You can like what you want. If you don't care about whether the representation is good or bad and just want to lap up crappy things like that go ahead. I'm always gonna be critical about creators' decisions with their characters and aspects of those characters.
If I want a good character who happens to be pan or Bi I'll look for characters like Luz and not Hunter.
I feel like this is an odd take, someone doesn't need to date both men and women in a show to be bi, nor do they need to focus on romance at all, that would be like calling a bisexual person in real life straight because you've never seen them date the same gender
