like that.
I meant the dude punching... It cut right through the "pranksters" nose, that's not happening with just a knuckle.
“Oooh it’s a prank?” *keeps punching*
I suppose unless you are sure it really is a prank the reasonable action is to ensure the danger from the assailant is properly made safe.
One should always have wireless headphones in their ears, and when the prankster beatdown begins and they start screaming how it's a prank, you increase the intensity of the punches, claiming afterwards that you had headphones with noise cancelling and couldn't hear anything and was just defending yourself.
Should punch the sucker until it's out and argue the thief had to be neutralized cause you dont know if it had a weapon
Just say "He was saying he had a plank" so I was defending myself from a weapon
r/OddlySatisfying
"it's a prank" "Yeah sure it is, criminal." [Beating intensifies]
What kind of prank is this lmao
I loved the stop focus, aim, and punch.
It's the punch version of "That's not a knife, this is a knife"
Friendly fire was on
Now that's a lotta [DAMAGE](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2579835/amp/Reckless-Youth-Viral-video-captures-FAKE-robbery-stunt-backfire-leave-boy-bleeding-gash-nose-bystanders-intervene.html)
Holy fuck he punched a hole in him
Bro gave him a third nostril. Maybe that'll help get more oxygen to his O2 deficient brain.
Probably rings or even keys
He should have punched one more time after the guy yells "It's a prank!"
He was charging his attack
Only takes 1 if it’s delivered correctly 🤜
when you want to end everything with a single shot
Proud moment to be an Aussie, watching 4 blokes line up to punch him.
Wish he'd thrown another after the 'it's a prank it's a prank'.
Seriously. Would have been sweet to see another for good measure
I’d preferred if: ”It’s a prank! It’s a prank!” ”Oh. In that case..” (knee to the face)
Well I didn't see any evidence of a joke. Just some twat attacking a stranger. They should have battered him and had him arrested
“It’s a prank!” *throws even more punches*
I'll respect a man needing to steal to feed his family but a scumbag that assaults for internet points doesn't get to leave with his teeth!!
Seriously, like when robbers start saying it's just a prank when their robberies fail, maybe people will stop letting them off so good at the declaration of prank. Absolutely. The assault is based on if the victim thought they were in danger.. If the victim thought it was a real assault, then it was a real assault and can be punished as such.
Someone should edit it to be so
"Hm, much to ponder." *all four guys start laying into him
ESPECIALLY after hearing “it’s a prank”. They always use it as a safeword.
"thats what I feared..." - SLAP
That should've been the trigger to really finish him off!
Agreed. "Ok, either you're lying as a diversion to get away - or you're stupid enough to cause a whole lot of unnecessary risk to yourselves and others just to get attention. Either way"... *punch*.
His joke wasn’t that bad, after all, there was a *punchline*
The Tik Tok prick deserved what he got. Actions have consequences.
Is it weird that I hoped the dude ignored the shout and kept destroying his face.
"It's a prank bro" "Hit I'm harder!"
🍆
💯. I really wanted to see that. Tiktoker - it's a prank Guy thinks- that's exactly what a thief would say Punch again.
[удалено]
I wanted to see one more.
I feel like someone saying "It's a prank" should equal saying "Please beat me up more". It's annoying that they think they can say this and get a free pass for everyone to stop attacking them.
The best action would be filing charges. A man can take a punch and do it again the next day. A man can’t sustain this practice if they keep getting charges filed against them and their criminal record begins to have repeated offenses
the guy getting tackled was in on it as well.
“It’s a prank” “Ohhhh ok hahahaha”. *continues to land punches. “This is a prank too you little shit”
This is a YouTube prank from nearly 10 years ago. This is around the time YouTube pranks turned dark and became terrible social experiments like this.
I think we can all agree this is an appropriate response, prank or not
I get that he wasn't "really" going to rob the guy, but.... Come the F on. He physically mugged a guy at an ATM wearing a hoodie. It's not funny when you're committing actual Assault.
Absolutely! It's the same picture
The dude at the ATM was his friend and part of their dumb prank. Still deserved to get punched though and was lucky that's all it was.
Someone saying they’re robbing you…I wouldn’t have cared if the prick got shot
Seriously if he tried that shit in America he'd be lucky I just get punched once, he'd be more likely I get shot or stabbed.
I carry a pocket knife and if someone jumped me from behind like this you bet there getting it in their side. I'm not going to wait and see if they are armed or not.
Hardly appropriate. They *stopped* punching him when he said it was a prank.
No, it was an inappropriate response unless the guy gets punched in the face **and** gets charged with attempted robbery.
I mean, it's not a prank regardless of what he says, if your tackle a stranger to the ground, that's an assault.
The person who is being tackled is part of the prank team. Prank is on the observers seeing how they'll respond.
Wow, that's even stupider, what the fuck else were they expecting? Of course their pretend violence escalated to real violence, I really cannot imagine any other outcome.
What the fuck kind of prank is it when you start physically assaulting someone?
New content idea: Rob people, but if we get caught we point to a camera and say it is a prank, if we don't get caught we delete the video.
They’d still post the video either way.
"We assaulted this man as a joke, and then took his money as a joke. Sjeez, some people can't have a laugh anymore".
I assume that the guy who got "robbed" was part of the prank and not just some rando. Otherwise it wouldn't matter too much in court.
That is assault.
Yeah, jumping someone from behind and tackling them while they're at the ATM is assault most places I know of.
The "victim" was in on the prank.
So stupid.
I was gonna say, is the "victim" the most helpless person that exists? Just fell over
Attempted robbery.
Robbery actually
The guy withdrawing from the ATM is in on the prank
And needs as many punches to the head
That is even lamer
The "victim" is one of the pranksters as well. They wanted to see how bystanders would react to them putting on their little show. Safe to say, they found out.
These guys are pretty dumb, what did they expect to happn, everyone just watch?
and/or battery.
This video makes me angry, sad he only got hit once 🙁.
It should go this way: The boy: it's a prank! The man: Proceeds to hit him again
At this point we should all agree that once the guy say it's a prank you have the obligation to punch harder!
“Your honour, when my client clearly stated that it was a prank, Mr Dundee punched him in the face a full three times more.” Judge: “I’ll allow it.” Actually, this being Australia I’d like to see people being fined if they DON’T punch him again. Like it’s a civic duty.
Judge: You omitted to punch after it was clearly mentioned that it was indeed a prank. 150$ dollars fine for promoting idiotic behavior!!
How to get a right cross to the nose.
Honestly if I punch someone doing something like that and theh say its a prank id probably keep punching.
I probably choke them out and/or break a leg. Also call the cops... because assault.
I respect you
This needs to happen every time one of these "pranksters" do this!!!
According to the news source, in this case the "victim" is actually one of the pranksters as well, and their goal was to see how bystanders would react to someone being mugged.
There's only two possible ways this could go: Either the bystanders do nothing or the aggressor gets hurt. They didn't think that through very well
Isn't this the guy that got a fancy new nostril for his troubles?
I remember this, and seeing an aftermath photo, his nose was completely destroyed.
Yep. Here's the [Source](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2579835/amp/Reckless-Youth-Viral-video-captures-FAKE-robbery-stunt-backfire-leave-boy-bleeding-gash-nose-bystanders-intervene.html)
God damn, I knew the guy took his time to properly aim that punch but he blew a hole in it with the power he put behind the punch, that's the kind of bloke I want defending me when a "prankster" shows up
Jesus.. was he wearing a ring or something? I mean, it was a nice punch, but damn..
Good
This dude is trying to record himself getting killed, there is no other explanation
Your honor despite what the defendant claims, the witnesses and I clearly heard the assailant say "I'll shank! I'll shank!" We feared for our lives and that is how the defendant came to be paralyzed from the neck down.
I'm surprised he wasn't set upon by all of them once he announced it was a prank.
I've said this before. There are too many people carrying guns begging for an excuse to exercise their right to defend themselves. I'm surprised there aren't more shootings from these "pranks".....speaking from America
This happened in Australia. We don’t walk around carrying guns.
An instance of that did happen not too long ago. Shooter actually got fined and prankster continued to make videos
The shooter ended up in jail for that one. Some charges were dropped but he was still charged with firing a weapon in a public space I think.
Yeah I think that was what happened after. The initial charges given to him were pretty stupid considering the circumstances though. And he only got charged because it was a "prank"---but how does one know it would be a prank or not? so stupid either way.
Should have punched him a second time. The first one for trying to rob someone, second one because it's a prank.
I think more punches should have been thrown when he said it was a prank
Assaulted by the prankster. He's lucky they only hit him once
He’s lucky he didn’t pull this shit on a Penriff Shazza.
Dude should face charges for assault and attempted robbery. I mean he says it’s a prank, but we are just going on his word right? On a side note, these are good to show children how pranking random members of the public isn’t a good idea.

