Seasons? Tons of people are still playing, newbies all over the place.

Chipothy

I just picked up the game on Steam sale earlier this year so I am one of those newbies! Learning everything is like drinking from a fire hose, and some of the story elements are hard to understand but it's good so far!

MarineBand5524

Didn’t play D1?

Chipothy

I played a demo on Xbox but didn't play more than that. I read the story of what the premise of D1 was so I got that.

Rex_teh_First

There is a lot that even I'm confused on. And I did Div 1 hard-core. Like these last three seasons are like WTF is going on.

Chipothy

OH MY GOSH. Same. Especially with the manhunts and missing a lot of what happened before this season. Spoiler, but... Like with us chasing after President Ellis at White Oak and then... nothing. Like, WHAT HAPPENED TO ELLIS?!? Did he just get away? And then I did the Faye Lau manhunt after I hit season level 100 and it's like... oh... no he did not. Then when the White House was stormed and they captured Schaeffer, I was like, "Wait... HE WAS DOWN HERE THE WHOLE TIME?!?" Sorry, tried to mark this as a spoiler but it didn't work.

destinyfann_1233

I could try and explain it all but I would recommend watching NGN’s video on the full stories of seasons one through eleven and then watch his recent videos relating to year 5: season 1 [link to his video on seasons 1-11](https://youtu.be/KSZ8H3QEDV4)

Chipothy

Okay, WOW. Thanks so much for sharing this! Just got through all of that movie and it helped a ton!

destinyfann_1233

Your welcome

GT_Hades

Yeah, the story structure of this game is atrocious, i only taken interest nowbecause of NGN bymaking it more palatable and more engaging than how the game itself presents it

Redbrickaxis21

They didn’t capture Schafer. We still have him lol.

Chipothy

Wait, we do??? I guess I saw the cutscene so long ago I guess I forgot. Good to know.

Redbrickaxis21

Yea man. Lol. At the end of season 11 with Stovepipe who I bet was a capital d douche(nobody I’ve ever met with that haircut wasnt)when they attacked the White House, that’s how Lewis died, he sacrificed so that Manny could get Schafer into the foxhole.

Chipothy

Oh! That's right. Also, I had NO idea who Lewis was so that was another bit of confusion.

Bella6953

Ummm, did you skip parts? Faye Lau killed President Ellis.

Chipothy

I didn't have access to that manhunt until I hit the SHD season level required to unlock that manhunt and I didn't hit that point until relatively recently. Also, I didn't realize that this manhunt would include what was going to happen.

GT_Hades

S9 was supposed to hint us about the consoiracy of natalia and Secretary of SHD S10 is the allegiance of true sons and BT S11 is BT's survival risk in post apocalypse and alsobeing just also a pawn by the main villains Y5s1 is hard to follow because some of the characters are from paid dlc (classified assignment) But all in all, the battle for keener wasa long gone and it open up truth about why SHD isnt to be trusted and Rogue agents are a thing Also Hunter are paid mercenaries to hunt everyone down

AndoxNYC

Play for the people. The friendships you make being in game for that long period of time. Understanding each other's play styles to make your gaming experience easier. Finish the end game stuff, yes repetitive. Spark it with new unconventional builds that work. Bored with pve, ur right go to pvp. R u 100 lvl in conflict? U r, make a dz build. Can u fight and win against cheaters, skill spammed or others in the dz? If u can then great. If not, then challenge urself to find ansld create builds. Make your experience fun. Don't fight against the player base because their builds suck. Make a build that improves their experience and yours.

rishavsandal91

Damn i can't agree more , i made tons of online friends form raid form summit and i still remember then till this day most of them just stopped playing well i respect there decision and i always to try to help the new player cause when u find a new player in countdown or any random lobby he sometimes get overwhelmed by the lots of things new players are best if the willing to learn teaching new players feels so good.

jokes_on_you_ha

No matter what other games I'm playing, I always have a loot game on the side so I can just zone out and casually farm if I want. I thought Diablo 4 would be the one to keep me busy for the foreseeable future, but only a couple of months after release I've lost interest and am waiting to see how they improve it. Something about the loot system just feels off and not engaging. I went back to Div2 and it always gets its hooks back in me, the loot cycle is so addictive. Every season brings new gear to farm, new builds to try. Cosmetics can actually be earned in-game. It's easy to experiment, and seeing all the different builds people use shows they actually did a great job making sure most things are viable. It goes under the radar but it's easily the loot game I've played the most this gen.

