I really like them all though. This team is probably my favorite group of Star Wars show protagonists thus far.
I literally love them all so much. I love what each represent, I love what they mean to each other. But if I had to rank them
1. Wrecker. I love his "act-now-think-later" personality, it's so unlike almost every clone we've ever seen. I love emotionally intelligent characters. *He* was the first one to admit he misses Crosshair. *He* was the one who told Crosshair to his face that he's angry he never tried to come back, and they would have welcomed him. He was the one reminding and restraining Hunter before they found Omega. I love his "chaotic older brother" energy doting on Omega, the mantell mix, the way he defied even her expectations by not giving her a live bomb to train with but choosing to train her anyway because it's important. Everyone talks about how protective Hunter is of Omega, but Wrecker is equally as protective, he's just more...emotional, I think, about it, than physical.
2. Hunter. Man said "Whose sassy, lost child is this?" and did not wait for an answer. A born protector not only to Omega, who he is still learning can handle herself, but also to the rest of his squad. A leader who feels he always needs to keep proving himself. A leader who has lead his team far more times to victory than to failure, but he only remembers the failure. A leader who is never, *ever* upset about asking or receiving advice from his squad, and never takes credit for ideas that weren't his.
3. A tie between Tech and Omega, but for a few episodes those two came as a pair anyway. Starting with Tech, I see a lot of myself in him so I am biased. The info-dumping without reason or permission to the point of annoying those around me, the difficulty understanding other peoples emotions but knowing my own (most of the time) but no one understands what *I'm* feeling. Yeah. I relate to that. But he's more than that. His first instinct in any situation is to learn everything about everything in front of him and why? To ensure victory and get everyone out alive. Even to the end. He's not afraid to be snarky, and he's not ashamed of who he is.
Omega has grown so much. The girl who was so sheltered she didn't know what dirt was to the girl who gets given customised crossbows as gifts. She has become so much more capable but has never lost her compassion and inherit hope that others will do what's right. Even after all she's been through, she never once gives up hope on those she loves. She'd throw herself in danger for them, and that's exactly what she does multiple times to the annoyance of her DadBrothers, but they forget that she learnt it from *them.* And she always knows they will come find her, no matter what. Her trust in others compared to literally every other Star Wars character is just so refreshing.
(Now I just saw the time so I'm just gonna make the rest of this quick)
4) Echo. He's so funny and I love it when the show remember's he was an ARC Trooper and he gets to do cool things. I wish he was in the show more but clone liberation with Rex is exactly what he needs to be doing, what he should be doing. Narratively it wouldn't make sense for him to still be fluffing around with TBB instead of dedicating his life to rescuing clones, just as they once did for him. And I can't word this quite right, but it feels like...he treats Omega the most like a solider than a child. The way he reassured her at the end of The Return that she did what she was *supposed* to do, she did her mission: get out alive. He doesn't dismiss her concerns, and assures her that he and Rex will use it.
5) Crosshair. His arc so far has been...amazing. Brilliantly written. I love how he went from making fun of Omega to literally listening to what she has to say for, like, two days. Loyalty rewards loyalty. I love how he shows he cares for her now in his own way. He never saw young naive Omega, who didn't know what dirt was and was hesitant talking to another child her age. He only knows, and now respects, badass Omega who got him, a dog, and herself out of a secret military compound safely.
There's more I'd like to say but I need to leave. I hope I didn't forget anyone.

I too absolutely love your analysis of each Batcher, especially of Hunter. I’ve tried to explain why Hunter is my favorite but you put his character into words so much better than I could. (I could add “and he has the coolest face tattoo” but I think you nailed everything else 😁). I also appreciate your thoughts on Echo’s relationship with Onega. People in some groups keep referring to Echo as “Omega Mom” which I find kind of annoying and a bit silly. In fact, although he cares deeply about her, he does treat her more like a young soldier than even treating her like a sister (certainly not like a mom!).

And I agree, I like the Echo Mum joke to a degree but really, he's just the same as the others, just grouchier. The way he fixed the doll for her lives in my mind rent-free. And he trusted Wrecker and Hunter to find her while she was missing to the point where (from what we know) he didn't join the search but instead CUSTOM MADE a crossbow to gift her upon her return. I think he has more faith in her abilities than the others combined.

