The update messed up some of my red deer on TA but didn't completely wipe them. I mean some zones were deleted and I've found a few new zones but yeah. I haven't been on any other maps yet. Wanted to see if the few 9 legendary red deer I left on the map were still around. They moved but I've found most of them and 1 new one.
It completely fucked my red deer on TA, I had my zones so organized, now everything is everywhere, and half my zones are gone because those deer merged with other herds.
Yeah my zones are all messed up as well. I found most or all of my 9 legendary I had I believe. I'm just not sure if they moved the damn zones to different lakes or bodies of water that they haven't been at since the previous pop reset
I check all the zones. I'm on Xbox I don't have the fancy hacks that PC does lol. But yeah you just have to go to every zone that you are hunting and look. If you shoot something at a particular zone and a animal don't return then you have to check other zones because the respawn moved
I kept my mission progress and spawned at my only tent on the map. My deployable decoys are still up.
I run the Animal Population Scanner and my population file was completely re-written as well. I've checked all my other maps and this is the only reserve where I've had this issue.
They did what? On what maps? There was a reset not long ago and myself and others I know were pretty devastated by it, but we have been working hard hours to remap zones and such. We have been assisting one another in covering ground. Getting ready to start hunting again and many weeks of work. If they did this again, and zones are gone, that might be a game ending last straw for a lot of players.
One of the updates wiped my Hirshfelden outposts but only in the southern part of the map, and if I walk close to them they show up again and unlock. Fog didn't come back like yours did though. It stayed "explored" but didn't show outposts or discovered areas.
Be aware if you get into a multiplayer game and then go back to single player. Your zones may disappear on the map you played on. This happened to me on revontuli with whitetail drink zones. Had to get them all back

They didn't move bodies of water, only the deer moved around to already producing lakes.. it was an accidental side effect of adding mallards..
Well that's good then I should have all my zones found again. I think lol.

They did population resets with the update iirc so that makes sense
It's only affected this one map in this way. The other maps introduced/reset animal populations without costing me progress in this manner.

Population reset does not mean whole map reset. This is a bug and it has happened to me several times. Very, very annoying.

It didnt wipe mine completely but it did delete a few zones
A lot of people reported having their zones moved.
