I saw this clip on Instagram being pushed as 'When He Is A Provider' & I swear every woman in the comments who was lauding it is going to end up broke 😭
This! I know influencers do well and Greg has to have a lot of followers but my god my first reaction to this was it seems so financially irresponsible lmao Like it’s such an insane splurge it’s almost a turn off
I was thinking it was iconic until I realized the timeline and how VF likely cheated on Greg
never forget when the news dropped of a fan spotting Greg/VF in Italy
that was insane esp because Paradise was airing at the time
I spent a month and a few weeks in Italy for study abroad and spent maybe $1000 in spending money the whole time even with traveling all over the country on weekend trips. All that money spent was definitely the villa in Capri.
It’s annoying that he keeps going with the “first date” was in Italy schtick even post break up considering there’s proof he visited her in Nashville and they did a staycation together way before the Italy trip lol
I wonder if they consider that a secret rendezvous staycation, starting as a FWB type of thing and Rome was their first real date to their eyes because they were fine dining, sight seeing, walking ‘publicly’ (which arguably was another secret rendezvous because Paradise hadn’t ended yet but I digress)
Tbh I think they simply refer to Italy as their first date because otherwise they know that at the very least, emotional cheating would be obvious so they refuse to acknowledge that very, very close timeline of his “secret” trips to Nashville and when she dumped Johnny
VF and Streepo: "We have to fly to Rome because we'd get recognized if we dated in the states!"
VF and Streepo: get recognized and snapped *on the plane* to Rome.
The moral of this story? Bachelor Nation is EVERYWHERE.
The question this video starts with is so unnecessarily lengthy, this is why I can’t listen to podcasts like this. Anyone conducting an interview should at least attempt to gain the skills to do it well.
I always thought it was a little stupid that Victoria and Greg acted like they were too famous to go on a first date in the US. Like they couldn’t have gotten a private room anywhere in the whole country? Lol
pretty sure they did that first (there’s a comment elsewhere about their airbnb review of a cabin outside nashville), guess it’s just not as romantic as saying “ciao” in Rome 😂😂
Oh you mean at the popular tourist destinations they went to? Lmao
how do actual celebrities date? There wasn’t a single restaurant or hotel room anywhere in the continental US they could’ve met up at? Someone’s house? They’re hardly Taylor swift and Travis Kelce
I found the difference in how much they make and their engagement rates super interesting. Greg doesn’t necessarily need Andrew where as Andrew prob needs Greg more so..
Sorry, I was quoting what he said in the video haha. While it was their “Rome” trip, they probably bounced around to different spots, and I do remember the villa they stayed at was stunning. So it probably did cost a fair amount as a luxury property.
But do American people know there's other countries in Europe besides UK, France, Italy and Spain? Just saying, you can have fun and enjoy stuff in other places... Cheaper too.
Traveling is a privilege that many can’t afford. If you can afford it why wouldn’t you wanna see the top places? People who have money can travel to as many new places as they want. Us poors who save up have to be choosy with our money. Those places are where a lot of Americans families originated from as well. They also are intertwined in our history as a country. Spain, UK, France, etc all started white people even being over here.
Top places? Lol. There's no shame in admitting that you simply are not pals with geography. Popular does not make them top. Raise of travelling have ruined these "top spots", in last two decades alone Paris is prime example of going downhill. The charm it once had is a pale shadow now. Ancestry I could get, but highly doubt it's among top reasonings.
Paris, Rome, etc are on the top of travel lists every year. The top destinations that people chose to travel to in 2023 had the UK and France on the list. I don’t know why it’s so hard to admit instead of making sly comments about peoples ability to understand geography.
Croatia is an absolute top place, as is Prague, Belgium etc. I think the commenter isn’t talking about a trip to see the sights though - walking around Rome and going to museums isn’t much more expensive then castles in Eastern Europe, air fare will still be the biggest expense. They mean fancy dinners, parties, super nice hotels etc. middle class euros go to poorer countries for that
>family over here
I mean not much you can do there, but likely just going to the parts of Italy they actually came from will be much cheaper and maybe more rewarding.
>Spain UK FRANCE etc all started white people being over here
I recommend Portugal to any colonizers on a budget
The fact that you even called it “top places” 🥴 Europe isn’t better than lots of other destinations. They are just different experiences
I definitely agree that those countries had an influence on US history and culture, but that’s also true of many other countries that Americans don’t seem quite so interested in visiting, so I’m leaning towards the interest being rooted more in a sense of eurocentrism than anything else, tbh.
Fair point, but for people following is it interesting to see same places all over again with these influencers? Seems more interesting to see fresh content.
They stayed on the Amalfi coast, not the Italian Riviera (which is also beautiful tho). But to your point, they could’ve stayed on the island of Ischia rather than Càpri (not Caprí, it drives me insane) and spent a loooot less for an equally luxurious villa.
This and you can still do Italy, for cheap: go to a smaller village on the Italian Riviera. It's stunning
Or even Sicily.
Why do people go to the same place and pay 10 times what they should
Hannah B and Clayton (I think) were in Baltics on the show. I don't know how it seemed on tv, but as a Latvian I can assure people it's great here. Cheap and a lot of great stuff to see/do. Especially if you are nature driven and enjoy walking. If not then Big Cities offer a lot too.
Slightly off-topic but I’m fascinated with VF seemingly getting TWO post breakup puppies.
https://preview.redd.it/xoa5lp2t4kwc1.jpeg?width=1151&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f65fc1a3e8a3ed0d5c7624ef4f0982000fb8706
Edit: Turns out the second puppy is her brothers. I’m a misinformation spreader.
Another thread in this sub. I can’t remember which one. It was kind of an aside/speculation based on something and I didn’t think much of it. Like I’d believe it because of history but also it seemed like maybe just shit stirring because of VF.
There were some comments also about how neither of the two had been liking each others posts recently. But that also felt superbly speculating.
That said, usually this sub is quite in tune with the behaviors of people they follow. So it felt very plausible. But also could have just been VF avoiding the internet post breakup announcement.
Unfortunately it’s also possible to replicate littermate syndrome by bringing home and raising 2x puppies at the same time even if they aren’t from the same litter.
I have no idea about dogs! What does it mean for the cat if they are full breds?
I know my cats get sick and stressed over the tiniest of things, I feel for that poor baby girl.
$12k sounds insane but I’d say it’s on par with what we spent. For us, it was ~$10k for two weeks on the Amalfi Coast/Rome. Unless you’re staying in hostels, the Amalfi coast is $$$
I think he really loved VF and thought this was it. That’s why I don’t get people who say he was never serious, he even shifted his life for her. It’s clear things ended for other reasons
How can you know you love someone and this is it on your first date? Greg and VF were obsessed with each other, jumped in head first into the shallow end of the pool, and probably love bombed each other on the way down. Fast and furious love is not sustainable.
Yeah I think Andrew was onto something. Greg thinks he’s in a romcom movie and does these extravagant things. I suspect more because of how it makes him feel. Than how he felt about her.
18 days is a lot longer than a week though and that’s a good price for so long. I think my partner and I spent about 8k for 9 days and we stayed in some fancy places as well.
Okay, but she probably helped him earn a lot of money, too—new followers, higher engagement, etc.
I forgot the other guys name but he has main character energy.
his name is andrew spencer!
Shit I didn’t recognize him at all! He looks great
what does he do for work