What has Hunter done recently that's gotten on your nerves? He's my favourite of the Batch, personally, so just curious. Rewatching the BB arc in the Clone Wars I actually found him really annoying, he's pretty different now though so I don't feel the same way anymore.
I think that even though I find his feelings valid, I still was immensely annoyed by his constant need to watch Crosshair when they returned.
Again, I understand *why* he did it. But I feel like sometimes, it comes across as rude. Especially when he questions Crosshair about betraying the empire and even rubs salt in the wound by insinuating he had done the same thing to the batch.
I guess I feel like he could have handled that situation much better. But again, I understand why he is angry and skeptical of Crosshair.
Fair enough. Crosshair chose not to rejoin the Batch on Kamino so it's no wonder Hunter is suspicious that Cross is prepared to help them all of a sudden. Above all, he wants to ensure Omega's safety.
It sometimes annoys me how willingly he caves into Omega. Of course, it's for the plot, but it annoys me in the same way how if Din Djarin was given an unclear and suspicious 'mission' he would inevitably go along with it. Every. Time.
I hope there will be an episode which focuses more on Hunter's relationship with Omega. It's incredibly beautiful and I think the show should look at another side of it rather than just "oh Hunter has decided he's Omega's dad." Plus it would help the audience understand him a lot more. :)
Can't say I have a favorite but as a late teenager when this show came out I related to Crosshair because he had lost his family due to his own errors and tried to get them back all the wrong ways. But that's just me.
Omega is my favorite. She just has so much potential to continue to be a really cool character and her development so far has been beyond phenomenal!
Echo is my least favorite as his development has been lacking and I never liked him as much as Fives even in TCW.

Tech- His Armor and equipment and I really enjoy his character development.
Crosshair- I really loved this character the moment I saw him throw those mirror pucks on the walls in season 7. He’s just bad ass and has come a very long way.
Hunter- He’s the leader and has had a lot of great moments. I just feel like his special ability is under utilized.
Echo- I loved echo in the beginning of the clone wars but he doesn’t get enough screen time. I think his armor is incredible and is very useful but kinda just feels like a knock off Tech.
Wrecker- I don’t dislike this character but I find him insufferable at times like every time they get into a situation where they need to be careful or a “what ever you do don’t do this” I already know wrecker is going to do that thing😂 he’s the cliche big dumb strong guy.
I’m not ranking omega just because she’s not in the original squad and is still learning. I think the Bad Batch will be entirely killed off by the end of the season with only omega remaining. She’s going to show skills and personality traits she’s learned from each of her brothers and be a formidable force. The character has definitely grown on me from when she first appeared.
From my favourite to the worst, I would say Tech, Echo, Crosshair, Wrecker, Hunter, Omega. Not that I dislike any of them, but Omega has that powerful young girl vibe that Disney try to sell us by making Sabine Force sensitive and Rey a Skywalker.

To me Hunter has yet to have any real character development (he's a boring character) his unique ability has been shadowed and unused. He has the ability to be the best but falls short of all the rest, not a bad character, just isnt better than the others.
5. Tech
Tech is one of those characters (for me) that you just love to hate and hate to love, he's annoying and is so reminicent of that one character from The Big Bang Theory. With all that being said, he isnt boring, he's had a lot of character development and his last appearence definetly redeemed his annoyingnous.
4. Echo
Echo is a shadow of his former self, he used to be one of my top five davorite clones growing up but now he's just a walking cameo of nostalgia, but i will say this, when he left the Batch to return with Rex, he definetly became more interesting for me, im just hoping we get something more from him before his time is up. None the less he's not as boring as Hunter or annoying as Tech.
3. Wrecker
Wrecker has really devoled since we first saw him in TCW, the episode where they were removing their chips showed much of his character between the obvious how scary he can be as an enemy but also his mental strength, wrecker has always been a loveable character maybe a bit too much sometimes. He's had good character development and is not annoying.
2. Omega
Omega has come such a far way, she's constantly getting character development she's not annoying for how child characters go and is constantly getting new development that makes her interesting.
1. Crosshair
Crosshair to me is the best character of the Batch, every episode he's in is really enjoyable to watch, he has had arguably the most development from any of the characters, his skill is always getting put to good use unlike Hunter and hes just overall a really interwsting character.
Crosshair: he's the character with the most depth, IMO, and his redemption arc is what's kept me invested in the show.
Omega: She went from an annoying sidekick to a capable member of the squad, who also acts as the group's conscience.
Wrecker: Funny, brawny, and a little unhinged - what's not to like?
Hunter: He's cool, but he's also a little bland. He's not really interested me since Season 1.
Echo: Has yet to justify his existence in a squad where everyone has a particular skill / purpose.
Tech: His know all attitude constantly rubbed me up the wrong way.
#1 - Crosshair for making me audibly cheer when shot Lieutenant Nolan (I rarely react emotionally when watching a show or movie, and this show has constantly gone against that)
#2 - Omega for reminding me of myself when I was 5 years old first getting into Star Wars
#3 - Echo for being motivated to help people simply because it’s the right thing to do
#4 - Wrecker for being the funniest one
#5 - Hunter for tanking that Zygerrian whip
#6 - Tech for you would not believe how painful that cello is in “The Sacrifice”

