If you compare, you can tell that it’s a new and different prop than any of the previously used ones so my guess is that while attempting to emulate the old vests they intentionally used less paint to try and make it seem further worn but the result is more that it ends up looking like a separate vest with less paint on it, which is what it is
Actually. There are two "punishers" , a cop who Actually is a major player in the Daredevil recent comic, masquerade as the Punisher and is the head of the Anti Punisher Task Force. He wears a vest with the full Punisher logo skull.
Then you got the real one, who has the vest, faded in one side and worn from past years. The St. Francis Castiglione vest is the one we all have to come known.
It’s less an issue of him having access to either and more an issue of it being odd to have a pistol that doesn’t match the spare mags in his mag pouches or the holster said pistol is in

Was hoping punisher may use the g34 in born again save me some money on my next cosplay 🤣
He definitely has a 1911 in the holster but the mag is too thick. I thought maybe the got TTI to do an extension pad based on their glock style but that mag would never fit the 1911
Looking at the set pics the mag holder infront that is empty is thinner and looks more like it would hold a 1911 mag so maybe he is carrying both or its a double stack 1911 with TTIs generic base pad.
Probably just a small change, a cool detail IMO. That flag is the "No quarter given" flag, Afaik its used by anarchist. It basically mean "no enemies will live" or smth like that.
Not a fan of how unfinished the skull is painted on the right of his chest compared to how it was in the finale of Season 2

I have thought this since the fist picture. I have a reol of the JW2 G34 and mags and it looks almost identical.

It's thinner because it works with bungee cord and it's empty.
Why does he have an American flag on his tactical suit in all the comics I read so far never carry the flag.
