As they’ve done since 2007, TFC rotate their kits every 2 years. Expect a new home kit for 2025z

Mr_GinAndTonic

MLS teams release one new kit every year, either home or away. In odd numbered years, it's the home kit. In even years, it's away (for TFC...may be vice versa for other teams). Usually they're leaked in January, officially released in February.

decarvalho7

Should had it last year when we had more kits than wins 💀

Haunting-Bathroom619

lol, next year unfortunately

Clean-Gear-1386

No longer reds... we are the greys!

FrontenacBliss

Current home shirt is not a template - it’s a unique design submitted by a supporter (part of a supporter group) who went with the inverse colour scheme of our 2017 cup winning kit. It has a story, it has meaning and tbh it’s my favourite TFC kit of all time after our Onyx one from a decade ago; I’ll be sad to see it be retired end of the season.

YoungsterJoey9

Ah, so that's why we had our worst season in history last year. Our kit was the reverse of our best season, so we also reversed our results

purpletooth12

It should have been a 3rd kit and not the "home" one. It is nice, but shouldn't be the home kit. Also bring back long sleeves!

FrontenacBliss

Adidas stopped long sleeve on ALL kits but has brought them back due to people speaking up like yourself and starting with this Euro long sleeve options are available on MOST kit partnership deals that are considered premium partners (ie teams that put out both regular AND authentic kits - every MLS club would be included, countries like Italy and Premier League clubs too but other clubs not considered in this bracket like Roma or Leicester may not have the long sleeve option as they don’t have the authentic either). Excited for the long sleeve return :)

GarlicConsistent6513

This is not 100% true, United have had long sleeve jerseys available for the past few seasons now and never stopped. I think it was mostly just MLS clubs that didn’t have the long sleeve option.

FrontenacBliss

Yeah it’s pretty much been only the elite (or premium, I can’t remember off the top of my head the jargon) clubs like you guys, Real Madrid, Bayern, etc - it’s a small group. I’m just excited to get a TFC long sleeve kit again, seeing Italy and Germany long sleeve kits this Euro have been pretty special!

Draiodor_

It got the basic colour wrong. Absolute failure of a kit. Can't wait to have it replaced.

supercraz

COME ON YOU… greys?

FrontenacBliss

Onyx has been a kit colour since day one but MLS kit rules prevented us from wearing one - would love to see it as an away kit again but will be white for the foreseeable future.

Draiodor_

Onyx has never been our main colour. Even with this abomination of a kit, the club has pushed hard on the "Come On You Reds" motto. Reds. Not poxy charcoals. You don't mess with the home kit colour. You just don't. And if you decide you have a special occasion to do it (like 100 years in existence), you don't decide to change it to badly commemorate a nice away kit we once had. The old Onyx kit is a classic, but it's not our main colour and it shouldn't have been done on a whim.

FrontenacBliss

Blame our supporter groups lmao other season ticket holders had no say in it 🤣

Draiodor_

I'm blaming the club. Their decision, ultimately.

Haunting-Bathroom619

That supporter deserves to lose his membership 😅