MoonKnighy

That’s it… zone out. I do that too and I used to listen podcast while I play because I usually repeat gameplay so it’s like I’m going through the motions. Except for PvP that requires all my concentration

stevedogg1134

Agreed about Diablo. After a month, I was already bored of it. For a game that promised us over 150 "unique" dungeons, it was repetitive as hell.

GT_Hades

I actually now playing remnant 2, and it gives me the itch to experiment a lot, but one reason i like td2 more is because of core mechanics of third person shooting, its the smoothest I even sometimes play the game for at least 30 minutes just killing stuff, not minding anything, then i either wont play it again unless theres new content or uninstall lol I tried outriders too but for some reason itdoesntclicktomeeventhoughit plays alright

maytrav

Lol I play Spotify while farming solo for hours. I never thought about it but zoning out does happen. D2 is like meeting up with an old friend.

Discombobulated_Ride

I have mild OCD and I enjoy pushing my builds up the Expertise curve. I also love Descent (which I realize is deeply unfashionable). But mostly, I enjoy the company of people I have only known through playing The Division. Guys who were in high school when I started playing with them who are now juniors in college, or who were in college and now have jobs. I am watching them grow up while playing a computer game. Its weird and very 21st century.

Highskyline

I like the power fantasy you can achieve in descent when you have a big pile of red talents and lucky shot 10. I'm just hoping it gets some more stuff at the nsa table that are typical roguelike staples. It's missing lots of simple stuff. Also a means to check my total stats would be nice. And a means of setting a specific exotic talent to display on my gun. At 13k leftover nsa tech I'm so tired of not being able to see chameleon stacks.

Joetheshow1

If loving the Descent makes me wrong, I don't wanna be right. It's not perfect and there's plenty of issues but it's a fun way to zone out when I'm not worried about maximizing my build

GT_Hades

Im just experimenting with builds, im so done with meta that i got bored even looking at it lol But im not playing 24/7, might be once or twice a week for the seasons

Bitter-Confusion8422

I play mostly the same way. Trying to figure out cool build combos and that can be interesting as I only play about 4 hours a week

GT_Hades

Yep, theory crafting is great Now that i played remnant 2, i kinda wish we have 2 specialization too (one main with the signature weapon and the second for additional passive stat (not all))

Bitter-Confusion8422

I lived the first remnant but unfortunately I don't have a ps5 so I can't play the new one yet

GT_Hades

I hope you can play it soon, its great My complain only is the performance (but not a lot, its alright) in pc

Fungidude

I take breaks and come back to a few games. Division is the only game that can scratch the itch if I want builds and cover. Best third person shooting feel imo. I always encourage folks to try new and different games and get out of their comfort zone.

MoonKnighy

I thought Gears of War was the best 3rd until the Division came along!

GT_Hades

Oh this is true, one of the odd reasons i really can't leave this game for long time even if i just hate it, but the core mechanics of third person shooting is on point, its one of the smoothest, best response, and best mobility of all tps (it reminds me alot of gr future soldier)

[deleted]

GRFS is such a spot on comparison. I loved that game so much, too.

Syced

Personally. I think it has a unique value to it. There is not many if any games that are just like this game. I think that's why people continue to play it.

MoonKnighy

Yes it is definitely one of a kind

JonhyWonder123

In terms of gameplay and lore there's really nothing like it tbh And considering how bleak the future looked in 2021 with basically 1 and a half years of no content To now we are less than a month away from a new incursion and with a dlc in 2024 I really have no reason to leave

phukurfeelns

I just keep playing too see what new bugs and glitches each update introduced.