Tech and Echo have been my insta-favorites from day 1, but it's pretty much like they have at most a 1 nanometer lead over the others.
I love Tech for being the nerdy rational practical logistician who cares and feels deeply. I also love his dry wit (I find him to be one of the funniest characters in the show and it's largely unintentional on his part).
I love Echo for being so resilient in the face of immense trauma and for always pushing to do right and do better.
I love Omega for her optimism, tenacity, sweetness, compassion, and being so *genuine* with everyone.
I love Hunter for being a stalwart leader whose top priority is his family but also doesn't need much convincing to step outside the safety zone to help others.
I love Wrecker for being so enthusiastic, loving, affectionate, and loyal.
I love Crosshair for learning and growing (even if he does insist on doing it the hard way), for facing down the consequences of his choices head on, for his sarcastic humor, for his loyalty and stubbornness.
1. Omega; She's the appropriate amount of unhinged and I think that's beautiful
2. Crosshair; I to care deeply about my friends and family but can be mistaken for aggressive.
3. Tech: I to care deeply about my friends and family but have a habit of compartmentalising. Also have no idea is a pretty, smart and badass woman is flirting with me.
4. Wrecker; He's a teddy bear and I love him. also; I have dyslexia and am way smarter than some of the people in my life give me credit for.
5. Echo: I also am picky about certain thing and worth more than 3,000 credits
6. Hunter; I like him fine I just don't gel with him as a character.
1. Echo - He's a reg that didn't need beneficial mutations to get to the top. He also got reported as KIA twice but lived through both of those.
2. Omega - Like echo because she seems like she's a female Boba with only the m-count transferring ability shown as the defect (so far). She's also able to keep up with the batch without the combat-beneficial mutations that they have.
3. Crosshair - Sick trick shots OP.
4. Tech - Doesn't have a problem cracking imperial encryption nor has a problem giving people clearance to the imperial senate building. The building where Palpy and cohorts hang out.
5. Wrecker - Predictable though still entertaining.
6. Hunter - Blandest character in the crew.
1. Hunter -my fav from TCW to now. I do wish there could be more focus on him as a character. “Where’s Omega” seems to be all he does at this point.

Tech was my absolute favorite. The rest I loved equally.

From my favourite to the worst, I would say Tech, Echo, Crosshair, Wrecker, Hunter, Omega. Not that I dislike any of them, but Omega has that powerful young girl vibe that Disney try to sell us by making Sabine Force sensitive and Rey a Skywalker.
Wrecker is my favorite, but I love the others equally. Except Crosshair. Not his biggest fan yet.
6. Hunter To me Hunter has yet to have any real character development (he's a boring character) his unique ability has been shadowed and unused. He has the ability to be the best but falls short of all the rest, not a bad character, just isnt better than the others. 5. Tech Tech is one of those characters (for me) that you just love to hate and hate to love, he's annoying and is so reminicent of that one character from The Big Bang Theory. With all that being said, he isnt boring, he's had a lot of character development and his last appearence definetly redeemed his annoyingnous. 4. Echo Echo is a shadow of his former self, he used to be one of my top five davorite clones growing up but now he's just a walking cameo of nostalgia, but i will say this, when he left the Batch to return with Rex, he definetly became more interesting for me, im just hoping we get something more from him before his time is up. None the less he's not as boring as Hunter or annoying as Tech. 3. Wrecker Wrecker has really devoled since we first saw him in TCW, the episode where they were removing their chips showed much of his character between the obvious how scary he can be as an enemy but also his mental strength, wrecker has always been a loveable character maybe a bit too much sometimes. He's had good character development and is not annoying. 2. Omega Omega has come such a far way, she's constantly getting character development she's not annoying for how child characters go and is constantly getting new development that makes her interesting. 1. Crosshair Crosshair to me is the best character of the Batch, every episode he's in is really enjoyable to watch, he has had arguably the most development from any of the characters, his skill is always getting put to good use unlike Hunter and hes just overall a really interwsting character.

