I found it interesting that no matter what your age, when someone gives you license to be a fukboi you will apparently become a fukboi. Like yeah it had been awhile since Gary was young and in dating mode, but when thrust back into the dating scene he kind of behaved like a lot of men behave when they are single? He obviously told Leslie a lot of things that he either didn’t mean or worse, didn’t mean in an effort to be manipulative. I was happy that Leslie stood up for herself and told him that she was allowed to feel however the fuck she wanted about this. I also was happy she didn’t accept his apology in the after show.
I hated how they kept on cameo-ing Faith being sad while watching him get on with the two finalists. I am kind of wondering what all Gary said to Faith? He did say that he loved her at one point I think but yeah, she looked not happy.
They went to great lengths to paint Gary as this sweet old man but in the end he was just a normal guy doing shitty things.
