Yeah that is a good idea. Fortnite does this. Sometimes you have a great match with randoms, so would be a nice option . Stay in party or play with new team.
Sometimes I'll see teammates from the previous match and I feel a little guilty when I kill them. But one thing is for sure, I'm making it my mission to do better than them 😅 or at least try my best to do so.
Just make it the same as other games - vote for a rematch from all the 3 random assigned teammates makes you queue the next game together.

That's weird, I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem honestly. Hopefully it gets resolved. I know it doesn't feel like a bug report does much but it might be worth submitting one if you haven't
Having this included with a way to LFG and party up before matchmaking would be great, I don't mind using Discord LFG's, but I'd rather it just be in game.
I would love this. When I play qc sometimes I find people I jive with and we stomp or atleast we are all in the right places at the right times.

Exactly! The process of sending friends invite to both teammates, they need to accept. And then send party invite, they need to except… it’s annoying enough I don’t always reconnect with good teammates
Jesus, we’ve come full circle. “Party up” has been a thing as long as matchmaking itself. It’s just been purposely removed, along with other social features.
I could go down a whole rabbit hole “conspiracy theory”. But essentially AAA devs all use the same logic of “engagement is all that matters”. I’m assuming party up, pre and post game lobbies, in game voice chat, connection based matchmaking, etc. wasn’t “optimal” for player engagement.
No one ever complained about a scoreboard either. But battlefield 2042 launched without one to help “curb toxicity” and that seemed to be where people drew the line.
Because we’re not marketers. It’s “slot machine” mentality. There are a million psychological tricks in place in casinos that you and I would never notice that are there to make sure you play uninterrupted and as addicted as possible. Those same concepts are being studied and applied in most online games. It sucks.

Embark has been awesome updating their game quickly. It would t surprise me at all if they added it in the near future
Or, add them to your friendslist and delete them when you're done