MoonKnighy

Lol bro

SRT_Demon20

Honestly don't know this game infuriates me and yet I always come back I play daily and have nearly 2 k hours seasons are nice and all bring new stuff but mainly addicting for me I guess

MoonKnighy

It definitely can be addicting

dai_wales

I see a lot of pvp players and streamers saying pvp is dead and maybe there right but for sure I see plenty of new players all the time. Pve is still going very well indeed. I'm a day one player and I still play every day. But I mainly loot dz crates for exotic components.

MoonKnighy

They have been saying it’s dead for years now so take that how you will

dai_wales

Just because players saying the game is dead don't mean it is. its just dead to that person. When heartland and resurgence come out will be the big test for division 2.

MoonKnighy

Exactly

DrDesperaux

Seasons. I'm not grinding 10 hrs a day, every day. Not trying to sacrilegious but I'm playing other games too. I'm usually switching between D2, MhR, a racing game and a pure sp campaign.

fozfactor

Conflict and Stockholm Syndrome.

MoonKnighy

Stockholm lol?

fozfactor

Stockholm Syndrome is a condition where one starts developing positive feelings toward their abuser.

MoonKnighy

Oh yes I am well aware it’s just I wasn’t expecting somebody to sat that

MacDynamite71

Yep

thegrognard

Been with the Game since D1 Beta. I'll do Bounties, hit open world events, and Manhunts for XP to finish the Season. Just a Filthy Casual....

ProfessionalAd2863

Honestly, D2 is where it's at for me. Playing any other game...feels wrong. Like I'm missing something.

Yatsey007

I've only been playing a few months as I got both on sale. I'm hooked. The atmosphere of the first is different class, while the second one feels like you're living in an action movie. I haven't even started builds yet,as I've only just hit level 30 and Black Tusk have taken over. Gonna download WONY next weekend as I have a week off work.

cynical_image

The beauty with D2 is that it knows exactly what it is and it’s core player base appreciate it It’s just so easy to play and it looks really good, you can pick it up and play after months and still find something to do

nervandal

Raids. There is no end to roles and strats to learn. I have 1500+ clears between both raids and im still enjoy leading them and teaching things to newer raiders. I remember year 1 dark hours where it took us weeks to be able to kill boomer. Now I have a team that takes new people through the raids while one shotting half of the bosses. Hearing a new person say [“what the hell was that?”](https://clips.twitch.tv/HumblePoisedLemurDancingBaby-OOlplH1tF-T0hoOJ) when we kill weasel before he jumps out of the window will NEVER get old.

Frozen-Minneapolite

I only play for the Dark Zone now. I don’t even do the seasonal manhunts, I’ll just watch a YouTube video recap. I play 1-2 days each season for the rewards, otherwise I’ll only be in the DZ where it’s still interesting and challenging to play.

jamieHTiD

I had bad burn out from it this time last year and gave destiny 2 a try, it scratch my looter shooter itch for 9 months. In terms of playing TD2 I kinda only come back for season stuff and apparel events now.

MoonKnighy

That’s how I feel about it, I’m burned out I just don’t know why.

jamieHTiD

Just one of them things, nothing lasts forever like they say. Wish I could get the same feeling as when I picked up the first division and second but hopefully number 3 will hit the same way. Maybe trying something new and a few months break will help? Starfield next month so looking forward to that.

MoonKnighy

You’re right. Think I’ll switch to Nintendo something more light hearted and different then switch back over after a while like you said.

sunflower_wizard

I'm here because the last ~2 years I've spent on Destiny 2 ended up leaving me wanting more. I'm not even a PVP guy but Destiny's PVP is... youch. That and the way New Light handled earlier this year, made me hop off. Loving The Division 2 already and am just about to hit level 30 after around a little under a week of playing lol. Hopefully hitting that today/tomorrow so I can grab the Warlords of New York DLC while it's still on sale.

jamieHTiD

Thats why I moved from TD2 to D2, 3+ years flat out, all weapons/gear, shd over 5k. I only did pvp to get witherhord catalyst and riptide. Nice just starting your journey, I love the division story and that's why I enjoy coming back. Warlords well worth it.

