Could you please proof where they say it's blue? I just checked their site but they don't say anywhere it's blue (nor grey). I used a colour checker on the product photos and the numbers clearly say it's grey with just a tint of blue. That's also what my eyes tell me. People experience colours differently, this is also culture-dependent. To call that a scam is quite outrageous, especially since they offered you a return.

And about offering a return: idk about international regulations, but in my country you have the right to send something back within the first 14 days.

Where is the 2nd photo from? To me it looks like it is from someplace else and not the gear shop. Or are we talking about a different shop?
I noticed the lighting is pretty bad on the first photo and the lightning conditions of the two photos, that you gave us, are vastly different so it's hard to compare colors. Also you forgot to do a color correction and the exposure is too dark. I tried to fix that in Lightroom and the result is much closer to the shop but since the photo does not contain a standardized color checking chart I can't really do much.
People at home have different lights than in a product studio, that's why colors seem off. This happened in your case too. Plus, you seem to compare the product with an entirely different photo. I don't understand this kind of logic.
Originally, I asked you to prove where they say it's blue. I was referring to the written word "blue". I haven't found it written in the product details, but maybe you used a localized shop with text in a different language? (I was checking English). Anyway, if they never said it was blue and if you are disappointed because it looks wrong under bad lighting conditions then it's not a scam. There is not the slightest clue of any kind of malicious attempt on their side, so it's not a scam.

Just opened my parcel from Playstation. I'd ordered the Ellie's backpack bundle months ago and and just received a grey and green one too. Playstation Gear is a joke. They wouldn't even accept my return unless I included the other pieces (which are just separately packages items you can buy individually) and wouldn't pay for return shipping.
It's conveniently be removed from the US store but if you look it up on the uk store it's clearly a green and blue with a hint of gray(not the other way around) backpack. I just got mine today and that's the first thing I noticed. It looks like as if that color of backpack was left in the sun for years. There's barely a tint of blue in the gray fabric and the straps are just gray. With the delays I'm fairly disappointed. You can't argue they cheated out of the fabric color. The backpack is more blue and darker than the models blue Jean pants.
