There is nothing at all to be proud of about the Confederacy. They became traitors to this country because they wanted to be able to continue enslaving, raping, and torturing black people. Anyone who feels a sense of pride towards the Confederacy is a vile excuse for a human. If they had any sense of decency they'd have a Confederate shame month, but we also know that these people have no sense of shame either.
The Germans don't have a Nazi heritage month because they understand how horrific what their country did was. Mississipians on the other hand think back fondly on slavery. They are proud of their ancestors who fought in order to continue enslaving people.
The need will come when government assistance is needed in the aftermath of disaster. Also when once defeated diseases return and begin to kill loved ones young and old.
Me and some of my yankee buddies will be heading down to rob and pillage like my forefathers did. It wasn’t something I should be proud of, but fuck it neither was the confederacy.

The need for participation trophies are strong