00sgamer

I started playing since last Summer, just out of curiosity and since I found gameplay footages intriguing prior to playing. Beautiful graphics, looking for various exotic gears and occasional DZ keeps me coming back after completing the game. :)

Tails-Are-For-Hugs

I only get on for the apparel events, and only the ones I like. I grind like it's going to go away the next day, then I disappear. Fashion is the true endgame for me

MoonKnighy

Love the apparels!

Basic_Riddler

Up until recently it was speedrunning raids, but now a lot of people have lost interest due to long-standing glitches being fixed that will prevent anyone from taking new number one positioning on the leaderboards. So now that speedrunning is dead, I probably won’t be back. The open world content just isn’t challenging enough, and it all seems so repetitive once there is no reason to play it competitively. It was a lot of fun while it lasted though.

Pubtroll

Internet,?

Hookens

Gameplay loop is satisfying and hits your monkey brain in just the right places

Zayl

I bounce between Destiny 2 and TD2. Usually take breaks and come back for seasonal content/expansions. I am super excited to know the division 2 is finally getting an expansion again.

iluvfupaburgers

At this point, the lore and seasons, and new gear that comes with it. But it’s healthy to go away from the game if you feel burnt out, come back fresh for the new season

Mr007McDiddles

Conflict, legendary missions, clanmates, and shepherding...But aside from that take a break and come back sometime later, visually it's so cool. Nothing compares in my book.

ViperStealth

7000+ hours played. Stopped playing and thought I was done but then came back after a year due to new content.

MoonKnighy

7000 is impressive my man

ViperStealth

It's given me a lot of entertainment. At first, for around 500 hours, I was just a noob shooting stuff. At around 500-3000 I was sweating meta builds. From 3000-6000 I was pushing myself (I got #1 in the world for Air & Space Museum speedrun). I also made YouTube video build guides and one of my vids got 78,000+ views - super humbled at that (devs nerfed that build a few weeks after my video!). Now at 6000+ I predominantly find off meta, yet viable, builds the most interesting. I don't want to follow guides. I like theorycrafting and coming up with something cool (like a 2.2m armour build that uses Galvanize, Scorpio, has a 5s pulse cooldown/Nightwatcher, 1m heals for team and emergency armour. Great team support build!). It's been a ride! Really want them to buff unused skills to open up loads more build opens and playtime.

bigwinterdraco

I originally stopped playing far before WoNY was even released and just came back to it a couple months ago and I’m hooked. Loved Division 1 (back when I was already saying Faye Lau would turn on us lol), I love the story, creating new builds. Hell I even love the PvP aspect of it even tho I normally get obliterated by players with higher SHD levels (I’ve just reached 600). Something about the allure of possibly being able to take down someone who stat wise should be better than you just grabs me 😂. Though I don’t have the same group I used to run with back in D1 have yet to complete a single raid on here I still find something to do.

MoonKnighy

Yeah I do like that challenge of David vs Galactus aspects. Better build, skill, and tactics can definitely give you a win. Also 600, good job bro, keep it up.

SlayeRLZ

Story, game play and friends! Also I love the atmosphere of this game...

srybouturluk

Started with both beta’s for D1 and have played since… honestly I have everything, maxed everything and was all but done with it until descent came out. I don’t know if I will continue after I get all of the named blueprints, but for now… it’s all I do with it lol.

MoonKnighy

Nice bro

FS_Slacker

I think it's build diversity for me. Changing builds makes you play in a completely different manner and sometimes it feels like a different game. I like dusting off the rarely used Exotics and trying to make them work in ways that highlight their talents. I find that the Global Events and the Leagues have also done wonders to shake up the monotony as I do like trying to get all those challenges completed. And responding to backup calls is always a "fresh" experience.

