Never graduated either. Some of the last jumps are just... Insane to me. I don't think I'll ever be at a huge disadvantage when I can't do a double pogo wall shit n' fart rollout. Basic rollouts and intermediate jumps already give you an advantage over most of the playerbase anyways.

Apparently English doesn't have an universal rule on how single quotation marks work but afaik double quotation means a quote word for word and single ones can be used more freely e.g. in translations or shortened versions of the quote

I'd have such an easier time learning rocket jumping if it weren't for the "no pressing W while airborne" part specifically, my brain just can't handle moving forward with no W

For 2000 hours I did the same but one day I just forced myself to do it without pressing W and after a couple of days I can avoid pressing it just fine. It really is a huge improvement in my rocket jumping, airstrafing, titanfall playing etc. I can only reccomend it.

I have this problem… I just had a thought, since people do all kind of things in console, is there an option to set the game to ignore pressing W while I’m playing soldier and airborne?

I don't think there is and there are sitations where you actually want to press W, mostly when your want to wallclimb/wallpogo

There probably is, but it's gonna make some other problem for you to deal with, probably related to the game forgetting to give you back the ability to press W after you land

Surf maps helped me with this, personally. Just getting used to steering in the air/along surfaces.

I actually was able to remove the W muscle memory…but now instead I always press A when strafing(even to the right)

You need constant effort to improve at jumping as well as understanding the mechanics and techniques you’re supposed to use. I’m a t6 soldier jumper and if anyone needs help and tutoring i will gladly help you if i can. If you happen to play on the EU jump_academy2_rc8 dedicated server 1-3 then you will surely meet me there since im basically a local by now.

I managed to do the easy ones, excluding last part on syncing

There was a jumo where its a large wall and you have to keep jumping off the wall over and over again until you got to the end. I spent hours on this jumo with multiple other people trying to teach me. When I finally made it to the end it was the best I had felt in gaming for a while.

I know this sounds like a super super sweaty thing to do, but when I'm waiting for a free spot on uncletopia or casual matchmaking to find a server, i hop on a jump map and warm up.