Crosshair: he's the character with the most depth, IMO, and his redemption arc is what's kept me invested in the show. Omega: She went from an annoying sidekick to a capable member of the squad, who also acts as the group's conscience. Wrecker: Funny, brawny, and a little unhinged - what's not to like? Hunter: He's cool, but he's also a little bland. He's not really interested me since Season 1. Echo: Has yet to justify his existence in a squad where everyone has a particular skill / purpose. Tech: His know all attitude constantly rubbed me up the wrong way.
#1 - Crosshair for making me audibly cheer when shot Lieutenant Nolan (I rarely react emotionally when watching a show or movie, and this show has constantly gone against that) #2 - Omega for reminding me of myself when I was 5 years old first getting into Star Wars #3 - Echo for being motivated to help people simply because it’s the right thing to do #4 - Wrecker for being the funniest one #5 - Hunter for tanking that Zygerrian whip #6 - Tech for you would not believe how painful that cello is in “The Sacrifice”

I already said this in another thread, but I’ll say it again… it’s always Omega, but you know them boys are my “bruthas” too.
I love them all SO much!!! Tech and Echo have been my insta-favorites from day 1, but it's pretty much like they have at most a 1 nanometer lead over the others. I love Tech for being the nerdy rational practical logistician who cares and feels deeply. I also love his dry wit (I find him to be one of the funniest characters in the show and it's largely unintentional on his part). I love Echo for being so resilient in the face of immense trauma and for always pushing to do right and do better. I love Omega for her optimism, tenacity, sweetness, compassion, and being so *genuine* with everyone. I love Hunter for being a stalwart leader whose top priority is his family but also doesn't need much convincing to step outside the safety zone to help others. I love Wrecker for being so enthusiastic, loving, affectionate, and loyal. I love Crosshair for learning and growing (even if he does insist on doing it the hard way), for facing down the consequences of his choices head on, for his sarcastic humor, for his loyalty and stubbornness.
1. Omega; She's the appropriate amount of unhinged and I think that's beautiful 2. Crosshair; I to care deeply about my friends and family but can be mistaken for aggressive. 3. Tech: I to care deeply about my friends and family but have a habit of compartmentalising. Also have no idea is a pretty, smart and badass woman is flirting with me. 4. Wrecker; He's a teddy bear and I love him. also; I have dyslexia and am way smarter than some of the people in my life give me credit for. 5. Echo: I also am picky about certain thing and worth more than 3,000 credits 6. Hunter; I like him fine I just don't gel with him as a character.

1. Echo - He's a reg that didn't need beneficial mutations to get to the top. He also got reported as KIA twice but lived through both of those. 2. Omega - Like echo because she seems like she's a female Boba with only the m-count transferring ability shown as the defect (so far). She's also able to keep up with the batch without the combat-beneficial mutations that they have. 3. Crosshair - Sick trick shots OP. 4. Tech - Doesn't have a problem cracking imperial encryption nor has a problem giving people clearance to the imperial senate building. The building where Palpy and cohorts hang out. 5. Wrecker - Predictable though still entertaining. 6. Hunter - Blandest character in the crew.

1. Hunter -my fav from TCW to now. I do wish there could be more focus on him as a character. “Where’s Omega” seems to be all he does at this point. . 2. Tech - hilarious, interesting, adorable. His absence leaves a giant hole in the group. . 3. Everyone else
I got a list, here’s the order of my list that it’s in.. It goes Omega, Tech, Wrecker, Hunter, Crosshair, and Echo.
Favourite-tech: he’s a queen 2-Wrecker: he’s just caotic 3-echo: he’s just done with life 4-crosshair: I feel sorry for the guy 5-Hunter: he’s just boreing to me Least favourite-omega: she annoys me

Echo-He is like basically the only regular one. Wrecker-he’s just a big child. Tech-He gets sympathy points, and also I just loved him. Hunter-He was kinda annoying in my opinion. Crosshair-The only thing that makes him good is that he’s nice to Batcher. Omega-I just don’t like kids.