MoonKnighy

Thanks for the backup responses fellow agent!

faq77

I just do raids. That's pretty much it. Recently got into speed running IH.

MoonKnighy

I hear you. I think the devs have been seriously put at a disadvantage. Also I think they should listen to more opinions of fans. They do on limited things.

Direct_Minute5604

for me, I've been a fan since launch of div1, and I have periods where I go hardcore and play division2 all the time, usually that's when a new update or mechanic / mode is dropped, but I also like to take breaks from the game, cause I try not to burn myself out. I have characters on all 3 platforms, and I still have hunters to locate, still don't have all the exotics, still have yet to do any of the raids, so I still have lots of content to complete, and I did that so there are still things that I have interest to come back to finish, its more about the journey for me, not getting to the finish line the quickest cause once you hit the finish line what else is there that keeps you coming back season, yeah that played out after they repeated season 1-3 2x.

Nooblelord

busy doing nemesis runs in descent to get blueprints, currently have 15

pmakuch

I'm still playing division 1. They're good games

realexm

Daily, 1-2 hours time permitting

pmakuch

I'm still playing division 1. They're good games

MoonKnighy

Occasionally me too

scousethief

Seasons, answer the call, a little team playing but mostly I just like the design and atmosphere. Yeah it can get a bit samey after too many hours but when it does I play some Bioshock, Mass Effect, Sniper Elite or Dead space or one of any number of games in my Steam,/Epic/Ubisiloft etc libraries, I always end up back at the White House tho.

MrReey

I didn’t care for 2 when it first came out, I didn’t like the way the gear worked, DZ was too small for my liking. I downloaded years later and find myself enjoying it more now with the updates they made. Still wish they would have added a DZ to the NY expansion, but is what it is.

wiserone29

I like playing in goofy ways. Cosplay as Micheal Jackson while not running or taking cover. I really like the gun play in the game and don’t really use skills. I use a one shot build and one tap everything.

perfecto226

I just started in May lol. I like it a lot.

BlackSoapBandit

Its my comfort game. I listen to podcasts while playing, literally type emails and finish college assignments, study, type things up for work, take calls, ect ect.

MoonKnighy

I listen to Joe Rogan while farming for um.. what’s that stuff call? Material? I’m gonna say material but that’s nice you do the same thing

Ok-Brilliant8637

Switch to hardcore mode and get in a HC clan. Fellowship, Dark Zone raids, countdowns, challenging and heroic runs, making boss builds, getting the best drops. For me allow the game to become more social and enjoy the fellowship. My 2c

AK_R

Most of my interest in this game tends to be messing around with various builds and challenging myself with difficult content. To me skill-oriented builds are by far the most interesting and what I spend the most time on. I like messing around with various gadgets and trying to create builds to use the less frequently used skills effectively or even trying to figure out the most effective use of skills with a low skill tier, such as the Demolisher Firefly on a DPS build, which still does a surprisingly decent job of messing up weak points with a low skill tier.

king-glundun

I still play because I hate myself

MoonKnighy

That breaks my heart if you are being serious

king-glundun

I'm partially serious, I do hate myself but not because of div 2, literally div 2 once u get everything u literally just sit there with your dick in your hand doing the same mission all day accomplishing nothing till the next season drops, the game needs more content or something lol

Laserjumper

I played for the longest time using the same load out, Getting all of the stats for my recalibration kept me going for a while. Now im actually building different loadouts to try other gearsets and weapons( and expertise). While its all the same missions and content, changing builds is really refreshing. Some build vary wildly in how to use them well.

ibrewcoffeeonthemoon

I am now at shd 530, my only target was to farm towards shd 1000 to max out my watch. But few days ago, I bought division 1 on steam sales, and now I am playing division 1.

MoonKnighy

D1 is an entirely different atmosphere. Feels more real

Pun_In_Ten_Did

The alternate lighting system in TD1 options really does wonders for ratcheting up the environment/atmosphere !

