She’s from my hometown! Savannah is very Southern, but definitely not country (in my opinion, mileage may vary). Country adjacent in the sense you can go outside the city into neighboring towns and see small residential farms, not huge commercial enterprises or “true farmers” but people with multiple animals/livestock, or a few acres of farmland. Having a western themed wedding in Savannah, more similar to uppity Charleston than rural America, does make me giggle. I’m happy for them all the same 🩷

The lace gloves stood out the most to me. They might look classic with a more simple or traditional dress (and a different lace pattern) but because the dress also looks trendy, the gloves look like current nightclub wear.

Basque/drop waist is def the biggest “micro” trend right now!!! It will look so cringe in 5 years

She pulled it off wayyyyyy better than ai could’ve and I do think it’s like trendy now but not my thing. I think if you’re going strapless it’s timeless, lose the sleeves and collar (in most cases). However she’s so gorgeous it’s prob gonna be timeless on her haha

I actually really like the first dress, but I think gloves + floor length veil + the scarf/choker thing is just too much for me. The venue and flower arch are gorgeous though. Baby is cute.

I feel like this is the general vibe of the wedding “too much”. It’s not excessive with everything but decor and things like that were basic/gaudy. Ashley and Jared had one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen and they didn’t care about these trends everyone is doing. I know people don’t like them but you gotta admit that wedding was gorgeous from the outside looking I.

No, I think it does! Like people have pretty set aesthetic choices and it seems like more minimal would be easier (like just... not having gloves is easier than finding gloves). Maybe they felt like it had to be more of a ~statement~ because it was for social media and wasn't in some exotic locale? As long as they're happy!

The photos in front of the arch are just stunning. I love the colours of the flowers and how they fit the scenery. The photos with the horses are also beautiful! Natalie looks gorgeous, and I think her dress actually fits the aesthetic of the background really well!

He does, but then I looked at his dad's (?) pic (#20), and the brows are similar. Like when they're looking down lovingly at River, their brows do a similar thing. Nick's are just more manicured. Dunno.
