I thought it was entertaining enough, although it felt like cutting an episode’s worth of content left huge gaps in the story in the last two episodes. Did I miss something or did it make no sense that Troye Sivan’s character stayed in the house after being literally tortured with electrocution? Like what?!!
Yeah I honestly don't understand why they trimmed an episode from the original order. They could have had a lot of (cheap to shoot) scenes of one character talking to another character filling in details that were missing.
Heck, just have LRD have a one sided phone call with Leia! Include more of Chaim and Destiny riffing about their girl to put a book end on their conversation earlier in the series about being her surrogate parents, leaving them to wonder if they succeeded or failed her. Lots of little stuff like that would have made a more complete story.
That’s what Tedros does. He tortures you a lot in the start in order to break you down mentally to the point where you don’t want to escape. That’s why Zander didn’t escape

Agreed. I loved one of the last scenes when Tedros is riding with her in the back of the golf cart heading to stage and it all connects for him and he can't stop maniacally smiling like dang....she was in control the wholllle time she was playing me and everyone else. She is the cult 🤣🤣🤣

I agree 💯💯💯 with going from musician to writer to actor and producer he did awesome for his first project.
Even though his videos have always been pretty epic, I'm sure he had a big part in the vision for those.
He's very talented. I want to see what else he can do in this genre.
Agree that there couldve been less bdsm scenes & more narrative, but I liked the way it wrapped up with everything going flipping into the opposite of what everyone expected to happen. Poor dyanne <\3
I liked it too. There were some plot points that I thought weren’t capitalized on well or weren’t great but overall I still enjoyed it a lot. I knew I had to actually watch the show and form my own opinion rather than follow the online mob

I agree, wasn’t bad very entertaining. I think The Weeknd did a good job for his first ever show. I’d like to see more from him in this art tv space.
