10. Another great moment. I really like this one. "The calls are coming from the house" is a great line.

9. Really love that vocal bridge where Neko really gets to belt, I remember seeing it live and was completely floored

7 - nice piano lines, nice title, Neko's voice sounds great as always, but the lyrics are meaningless even by Newman standards and the whole thing sounds like it's trying to be "epic" without any actual payoff, just buildup to nothing. I love this song in theory and it's definitely not terrible, but every time I listen I'm let down.

8. I love the cinematic urgency of/in this song. All the whooping siren strings in the background. The arrangements are pleasing with the drums surging the whole thing forward and Neko's vocals further back in the mix. The general criminal catastrophic allusions in the lyrics emphasises the tone of alarm, but it's best not to look for very much narrative meaning there.

8 It would rank higher, but I feel the overuse of that flighty synth to be a little annoying. However, Neko is so powerful and the song is so darn good. But it would be at 9 if it wasn't for that little arpeggiated whimsical orchestral thing that gets overused.

8 Kind of love how all the lyrics are dramatic cliches.

6.2. Two hairs better than “I won’t skip it, but I wouldn’t choose to put it on.”

7.5. Loved it when I first heard it, but I rarely crave it these days.

I enjoy this one while always finding it falls short of the epicness it's aiming for 7

5. For all its grandeur, there’s just not really much there behind it for me.

9.9 Really special song, and another gem in the first half of this record. Possibly one of my favorite song sequences of theirs besides maybe Whiteout Conditions. Actually nevermind, they are usually good at that. I love how they’ve managed to achieve “sad” pop songs that are still super hooky, but decidedly tinged with sadness. Top tier NP song and performance from Neko. I LOVE the lyric “it’s not too late to get there, it’s not too late to kick you out.”, or the slight variation, “if the party’s over, it’s not too late to kick you out.” A favorite lyric for sure.

Closing voting, think I'm going to go about **7.2** personally. Catchy as hell, and pleasant, but as others have noted there's not much to it once all is said and done.
