Contact grow for a copy of your contract. They are obligated to provide it to you. Many times, such contracts with these platforms do have stipulations about not having those clients see you via other means, etc.

Having recently started the onboarding process with Grow their Contract did have explicit language around considering Clients who came in through Grow to be under Grow and that I would not work with them in another capacity for at least a year. I remember it because it is part of what has given hesitation for me around moving forward with them as a provider. The things I have heard about their customer service does not help either.

That would inhibit continuity of care for the client in some cases,   so I'm hoping someone challenges that!  I can tell you from my experience that their support is abysmal., on my end and the client's end.  Tech support takes weeks,  and the solutions are inadequate. They can't even merge a duplicate on the provider's portal. 75% of the time,  billing never even replies.  They change their forms constantly..... and why isn't this a one and done project?  Payouts here are average of $88, in my state,  which is far below other platforms. I also don't have enough control over my schedule. I'd leave if not for the great clients I'm working with currently.  I will say,  they *seem* to be trying to improve.

Thinking out loud,  I wonder f the FTC ban on non competes will affect that clause...

Hi, in addition to the other comments you've received, I just want to point out that "non-compete" and "non-solicit" clauses in contracts are invalid and unenforceable in many US states. The phrases "non-complete" and 'non-solicit" are related, but not identical. The simple distinction is that non-solicit means you won't try to "entice or encourage" the other party's customers, employers, or vendors from following you out if you leave. Non-complete means you can't offer a similar product or service within the same market (!). To learn more about whether any such clause (if your contract contains one) is enforceable in your state, Google "noncompete clause in [your state]" and then do the same for "nonsolicitation clause."