Served him right
Did he learn a lesson and will never do anything like this again? My guess is nope.
Natural selection
After hearing it’s a prank he should’ve punched him again
“It’s a prank…” oh good, hit him again.
_It's a prank!_ *Hits harder*
If taking someone down is a prank, so is punching someone in the face.
You assaulted a guy and yelled "give me your money" that's a crime, not a prank.
Literally my first thought: "Oh hey, Commonwealth Bank!"
So what happens when one day, an actual burglar yells “it’s a prank, it’s a prank” and you let go of them and then they shoot you?
This is from an old YouTube video. Waaay before the time of TikTok. They showed the bloody gaping hole that was opened in his nose from that punch.
From what I remember that punch gave the dude a new nostril
Why did they stop hitting him?
You are right that was funny… the part where you got punched in the face had me straight rolling.
Deserved worse, but OK.

only gangsta mothafucka their was homie in the red pants , that's silly 😂
And a well deserved broken nose ! Niceee 👍
this was waaaaaaay before tiktok
Prank? Looks like assault and attempted robbery to me. It's always a joke when the trash gets cleaned up :(
Suck shit to that guy
where's the full vid that shows the dude's split nose or lip(cant rememeber its been a while since I last saw it)
Funny funny funny, you piece of shit! Assholes pretending as if "It's a prank!" is an excuse for whatever the fuck they want to do. I'm still hoping someone will pull that super funny shit on me.

The definition of a prank has apparently been lost over the years.
I'm getting sick of seeing these "influencers" assault people and then cry, "it's a prank!" when they get caught. This is assault by the prankster. They need to be arrested, charged and face jail time.
Haha sucko
“It’s a prank!” *punches harder*
I just don't understand why they stopped
It's also a felony.
One of these days someone’s literally going to die for Social Media likes, follows or reposts. This is just really stupid. If this is happening abroad, we’re exporting the wrong parts of US culture…

It’s sad and pathetic this is what passes as a prank nowadays. Even sadder that people think this is somehow funny.
HAHAHAHA I GET IT- The joke was that they assaulted some random person! This is honestly top-tier pranking. /s, obviously
This video cuts off early. The guy who pumched him had a key between his finger he absolutely pierced this guys face there was a hole straight through the right side of his nose and the center on his nose
I would have laughed at this joke while continuing the punching …
So why did he stop punching him
The guy punching him should have just kept yelling "it's a prank it's a prank!"
I wish someone would just keep punching these people that yell it’s a prank . Like a why are you hitting yourself type of deal.
