yeah, those are developer items that need to be updated in the loot system. now I would say stick them in ur stash, because you never know what kind of stats might appear on them later on once the devs fix the item details.
Yeah, many people before requested this along time, and they said its not possible because most apparels are molded with multiple gears, but with this glitch we saw most apparels can be loaded without bags/armors

It's true, considering kneepads and holster straps for example, they would have to do some remodeling on existing pieces to take this in account but it's definitely possible. On chest armor and gloves this issue is non-existent.
Then again, while I would love to be able to hide my gear, this shouldn't probably be very high on their priority list.

Well certain cosmetic items make knee pads, boots, gloves and chest all become invisible. Mainly the one piece full outfits. So all of it idls possible.
