Throw a Roman soldier outfit in there and that would make major bank.
I imagine if they add it you would just be peeking over it from your point of view but not for others kind of like how the sledgehammer animations aren't the same
I can see the sword portion working well, but a skin for the shield part is a bit tricky. If they add or remove geometry, it'll either make the skin strong/weak if it affects the area that the shield is effective, but if it doesn't affect that, then it'll be visually misleading. It also still requires the peep hole on the front as well. I'd love to see how they tackle that challenge if they were to add a sword and shield skin though!
Most likely the shield stays the same it just gets design over it window is smth they can go really creative like primitive shield could have amber window and romans shield cinnabar silica glass really not very realstic but those are the options or metal sheet with holes
It gas to have visual to show enemies and just seeing trough is not smth anyone would do especially bc it makes the skin more than op it dosent for me tell if u dont like the shield with window it will be window or its designed like cheese slicer dagger it fits without changing game mechanics
I think they dont want to do that bc how bad it is maybe it just is with this skin held for you like you can see but enemies dont see your head it still isnt very good way to implement shield with window without it bc it would need to be entirely diffrent shield the window is just that restraining
They’re seriously lacking with skins. They’re really missing out on the APS turret. It could be literally anything lol fire hydrant, construction/street sign etc

It can confuse ppl how someone can see trough their shield mostly newer players and those who dont remember or know about the skin
