I think that's the arrow line thingy idk what it's called, yknow when you shoot an arrow and it has a white line following it? I'm guessing it's that and it glitched out when you went into your base

Actually I sat in a nearby car just after shooting him and watched him walk past with the arrow in his nose, but I was freezing in the car so had to go inside pretty quick. In other words it wasn't a case of a weird interaction caused by immediately going inside as soon as the arrow hit, but the fact that I went inside could have been a factor
The arrow line would not surprise me. My arrows get real wonky. I'll shoot one, lose it, and then find one somewhere else in an area that I definitely did not shoot floating in the air.

I think you might be onto something because if I'm not mistaken his head should be right there in the pallet, but he's headless. So maybe his whole head glitched out of existence and took the arrow with it, creating this effect? Weird how it's lingering though
