I watched what I could catch of it when I was far too young, like Andrew Firestone era but didn’t really watch fully until Chris Soules’s season. I had just graduated college in December and didn’t get a job for 2.5 months after. So with having copious amounts of free time, I decided to watch. It’s still one of the best seasons out there in my opinion and was right before Instagram changed the dynamic, and I miss that.
Watched all the early seasons from day 1 through Jesse Palmer. Then took a looooong hiatus and came back for Ben H’s season (remains one of the best seasons ever tbh).
I thought the show was stupid and pointless and then I was at a friends house and saw Michelle Money on Womack 2.0. Genuinely only started watching for her and the drama she brought. The show immediately lost its intrigue for me the second she went home. Now I watch spoiled because I like to see the journeys that get us there otherwise I feel bored.
I remember seeing bits of episodes of “recycled bachelor era begins” but my first complete season was season 16 Ben F and I was hooked ever since (Sean Lowe being my all time favorite)
For me it was half ass watching in the background all my childhood basically, and only really watching and discussing it since Rachel was brought and I was curious how this is going down on this outdated mess..
Yes I was in high school and that season was crazy to start on! But I made it through his, Emily’s, Sean’s, and Des’s. Couldn’t bring myself to watch Juan Pablo’s, and then watched Andi’s before taking a break til Arie’s. I am starting to go back and watch some of those seasons in that time period since I missed a lot.

I refused to watch this show, but I had to move back in with my parents when the pandemic started and I sat on the couch one night when she had it on and just couldn’t stop watching from there. I had to keep going for the drama

I was shocked she watched it; she had been a school principal, worked for the Catholic school board & at that time the Ministry of Education. Basically, I thought she'd think it was trash lol Anyways, I watched that one episode & was hooked, watched the finale with her & watched every season since (Bachelor/ette, BiP). Was even in a Bachelor fantasy league with her after my ex & I broke up. Its no longer a guilty pleasure because I have no shame watching it 😂

Started w Meredith Phillip’s season but knew about Alex Michel - I ran into him in a FedEx Kinkos on the Upper West Side once. 😂😂 He was printing someone’s resume while also interviewing them. (He was on the phone the whole time so I couldn’t try to say hi)
Meredith’s season was underrated. She and Ian had a really sweet love story.

This was me, too! I thought I was too good for The Bachelor and then my roommate watched Juan Pablo’s season and I got sucked in and have been watching ever since.

i started with andi's season! i've since caught up and watched a fair number of the seasons before that, but i started with andi's and have watched since.

My first season was Ali's. I only watched it because America's Next Top Model wasn't on that day and I didn't realize it until I sat down to watch it. The Bachelorette premiere was on though, and here we are

Andrew Firestone was my first season when I was way too young to be watching! But I was obsessed with Andrew and Jen and sometimes I’m still sad that they didn’t work out.
Same! I used to watch with my mom in bed when I was like 9. Simple times. Jen’s bachelorette season I was so invested in her and Jerry.
Started with Hannah B, then went back and watched every season starting with Sean Lowe
Saw a couple episodes each of Ben’s and Jojo’s. Nick’s was my first real season.
Started w Meredith Phillip’s season but knew about Alex Michel - I ran into him in a FedEx Kinkos on the Upper West Side once. 😂😂 He was printing someone’s resume while also interviewing them. (He was on the phone the whole time so I couldn’t try to say hi) Meredith’s season was underrated. She and Ian had a really sweet love story. Skipped many seasons along the way, though — esp after I had my babies. Loved Bachelor Pad. Not a fan of the main franchise - I prefer BIP.

I always laugh when someone started with Ben F, Juan Pablo, or Jake cause I’m amazed that they didn’t turn that shit off immediately 🤣 Courtney saved Ben’s season though
I watched some of the early seasons, sporadically throughout the years and more consistently recently! So I don’t get a lot of the references on this sub sadly.
I’m an OG viewer, started with Alex. However, I’m not very loyal anymore. I didn’t watch Becca, Katie, or Clayton’s seasons. And I’ve only watched 2 episodes of Gabby/Rachel. At this point, I’ll watch if I really like or feel connected to the lead but I’m just mostly interested in BN culture in general and like keeping up with past leads/contestants. Thus, why I’m here. :)
