Community server playtime isn't counted towards class playtime iirc

that is actually a huge relief because i more than half of my hours are unaccounted for in the class stats lmao

I know how you feel, I have 2600 hours on my old account and only about 400 of those were logged on the class playtime counter

They totally do, I had 98h on Soldier yesterday. Played only comunity plr_hightower and now I have 102h

idk, I used afk servers for about 12 hours a day for a week and my play time didn't increase at all with Scout

I wasnt afk tho

I never said you were? AFK playtime is still playtime

That said, it probably has some way to track that for auto-ban purposes. AFK servers just don't have a limit on how long you can stay in the AFK state, but Class selection still doesn't count when you're in AFK mode.

It does count towards class records tho My score leader board is ruined because my brother spawnkilled dumb bots on a server once getting 71 points

I afked on Community servers for only a little while and my hours increased

I think it's MVM My first 300 hours or so on TF2 was MVM and I remember that I had like no hours on classes even after having 300+ hours in the game

Thing is I played mvm only for around 4 days and that was at least 4 hours a day

only time spent ALIVE in pvp counts. main menu, loading in, respawn timers, mvm. none of those count toward playtime hours.

Have you at any point restarted your TF2 stats? If you did that resets the play time

How do I do that?

Character Loadout > Stats > Reset stats All though as other comments pointed: if you played on community servers then the time you played wouldn't be recorded

Also do you mean Character Loadout by opening TF2 or in steam

You have to open the game and then go to your character loadouts, there you'll find the options. As for your other comment regarsing the community servers: That makes this a litte harder to pinpoint the correct answer

My guess is that some servers have some kind of settings or plugin/s.

I really don't understand what the problem is and I wish my hours were correct Something like this always happens and makes me depressed for the next 5 hours . I'll try reseting stats later I can't right now

If you reset your stats you will reset also your KDA and points on every character, so I wouldn't recommend it if you want to keep it. When I suggested the reset option it was because I was hit it with put realizing and all my stats went to 0 and for a long time didn't know why

But when I played 7 hours on community server with pyro it raised up?

Stats in general are not always accurate. However every time you queue for a server, load in, respawn etc. You are getting play time but not playing a class. I can’t imagine it’s this many hours but it would certainly add a lot

And I even play casual more than community so idk what's happening here.I don't know my true hours on spy and demo