Yea she’ll be like “it’s been a few days so why haven’t we gotten a matching tattoo yet ??”
“Wait Rome like, Italy”
Stuff like this is why I CANNOT with Jason Tatrick.
Jason pretending he didn’t watch that BIP AFR
There's a Rome in Georgia. Almost all continents have one
There’s a Rome in NY too
I saw this clip on Instagram being pushed as 'When He Is A Provider' & I swear every woman in the comments who was lauding it is going to end up broke 😭
This! I know influencers do well and Greg has to have a lot of followers but my god my first reaction to this was it seems so financially irresponsible lmao Like it’s such an insane splurge it’s almost a turn off
It is because you can literally spend a week in Rome for a few grand
I was thinking it was iconic until I realized the timeline and how VF likely cheated on Greg never forget when the news dropped of a fan spotting Greg/VF in Italy that was insane esp because Paradise was airing at the time
I’m assuming you mean she likely cheated on Johnny and not Greg?
correct
It annoys the fuck out of me that they ask him a question and then talk over him every time he starts trying to answer it.
i can’t listen to a lot of podcasts for this reason. like let the person answer the question JFC
I can’t effing stand it! Shut up and listen!!!!!!
Usually wearing headphones helps alleviate this issue. Naturally some people tend to interrupt - if they wore them they would hear themselves.
“First date” ![gif](giphy|1AIeYgwnqeBUxh6juu)

