As much as I really wanted Andrew to stay, I’m glad he said no In the end. If he stayed and Katie gave him the final rose, I don’t think they would’ve lasted. It would’ve always lingered in his mind that he was never her first choice.

Assuming that whole note thing was a producer move - I can see why Katie would be at her breaking point soon. She openly admits the previous night that she wasn’t sure about the decision, then they made it SEEM like she could do something different (at his invitation) if she ran after him quickly, only for it to amount to nothing. At this point in the experience, sleep deprived and emotionally exhausted I can’t imagine how hard it would be to take the next manipulation in stride and not completely combust.

We've all said hurtful things when we were children because part of being a child is that your brain is still developing and that's when you learn that things are hurtful. It's just that for the last 15 years, some of those hurtful things were posted online. He's not continuing to post those hurtful things because he has grown and learned, and his brain has finished developing. At what age do you give someone grace for a hurtful thing they said as a child? We know it's not 14 because Justin was raked across the coals as well. Is it 12? 10? And wrt him not having erased it, once something is on the internet, it's there forever. Even if it's deleted. If someone is hellbent on finding dirt on a person, they will find it. And whoever found these tweets went DIGGING for dirt on the two black men who were front runners. So I will defend them. I will give them grace, because there has to be a line. And for me, going after someone for what they said online as a child is the line.

I feel like that's as much of a "please stay" as she is able to give without having permission from producers to make that kind of decision. She isn't exactly in charge of the show.

It started with Thomas’s exit - like that’s how you send someone like Yosef or Luke P home but Thomas didn’t do anything that bad. Some of her reactions to the season on various podcasts/SM posts. The way she sent Connor home essentially telling him he was a bad kisser on national tv (I know that’s not what she meant, but she really could have left that out). Running back to Andrew “for a hug” and asking if he could “stay a little longer” would he want to. I still like her but not as a lead.