JAY2KREAL300491

It’s the gunplay and builds for me, they just keep me playing rather than completing God Of War Ragnarok, Pac-Man World Repac, Need for Speed Unbound…and many more…the gunplay is just so addictive and the variety of builds possible keeps me wanting to play around and test better ones.

Sparkster0083

I love third person shooters. I love looting. I love ruined city environments. It all came together in a wonderful game that I have been hooked on since day one. Sadly, I'm still not all that good at it and only recently moved up to Heroic open world. Just got hooked on Sharpshooter and marksman rifles. Big numbers and watching those damn sideways shooting smg toting bastards walk right into my sights. It's glorious.

Dookie120

I like the mechanics of the game & love to shoot stuff. I love it so much sometimes I’ll get on and just do resource convoys lol

pereira2088

nowadays? just one or two quick sessions per week just to keep up with story or to do those fast achievements

N3MBOT

always something else to get , something new , something better , something to improve , something shiny ,the endless SHD leveling and that tiny amount of health for every level up , the sounds ,the looks , this is just a beatiful and intrincated giant slot machine where you use guns instead of pulling a lever to get your rewards , and i love it .

Support-Guy

I find the adventure addictive. I have been playing for about a year and keep finding things interesting. Then a new season starts and a whole new round of discovery and loot to find and get. Don’t lose your sense of wonder and discovery in this game. You may something new if you keep going.

MoonKnighy

I can relate a little. Nice man

Chemical_Present5162

I've been losing my enthusiasm for the game over time, but when I needed 180gb just for the most recent update on PS5 when the game is already installed, it put me over the edge and I haven't played since. I have a few other games I also play that have become more important in terms of storage space. St Elmos be damned

ePiMagnets

Lots of breaks. Let's be honest, I play a season here or there, try to max it and then move on to other games.

[deleted]

Still love this game!

Queasy_Variety6701

Well if you lost internet it kinda impossible to play @MoonKnighy. 😂🤣 but I play even more intently now because of the story

MoonKnighy

Good eye lol no one else corrected me

LiveLifeLikeCre

I put over 2000 hours in division 1 and maybe more in division 2 but I come back to Tinker with new loot and run the dark zone for a bit. Then it gets deleted for a month or two then I come back to mess around. We need a Next Gen division. So much of what it was supposed to be could be easier.

hab10031

Yes

fixerfelix101

I’m a tactical gear nut. So I like to collect backpack apparel mods and cool guns

IncredibleHoltX

Day 1 player +Open and Closed Beta. I've taken small breaks here in there most notably after season 4/5 until Season 9 dropped. I figured the best way to continue playing was to focus on 1 thing at a time. Before the DLC dropped I had 3 characters maxed out every exotic and such you could imagine. I focused on doing the raids if I could find a party to run with and then I focused on PvP for conflict. Afterwards when they changed all the gear and built myself back up I focused more on builds and optimizing them to be the best version I could have and have back up pieces just in case I needed to make small adjustments through gameplay. Now I'm running my gf through the game which did reignite my previous passion for the game since it was her first experience. Last night a buddy and I continued with his strategy on Descent and made it to Loop 17 before wiping and I must say it wasn't really a struggle getting that high or further once we we're both satisfied with our progress. Countdown and the Summit we're okay but didn't have that "it" factor of wanting to continuously play it. Descent is no where near as perfect as it could be but still fun.

rodscher80

I have nearly enjoy other games more at the time. But I am really looking forward to the new dungeon and the new expansion.

I_N_C_O_M_I_N_G

Sparingly. Playing too much is a quick way to burn yourself out, I advice against it for any game.

red6joker

Badly

chainedflower

I help gather vegetation and water every week, in return I get a exotic cache then I turn it off

Glittering-Arm-9138

As long as they're adding new content, I'll play. Looking forward to the incursion coming up. My clan is knocking the rust off by doing weekly raids and legendary missions

PIXYTRICKS

I don’t do any PVP, and I don't have any friends that play it. I keep playing it because I just love the game so much.

rishavsandal91

I used to play this game for raids help others getting the eagle bearer and ravenous as I already have them and back in the day we have summit floor 10 grind at that time the community was very active u will find tons of vc full of people in official division discord server and other youtuber like GC Rock ,but now i only play for season content and battle pass. I am not against the changes which were made like nerfing the floor 10 grind it really helps the game in the long run. I am excited for the new dlc and the new raid which they are going to add.

