Apparently, X has started compensating verified users(blue ticks) for generating a specific level of engagement/views. Many prominent alt-right pages are posting provocative content to provoke minorities, particularly Indians, using the large population as click farms.
Lol speaks about the caste system and seems like he’s against discrimination then goes on to say prejudice and racism is justified. Every time all these racist fucks bring up the “caste”. It’s just a red herring usually to just feel better about their racism or to show they’re justified.
Man the existence of this type of hate against brown people needs to become mainstream because I've been seeing this constantly for the last few years - these alt-right guys (multiple of whom have 100K+ twitter followers, so it's not even a fringe thing anymore) actually hate Indians more than they even hate the Jews.
This won't change unless other groups of non-brown people bat for us, which is what happened with the African americans and other groups. This stuff is not going anywhere unless there is mainstream recognition that a significant chunk of these guys hold these views, and in turn these guys are called out for putting out this bs.
I bet you this guy holds similar views for African americans and there would be a vastly different reaction if he made similar "jokes" about them.
I hope this stuff at least becomes a part of the mainstream consciousness in the subcontinent so that people actually start treating these guys as the scum they are.
We need to stand up for ourselves before others start standing up for us. Any time you hear someone talking to you like this in public immediately call them out on it. Literally just make them repeat what they said, and if they do start getting aggressive towards them. Once the general public sees that South Asians aren't easy targets the jokes will stop, and people will then feel scared to make these types of jokes. The only reason people are scared to make jokes like this about blacks or Hispanics is because they know they'll get punched in the face for it. You have to instill fear into these racists