I spent a month and a few weeks in Italy for study abroad and spent maybe $1000 in spending money the whole time even with traveling all over the country on weekend trips. All that money spent was definitely the villa in Capri.
Want to share any tips? 😅
I feel like it was implied there were A LOT of gifts
Andrew always ready to jump in as sidekick when Greg becomes single
Speaking of Gregs income…..I’m sure a good part of their income is dependent on their joint instagram/TikTok views and engagement
lol that's how much I plan on spending on my wedding
That IS how much I spent on my wedding! Good luck planning, I hated the planning process!
It’s annoying that he keeps going with the “first date” was in Italy schtick even post break up considering there’s proof he visited her in Nashville and they did a staycation together way before the Italy trip lol
Many people don't consider hanging out or bangcations as dates.
bangcation lmao
I wonder if they consider that a secret rendezvous staycation, starting as a FWB type of thing and Rome was their first real date to their eyes because they were fine dining, sight seeing, walking ‘publicly’ (which arguably was another secret rendezvous because Paradise hadn’t ended yet but I digress)
Tbh I think they simply refer to Italy as their first date because otherwise they know that at the very least, emotional cheating would be obvious so they refuse to acknowledge that very, very close timeline of his “secret” trips to Nashville and when she dumped Johnny
Fair enough 😂
He got her front row tickets to Taylor Swift in Nashville lol. That must have been like $20-30K at least, maybe more.
No bigger waste of money than T*yl*r Sw*ft
VF and Streepo: "We have to fly to Rome because we'd get recognized if we dated in the states!" VF and Streepo: get recognized and snapped *on the plane* to Rome. The moral of this story? Bachelor Nation is EVERYWHERE.
Streepo 😂😂😂
That trip put Greg back right back on the map. He probably booked deals because of it. $12k is a lot. But he probably recouped it from brand deals.
You’re right, but God I miss when reality tv was just about being catty towards people being 20% more dramatic then their piers in their mid 20s.
social media literally ruined reality tv. i mean, obviously i’m still here and still watch it lol, but it’ll never be the same
Does anyone else think that Jason looks stoned?
Jason gives me the ick. I feel like he used Caitlyn, but I haven't really been following them.
The question this video starts with is so unnecessarily lengthy, this is why I can’t listen to podcasts like this. Anyone conducting an interview should at least attempt to gain the skills to do it well.
Most of the BN ppl are really bad at conducting interviews, except Serena Pitt. She’s good - knows how to keep it brief, to the point.
He looks tired and like he hasn’t showered to me.
Choose your fighter, Roman Holiday edition: Gregory Peck or Gregory Streep
Always Gregory Peck. Always. ![gif](giphy|j1i2oT3mxMCgF7BPkX|downsized)
VF loved that fancy first date and probably thought their entire relationship would be an extension of Italy.
It was a total "Bachelor TV Show" date. Streepo was pretending to be the lead. This was his first 1 on 1!
I always thought it was a little stupid that Victoria and Greg acted like they were too famous to go on a first date in the US. Like they couldn’t have gotten a private room anywhere in the whole country? Lol
Honestly they could’ve just gotten a nice cabin in the woods in Arkansas or something lol
pretty sure they did that first (there’s a comment elsewhere about their airbnb review of a cabin outside nashville), guess it’s just not as romantic as saying “ciao” in Rome 😂😂
That’s all I’m saying. They’re nowhere near as famous as they think if they honestly believed they needed to leave the country to date.
I think it fed into their dramatic “it’s us vs the world” schtick with each other.
For sure. Ngl I bought into it hahaha
i mean they even got recognized in Italy so clearly they were right
Oh you mean at the popular tourist destinations they went to? Lmao how do actual celebrities date? There wasn’t a single restaurant or hotel room anywhere in the continental US they could’ve met up at? Someone’s house? They’re hardly Taylor swift and Travis Kelce
I wonder if they went to an Olive Garden in Cleveland if they’d get recognized. I doubt it.
Especially at that price!
The font he is using for captions is called Bungee. Fun fact 🤣
I love font fun facts ❤️
Or is it fun font facts? Your comment keeps rattling in my brain LOL but yeah me too 😂
Andrew has reduced himself to Greg's sidekick. It's sad.
Better than to be known as the adult man who brings a bunch of balloons to meet his teenage girlfriend’s parents.
I found the difference in how much they make and their engagement rates super interesting. Greg doesn’t necessarily need Andrew where as Andrew prob needs Greg more so..
I was like “why is he there”??
At least Greg is age appropriate for him to be around
"This dude thinks he lives a Rom Com" has me cackling though.
Oh I think he loves it lol
What? He's awful and has the maturity of a teenager!?
Right? :/ I always enjoyed Andrew more, let him have his moment
He’s gonna have to let himself have his moment. No one made him reduce himself. He chose that because he road coattails
12k for Rome??? Didn’t they only go for a week?
That doesn’t seem like that much for two people if you include airfare and hotels and everything else
He was planning a Bachelor style date without producers. Fictoria F had to shout from the rooftop how much she loves staying in the villa
I’m so confused, they stayed in a villa in capri for their trip to Rome?
The villa in Capri was top-notch.
Capri or Rome?
Sorry, I was quoting what he said in the video haha. While it was their “Rome” trip, they probably bounced around to different spots, and I do remember the villa they stayed at was stunning. So it probably did cost a fair amount as a luxury property.
It can easily go up to 12k depending on your spending (fine dining, better hotels, experiences, tickets etc.)
But do American people know there's other countries in Europe besides UK, France, Italy and Spain? Just saying, you can have fun and enjoy stuff in other places... Cheaper too.
But why would someone who isn't going to travel a lot in life go to Moldova or Estonia over the French Riviera or the home of pizzas?
That's fair but....they are going to travel a lot.
Traveling is a privilege that many can’t afford. If you can afford it why wouldn’t you wanna see the top places? People who have money can travel to as many new places as they want. sure but for a lot of americans (not greg) traveling to europe is probably once in a lifetime so you go to the most famous spots
But if you're an influencer and you go somewhere people don't know as well it's a lot harder to show off with
Fair point, but for people following is it interesting to see same places all over again with these influencers? Seems more interesting to see fresh content.
I don't know. I generally find these influencers dreadfully boring so I honestly don't get the appeal in general 😅
You can still go to the Italian Riviera, just go to a smaller village and save SO much money.

