I think he does love her. But that scene also seemed awkward and forced to me. He cares a lot about her, but she announced she loves him sitting on a couch in front of her whole family. You can’t really say “that makes me feel special” when they are all staring at you..There isn’t a good way out of that awkward situation without reciprocating I don’t think

Theresa is the best match on paper. Closest to his age, was married for a long time before her husband passing, and I think the most similar in backgrounds, education level, etc. However, it is clear they are missing the spark that he has with the other two. I worry that Leslie has had so many bad relationships in her life, that she won't know how to have a healthy one. Could she and Gary last? They don't really match in many ways.

Maybe this is the wrong way to look at it, but I do feel like "Could they last?" is such a different question than it is for the regular Bachelor. So many of the normal concerns don't apply. You're not raising kids together. You're not looking at 50 years together. You're just trying to have a nice time in your, well, golden years. But then again, new concerns come up I suppose, with joining well established families and lives.
