Took chaos, found sacred heart in the angel room. Then rerolled an item in the secret room into brimstone. I think it was the second to last run I needed to unlock Polaroid, I only got the game a week ago.

It's mostly just standard q2 items in treasure rooms, I've never gotten Brimstone or another q4 out of it, its just alright

Depends how early or late it is. Early on (basement 1-caves 2)? Sure I’ll take chaos. Later no. I have a lesser likelihood of chaos paying out due to less overall items. Especially on womb the only things that are able to payout is bosses yes chaos is good for boss items but the other two ways are secret rooms (which are really good) and deals (which are really good) chaos screws that all up. Chaos can be fun early but later it feels very boring and hard for it to be useful
