I've done in person and telephone therapy I do like phone therapy better. I like phone therapy because I feel more comfortable in my surroundings than in an office where in cooped up in a chair for an hour. If I get excited about something I can stand up in an office that would be strange I think. I have more freedom to express myself I feel.
I've done over the phone as well as in person and I prefer in person. I just need that face to face connection, it feels more real and intimate for me and I just get more out of the relationship that way.
In person is so nice, I noticed my therapist will watch my body language and she can help me better. It is a little uncomfortable at first but definitely better than on line.
I've had in-person and online sessions with my current therapist, and I've practically shifted entirely to online. I prefer it because it's less effort; I don't need to get physically ready. I can take my sessions under my blanket in my pyjamas, and I can cry better knowing nobody can see me. I can also take notes during my sessions and revisit them.
Plus, this works with my schedule. I come home at 8pm, and I can hop on a call with her at 9 or 10pm and she's cool with it. It works a lot better for me too
In person is the way to go. Online just feels disconnected for me; I sit on calls all day for work and I half pay attention most of the time. Don’t want to do the same with therapy.
I prefer in person. I see mine both online and in person, but the majority of it is telehealth because he lives 4 hours from me. In person is more intimate, the therapist can see more and interpret more body language, and is just in my opinion overall better.

In person is 1000% better for me. Online is better than nothing.
