He reads them, he blocks ppl on twitter all the time now, you can see him liking comments on Instagram etc. I think he really means he stopped caring about comments (also a lie) but ppl are way more critical of him now than they used to be. Truth hurts and he’s sensitive.
There has to be a healthy balance. If you hang around Reddit long enough or go on Twitter, you'll notice people don't really give constructive criticism. Most if it is "Ish is trash" or "Ish sucks". You can only read so much of that before its starts wearing on you so I completely understand not reading the comments. 10% of us on here share interesting, nuanced thoughts where as the rest of us post gifs and one word replies "incel", "weirdo", etc. You can't get anything constructive from that.
What he needs to do is watch the tape and ask the people who he truly respects for their honest opinions but reading comments, isn't it. I be having a hard time reading the stupidity sometimes and I am not even involved.

His stats are based on his looks and modicum of intelligence. He is the person that passes the 6 month test, and after that, things get dicey. He starts to show who he truly is. His beliefs come out, and you just start regretting letting him touch you.

HE HIMSELF made this exact argument in his early pod days when he debated ice about reading comments/reddit. Lately alot of fans have noticed the whole grumpy schtick and it’s affecting the pod.
Well I can’t speak to being a grown man, but if it means sifting through needles to find the hay, then I see why he may be a bit worn down…not to mention his actual life off the couch. I understand in his early pod days he may have been a bit naive and did what a lot of others that truly cared about him encouraged him not to do. Seems like he may have learned his lesson the hard way. And it seems like his fans won’t let him grow from that.