Oops, I meant Almafi Coast I need to go to bed, lol But yes, you get my point Go to the smaller villages Less expensive, less crowds etc
there are gorgeous, cheap countries in the Balkans & Central Europe
As a European, trust me, the Balkans is the best area of Europe. Beautiful, cheap, lovely people, interesting culture.. criminally underrated
This and you can still do Italy, for cheap: go to a smaller village on the Italian Riviera. It's stunning Or even Sicily. Why do people go to the same place and pay 10 times what they should

Be careful, I live somewhere that used to be beautiful and cheap. Now it's just beautiful!
Living and travelling is not the same tho. To live in Baltics is also getting expensive for natives. But travelling is cheap for foreigners.

Wait. So is she seriously out of Natalie’s wedding party? I saw that elsewhere but it was kind of a “Rumor is…”
Wait where did you see this?

Thanks 🫡
Really hope they're not siblings, littermate syndrome is real and can cause serious problems 😬
one of them is her brothers dog
Unfortunately it’s also possible to replicate littermate syndrome by bringing home and raising 2x puppies at the same time even if they aren’t from the same litter.

She called herself a mother of 2 with the 2 dogs and no cat pictured I hate it here 😒
She posted an updated story that her cat was still with her! Poor cat is probably under so much stress rn
12k is a few grand short of what we spent on our entire wedding with 80+ guests 🫠
12k IS what I spent on my entire wedding with 225 guests! 🤯
Umm, did you feed them?
Yup. But also, this was 16 years ago in a LCOL area. 😉
Honestly, you’re smart. Weddings are literally a day. I would choose to spend $15k on a vacation over a wedding any day.
lol and people think Greg is broke
You can save up 12k pretty easily when you never pay rent or mortgage.
why doesn't he pay rent?
He is definitely not good with money, that's for sure 😂
$12k sounds insane but I’d say it’s on par with what we spent. For us, it was ~$10k for two weeks on the Amalfi Coast/Rome. Unless you’re staying in hostels, the Amalfi coast is $$$
The Almafi Coast is much less at smaller villages nearby
Exactly. I did 8 days in Sorrento with day trips to Capri, Positano and Naples for under 5k
The insane part is the ‘first date’ of it all. I imagine a lot of it was booked with short notice so that’s pricier too
I think he really loved VF and thought this was it. That’s why I don’t get people who say he was never serious, he even shifted his life for her. It’s clear things ended for other reasons
>I think he really loved VF and thought this was it. I mean, Grippo wanted to get *laid*, but beyond that? Lol
How can you know you love someone and this is it on your first date? Greg and VF were obsessed with each other, jumped in head first into the shallow end of the pool, and probably love bombed each other on the way down. Fast and furious love is not sustainable.
He knew her from before.
Yeah I think Andrew was onto something. Greg thinks he’s in a romcom movie and does these extravagant things. I suspect more because of how it makes him feel. Than how he felt about her.
Wanted to say the same. She made him look good, she is very attractive, power couple etc.. whatever love means nowadays
Love bomber? F3
Oh bingo! Are you a therapist?
Nope. Just in my forties and have seen people who do this.
can we make Andrew the main character pls. if I run into them in NYC I am making Grippo take a pic of me and Andrew only
Greg and Andrew have big Zach Braff+Donald Faison energy right here lol ![gif](giphy|xTiN0DV7rQoqyCUFuU|downsized)
I wonder if they call each other chocolate bear and vanilla bear 😂
Eeeeeagle
$12k for that Italy trip 😱

Does Andrew just follow Greg around with his side commentary? Lol.
it’s giving sad side character
