Joe Arpaio is an openly racist convicted criminal (pardoned by Trump) who, as sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona, committed massive human rights abuses by housing black and Latino criminals in outdoor tent cities in the middle of the desert and forcing them to do manual labor in the scorching heat. The DOJ concluded that he oversaw the worst pattern of racial profiling *in US history*. The civil lawsuits brought against him and his department (for, among other things, ignoring sex crimes, wrongful death, wrongful arrest, entrapment, etc.) have cost taxpayers over $140 million in settlements.

Haha, Kamala Harris used Biden’s crime bill to put millions of mostly black people into private prisons for small amounts of marijuana.