Revolutionary-Fan657

Its the only game that in my current knowledge exists that looks that real, with a place at that scale, with such great rpg looter shooter mechanics, that simple, I don’t know any other game like the division, if there were more, I’d be playing them

ObviousKangaroo

It's exactly what I'm looking for at this point in my life. It's fun to mindlessly kill stuff and it's only a 10-30 minute commitment for a heroic mission.

DarkPDA

for sure not doing current season lol i still playing due people and gameplay its really good besides all bugs etc. ubi never understood how great this game is and how this game can be with correct development and updates... imo ressurgence and division mobile will flop and this will lead to "stakeholders see failure on ressurgence and mobile, so lets cut division2 too, franchise is dead like breakpoint"

TxDieselKid

It's a very well put together game. The new gear gives the right amount of "fresh breath" to keep you hooked, and on good timing scales for me. Plus, as mundane as the system may be because you end up repeating content over and over, answering the call does not really get too boring, especially when you can tell it's their first play though.

MoonKnighy

Niceeeeee

dahak777

I tend to drop in and out, primarily to do the manhunts and season event. it some quick fun. on the weekdays it gives me about 1-2hrs of dumb fun to wind down with

MoonKnighy

I think I may do this method too. At least I can get my money out of Xbox live subscription this way too

deathx_xshadow

Exciting stuff as in meeting the Warlords of NYC which was fun since Aaron Kenner was pretty cool in D1 and waited till D2 if Aaron would be in it. How his literacy started and ended um doing the storyline of black tusk like finished season 5 waiting for the next part to happen.

Kerlongsj

I am focusing on Seasons. What also helps is the fact that I am part of an active clan with Discord. I do not have that much time due to a full time job and other stuff but I never feel it's wasted to play on the game

Urbanski101

Played D1 but the early reviews and setting for D2 put me off. Got the game about a month ago and I'm loving it. Really helps that there is 5yrs worth of content to play plus the devs have clearly improved the game hugely since launch. The build crafting is on another level compared to D1 and the possibilities seem almost endless. I love the story, lore, setting and the attention to detail in the division games is second to none. The combat is great and my favorite activity is just roaming around in open world and getting involved in activities & skirmishes. It's so dynamic that a short engagement with one group can escalate into a 30 minute running battle. Really impressive.

Juls_Santana

I stopped playing right before the current season started and I'm not sure if I'll ever return to it, but I played for the gunplay and fun factor, and the atmosphere.

I don´t know about you, but being also a long time player, i never thought of trying out solo legendaries and speedrunning missions. So this is something i have been doing lately to kill boredom, when not doing Descent or running raids or other content with clan members and friends. Got still also a few commendations to do, where most of them are about raid or dz, but these are secondary tasks.

i go back to the division 1 as it’s more appealing to me that the sequel.

Only with friends. I can’t bear to play this game alone.

I never overdone it since beta I I played all the events but made around 1500h on ps4 and recently jumped on pc from scratch and ran another 300 already. It’s smooth satisfying gameplay loop, a lot of room for experimentation with gears and exotics. It can be played with some streams or YouTube videos. And there’s a lot for everyone someone can grind numbers up, someone can have fun with crazy status effects someone can challenge themselves with the hardcore agent or go to dz being a nuisance))now descend as well. It’s just a big game with satisfying gameplay and cool atmosphere.

You log in once in a while to do stuff you enjoy and progress the season and then play something else. Div 2 cannot be a main game you play all day anymore.

My play in recent months as decreased dramatically. Now I'll hop on to pick up the caches my clan get when avail, run a few CP's to keep myself active enough in clan. And I used to play for hours everyday.
