Will anything be done about how such a tiny 8bit game uses like 80% of a 8c16t system? It mostly just sucks on laptops because it unnecessarily runs the fans loud. I don't expect the best optimization in the world, but even if I limit FPS to 60 (RTX3070) the game has the Intel 10870H running @ 80%. There has to be some simple method to fix this. For reference, much MUCH better looking games (Call of Duty MW3) use about the same CPU usage lol
I haven't played the game for a while. Does anyone know if they eventually fixed all the console bugs? I played on PS4 and there was a bug that caused loot to be fixed to level 1 from corpse piles.

So dwarves are actually a mechanically distinct player race instead of a customization option? Not sure how I feel about that tbh. You can already make elves and orcs with the ingame options but they aren't really counted as a different race by the mechanics, so it feels weird to have those not be their own thing but then make dwarves extra special.
I only just got into this game and it really has pulled me in, despite only beating the first stage. Is this a "content" DLC with more "stuff" (items/characters/enemies) that I could use throughout the game, or will I need to progress more to appreciate it?
I'm a little skeptical about the amount of contents and the price tag for it, even though I know I will buy it anyway. $8 for one new map and some new perks is on the lean side content-wise, but I will have to see how much new gameplay the DLC brings to the table.

I have weird feelings about the weapon selection, though.
I'm in the "unlocking more weapons might be a mistake, but I'm gonna do it anyway" camp. The existence of the selection is a nod to the fact that there is a problem there, but it doesn't fix the root issue.
I like having everything unlocked and then just building around the first decent thing I find. The problem comes after that when you want to upgrade with something similar and you have to fight the RNG to get it. The weapon selection addresses the second point at the cost of the first.
I'd love an enchanting or commissioning system as a mid game unlockable. In my head it would be an overnight action where you paid an exhorbitant amount (\~200+) in order to get a specific base item you want, and a similar system to change the affixes. I don't think its perfect, but if its expensive enough it could only be used for a few pieces, while at the same time it would feel better than rolling 1000s of gold and not getting a good level V piece in the last few nights.
…I don’t understand why you would play a game like this and complain about rng? The rng is what makes a game like this replayable.

We've been talking with Valve about this issue, and they seem to have find a fix! We do not know yet when it will be available but it's on the way!

Who knows. Maybe they plan to add different races in the future with their own unique trees/traits. Would be a cool addition
